My first intro to the Windows Phone took place in 2011 when I was gifted the Radar which ran on Windows 7. I was amazed by the fact that the tiles were interactive, I could slide them in the way I wanted on my phone and I liked that I could see everyone's updates very quickly whether you're emailing me, texting me or just adding a new status on your social network! Last week, I was in DC for 24 hours and then off to Baltimore to do some TV Segments. The Windows Phone team came to gift me my 3rd HTC phone! Since earlier this year I became an Intel Ambassador, I had gotten used to the Windows 8 platform since it's used on my Samsung ATIV - having it on my phone and seeing the changes made me fall in tech love! May 1st was super busy as I was on WJAL in DC for ABC 7/ Channel 8, Let's Talk Live talking about mom style and more right before Mother's Day! Then hours later I taped fun segments with ABC 2's The List in Baltimore about 5 Pregnancy Style 101 Items! I think with so many celebs and friends having babies, we all need to be educated about rocking this sense of style and doing it in a way that they look their best! Last night at the Oscars, Amanda Seyfried who starred in Les Miserables hit the red carpet of movie and fashion's biggest night! Amanda wore a custom halter Alexander McQueen gown in lilac organza which was covered in dragonfly embroidery. Like many, she wore nude; however, she stood apart from many on the carpet by opting out of a strapless gown and had a keyhole neckline. Her glimmery look was complete with earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and I love the hairstyle which was done by Jenny Cho, Suave Professionals Celebrity Stylist whose "... inspiration for Amanda’s hairstyle was her beaded, high-neck gown. Versace hit the red carpet and had the best person who could wear this black and gold dress with a nod to geometria, Halle Berry! When asked what made her say yes to the dress, she explained that since she was involved in presenting the award for the James Bond Tribute and she wanted to personify the Bond Girl and that this dress did it! Without a doubt, this dress proves that you can have a sexy and body conscious dress that looks amazing without the concern of wardrobe malfunctions. We know that Halle has an amazing style and body and you too can rock her beauty look which combined Revlon (Halle is the Global Brand Ambassador) and Chanel.

Kara Yoshimoto Bua, CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist, created a soft and feminine look with bold eyes and a colorful cheek to complement her Versace dress. “I kept Halle’s look pretty casual and tonal, yet still glamorous, to complement the striking look of the dress,” said Bua. “I focused on the eyes and added some shimmer for dimension. Hitting the red carpet is a dream and even more so when you're at the Oscars! Amy Adams, continued the theme of a dream with this fabulous neutral Oscar de la Renta dress which is full of whimsy. Although I love this dress and the grey tones, I'm still not convinces that this was the right dress for Amy in terms of the hue (I would have loved seeing her wear it in a toned down gold or any color that would have a pop in it as it's hard to pull off a neutral depending on your tone/undertones). She completes her look with fabulous diamond earrings and a bracelet from Mouawad which makes the entire look even more regal!

To get Amy's beauty look, she has Chanel and Celebrity Makeup Artist Stephen Sollitto to thank for this! You can create the same effect when you want to have this same look. Below, Stephen let's you know how he created it and of course, what he used.

INSPIRATION:

My inspiration is always a combination of the girl, the dress, the occasion and our feeling the day of the event. Since the gown is a pale slate, I wanted Amy's face to have subtle color. I thought a palette of plums, taupes and pinks would be
perfect for her. This is no specific look, just a stunning overall appearance with focus on her eyes.

SKINCARE:

Her skin was given a good dose of hydration with CHANEL Hydra Beauty Serum followed by CHANEL Sublimage Essential Regenerating Fluid and CHANEL Sublimage La Crème Yeux. I find that by moisturizing well, the foundation melts into the skin rather than drying on top of it. If her skin doesn't look healthy, you distract from the whole look. This step is just as important as I want Amy's skin to be at its best.

FOUNDATION:

SPF15 in 20 Beige on the high planes of the face and added a little CHANEL Perfection Lumiere Long-­‐Wear Flawless Fluid Sunscreen Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF15 through the center of the face to give a velvety complexion. I apply this with a damp
sponge so the application can be gentle and sheer leaving Amy's well moisturized skin to breath.

BLUSH:

On the apples of her cheeks, I lightly dusted CHANEL Powder Blush in Rose Petale, which is a perfect pink so she
looks flush with color, but not overpowered by it. I then added Poudre Signée De Chanel Illuminating Powder on the high cheekbones, a tiny amount on the bridge of the nose and the heart of her lips to add dimension and illumination. This effect is really beautiful and I love that it enhances how skin looks in photographs.

