After yesterday's focus on Paul's Social TV event, I was definitely looking forward to exploring Santa Monica! Last night we kicked it off by going to Buddha's Belly which has a number of tasty dishes - the Tom Yum Ramen Soup was phenomenal! I also got to celebrate National Margarita Day by enjoying a Lychee Martini which was super tasty and exactly what I needed!

Getting up this morning, I knew that we had to tackle my photoshoot for my clothing line and to see the world famous, Santa Monica Pier which celebrated its 100th birthday back in 2009! I loved being able to walk on this pier and to see a number of things that I know from tv shows as well as just seeing how people dress (I love style watching). We even enjoyed the Soda Jerks who are housed in the Carousel building - they use soda water in their drinks and real syrups to make your cherry coke or rickeys (my fave). They also make phenom sundaes as well. This is the same place that last season's Top Chef Just Desserts had an opening challenge as they kicked it off on the pier.

After walking the pier, I had another item on my MUST list - head to the Eva Varro store. There is only one of its kind and I have been wearing this brand for nearly ten years when I'm running around, on TV segments, photoshoots and more! I was introduced to them via my fashion mom, Janine Weil who is their east coast rep and over the years I have met both Eva and Kalen who are a ridiculously gorgeous husband and wife team that just so happens to know a lot about style. Eva Varro is located at Santa Monica Place which is an outdoor mall which eventually led us to exploring adjoining shops on Wilshire Blvd. We also came upon Cabo Cantina which allowed me to continue to celebrate National Margarita Day with a Key Lime version - so yum! All of this was within walking distance to the Santa Monica Loews Hotel and since the weather is always fabulous, it allowed us to stroll around. Enjoy images from the day!
