Last Wed, I had the fortunate honor of being invited into the Fashion Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony of Liz Claibourne and DVF herself at the Bryant Park Grill! I was so excited as earlier this year I enjoyed wearing her designers in a photoshoot hosted by the DVF team. In addition, I was really interested in seeing the large disks that are placed on 7th avenue to commemorate those in fashion who deserve to be highlighted for their creativity. I enjoyed listening to Liz Claibourne's husband talk about the late designer but I was so excited to hear what DVF had to say. I have included footage from that morning taken from me! I feel that her speech was informative and one that we can all remember - even when we want to do something, we need to challenge ourselves to do it as years later, it won't seem so scary and you will be acknowledged for your perseverance in this area.