EYES:

Amy's eyes were the focus today. We thought an ethereal smokey eye using plums and taupes would be softer and
perfect match for the dress. I swept her whole lid with the pale pink shade from CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in
Mystic Eyes. This just gives me a blank canvas and a clean eye to work with but adds just a hint of sheen. Next, I lined her inner
upper and lower lids with CHANEL Precision Eye Definer in Brun. I did this first so it would blink away as we continued. Next, I lined
her upper lash line with the same pencil, smudging it out with a small brush. Over that pencil I swept this beautiful reflective shadow CHANEL Illusion D'Ombre in llusoire. This smudged the eye even more, softening yet deepening the color. I swept this
out to the corners making sure to blend. Lastly, in the very outer corners -­‐ right in the lash line -­‐ I tapped the deep plum color from CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Raffinement with a flat brush into her lashes darkening the root and the corners of her
eyes. Under her lower lash line, from corner to corner, I brushed the taupe color from this quad. Then with a straight flat brush, I
ground the muted lavender from this palette into the lower lashes. You're building the eye out here and each color is important.
The end result is subtle drama.

MASCARA:

I curled the lashes and added two coats of CHANEL Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir. I always use waterproof
mascara on so it stays all night. I added a few individual lashes in medium and small to thicken the lashes and add some drama without having to go too dark with the shadow.

LIPS:

I used CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Pygmalion (Available May 2013) on her lips for an
easy, effortless hint of pink. For a bit of reflection, I did a light coat of CHANEL Glossimer in Eden (Available May ) over it. This adds a bit of glamour with out stealing focus.

Jennifer Hudson rocked the red carpet at the Oscars last night in this fabulous dress by Roberto Cavalli in a richly hued blue gown. The high slit of this dress showed off her Jimmy Choo peep toe pumps. Later on in the evening she had an amazing performance from her movie "Dreamgirls" singing, "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" which left me breathless as the power of her voice is amazing!

Jennifer hit the red carpet with a simple, bone straight hairstyle crafted by Clairol Professional Celebrity Stylist Kiyah Wright. Kiyah created this look which is one that you will want to try when you're thinking of going super sleek.

* Prep hair with Clairol Professional Jazzing in Coffee Bean, let sit for 5 minutes and wash out with Clairol Professional Repair Shampoo and Conditioner.

* Spritz hair with a lightweight silicone spray to tame flyaways.

* Straighten small sections of hair using a flat iron starting at the nape and moving towards the top of the head.

* Cut wide set bangs and add clip-in extensions for length and drama.

* Finish off with another spritz of silicone spray for light hold and added shine.

I love Helen Hunt as an actress and to be honest, rarely have I ever considered to include her in my actresses of note for appearing on a red carpet! But all of that ended today as she looked AMAZING in this strapless navy dress. The real clincher was that this gorgeous dress is done by none other than H&M Couture! This dress not only had a train but is green (yes sustainable and is silk satin) as well as she rocked it with $700,000 worth of jewels by Martin Katz - talk about high low fashion! Unfortunately, this dress will not be found in stores as it is custom and made specifically for Helen Hunt; however, the fashion brand has launched an eco-friendly initiative with Global Green.

On our site Kitten Lounge, the Oscars red carpet was livestreamed thanks to AP via Rightster! Fan Bingbing stunned in this fabulous Marchesa dress which just came off of NYFW's Fall 2013 runways but a mere few days ago There is so much drama in this dress and yet Fan's demure personality is a pleasant contrast!

A great color in your favorite accessory is also a nod towards a hue that could work with you in your makeup routine! With the Oscars taking place this weekend, there are bound to be a number of beauty looks that will be great takeaways. ACCESSORIES INSPIRATION

Personally, I'm loving Coral! This hue has quite a range as it can be a bold vibrant color as you would find in this Giuseppe Zanotti heels which is a vibrant pink with a slight red element in it all the way down to a hue that has more of a dust rose/dust blush in a toned down version of coral like these Steve Madden heels which are perfect to accent your fab pedi and ankles!

GET THE BEAUTY LOOK

With such a wide range and so many options (I don't even want to tell you how many lipglosses, shadows and blushes I have within this range of hues), there are a number of ways to bring this look into your face to warm up your skin and to create the sunkissed look that I love wearing when I am on TV segments or that you see your fave celebs rocking. With the nail polishes, if you're going to go coral it has to be bold and although Essie has a number of polishes within this hue that are just slightly different from one another but still having major impact, this one in Geranium is a fave without a doubt! This is perfect for the days of being out and about, hitting the beach and just a fun color in general.

The lips are an essential when I'm on air as I love to do a lip cocktail (mixing a number of shades together to get the perfect pout). Within lipglosses, I'm loving Glazed Lips in Sheer Deep Coral and I love the subtle nature of DuWop's Venom Gloss Coral Tree. For the ultimate in lip color, Yves Saint Laurent has the perfect stain in Extreme Coral. For a shade that's in the middle of vibrant and subtle hues, Tom Ford's True Coral is a great option as well. Line your lips or fill it in as a layer with Colorescience's lip pencil in Coral Life's a Peach.

It's all about the cheeks and having those amazing cheek bones with great blush. For subtle style mavens I suggest Bobbi Brown's Coral blush which has a bit of shimmer. For those who wish to go bolder, I suggest Revlon's Photo Ready Cream Blush in Coral Reef. As a side note, I use a number of corals on my cheeks so those with mid to darker skin tones shouldn't be afraid to have blush that fits in the dark pink to berry tones. In many cases, I actually mix is in with a bronze hued bronzer to tone it down so you have the hint of pink or coral hue coming out which makes your skin look illuminated!

I kicked off my NYFW morning (early) with the Perfect Pearl Beauty launch at Barneys NY's restaurant Fred's. This line focuses on the beauty needs for mother and baby. Now although I don't have children, I'm a huge believer that baby products are focused on sensitive skin and although mine isn't - there's no reason not to include this within your routine. The range of product is pretty diverse and I'm very excited to try this out once I get passed these busy days. They will soon be in the hands of celebs as they will be apart of a gifting suite for the Oscars which takes place later this month.

The power of the pearl goes back thousands of years and is paraben free, preservative free and hypoallergenic. I'm excited to try the Bust Serum with pure pearls as this is a great item to use to keep this area lifted, Stretch Mark Cream which also has pure pearl (I find that a number of products focusing on stretch marks works well to take dark marks away in general), Baby Face Cream with pure pearl which will make your skin soft as well as the Baby Cleansing Foam for Face and Body. Everything within the product line includes pure pearls and the baby line which includes diaper cream, nursing lotion, and powder is the ultimate in luxury.

My favorite look of the night (which reminded me of Katherine McPhee's Golden Globes dress by Theyskens Theory in terms of dramatic plunging necklines and this femme/edgy look) is the dress worn by Jaimie Alexander (she was most known for her role in Kyle XY as well as being in the film Thor)! Now there was another attendee who had a dress that showed severe side side cut out that bordered on being a bit much for my taste; however, Jaimie's was definitely daring while being a great way to show skin in a spin on the classic gown by Marc Bouwer. The ruching and draping of this gown left a lot of texture to enjoy.

Most importantly, Jaimie's look is accessorized by Orner plaatform strappy heels by Jerome C Rousseau. Her chic look continued with Norman Silverman earrings and a fab Demarco diamond ring.

To create Jaimie's fabulous look, hair and make-up artist, Jeffrey Paul worked his magic with hair products from Not Your Mother's Haircare and a number of beauty products. You too can recreate the look.

Lightly curl with big curling iron

Add a drop of Smooth Moves frizz control on hands and gather hair back of head and secure with a hair bungee

For fabulous eyes, Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Vanites was used with the richest plum applied to the crease and the palest silvery/lilac shade used into the lash line. A little smudge of plum was used under the lash line for extra pop. The top lid was lined with Chanel Style Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense. Chanel Le Crayon Kohl Intense Eye Pencil in Noir was used on the lower lid.

Mascara

Kerry Washington of ABC's Scandal never disappoints! I also feel that if there's a person who can rock the heck out of a color, she does it and is always a vision in white! Kerry stunned on the SAG Award's red carpet as she made her way inside to be one of the presenters of the night in a show where actors vote for other actors. I love when stars rock fabulous looks and it seems so true to their personal image! Julie Bowen of ABC's Modern Family looked amazing in Johanna Johnson in a black leather gown (on trend) with embellished cap sleeves from their Spring Summer 2013 Red Carpet Collection. I'm obsessed with this designer and I always love when looks that hit the runway, make it onto the red carpet. Although I love how it looked when it was presented, I do like how Julie made it her own. Makeup artist Heather Currie complemented Julie’s stunning sultry black leather dress with a subtly sexy cat eye and a soft, romantic pink lip. Here are Heather's steps to get the look:

Face

Currie kept Julie’s skin looking dewy and fresh by applying Avon Be Blushed Cheek Color in Powder Pink on the apples of her cheeks.

Eyes

Currie used Avon Irresistibly Sexy Eyeshadow Palette in Bombshell to bring depth and smokiness to Julie’s eyes and add a little shimmer to pick up the glimmer on the jewel's on Julie's dress.

The inner rims of Julie's eyes were lined with Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner in Cosmic Brown, and the tops of her eyelids with Avon Ultra Luxury Eyeliner in Black. She then smudged the black liner into Julie’s eyeshadow to create a subtle cat eye and finished the look with a coat of black Mascara.

Lip

In order to create a romantic lip that would complete Julie’s look, Currie swiped two coats of Avon's NEW Totally Kissable lipstick in Lovey Dovey on Julie’s lips. No gloss was used in order to keep the lip color soft and rich at the same time.

She wore a stunning Dolce & Gabbana and accessorized it with $1M earrings from Forever Mark and Jimmy Choo heels and clutch.

Face:

Applied false eyelashes and two coats of mark’s Scandalash Mascara in Blacklash and filled in the lower lash line with mark’s No Place to Run Longwear Eyeliner in Jet set. Finished the eyes with one coat of Scandalash Mascara in Blacklash on the lower lashes.
