I can't believe how many places I have visited within a little over 4 weeks of travel! When you do a lot of it, you start getting your habits down and it's second nature. You make a semblance of home when you're on the road! I always have such an issue when it comes to packing as there are a lot of items in my beauty arsenal that I have to have just in case. What if I find out that I will be doing Z in addition to X and Y? If the day is a little stressing on my body, shouldn't I also bring this too? I like having everything in its place and Stephanie Johnson's Shanghai Collection hang up bag travel case has been and will continue to be a lifesaver! I love that it has tons of pockets, zips and space. Some spaces are larger than others so it's easy for me to put items in compartments. The bottom section was perfect for cosmetics such as Purple Lab's Luvah, Elizabeth Grant's The Socializer, etc and the top ones are good for the actual skincare items. I have to say that in my travels, I loved being able to try new additions to my fave products such as The Liberty Hotel was not only fab as it used to be a jail but they also carriedMolton Brown items and The Delano which is beyond luxurious, Korres. I even love the zebra pouch as it's the perfect place to include items for the time of the month that rolls around.
Although it hangs on the door, it can be folded together and is held securely by a set of clasps. On nights that I did an overnight, I kept everything inside and on the times where I had a few days, I was able to take some of it out.

For inquiring minds we had a snafu with getting last week's Project Accessory up and this week's; however, our snafu will be fixed by the end of the week and this week you will get a double dose - rings and bags! We're upgrading our tech on Kitten Lounge's end so that everything will run a lot smoother so definitely thanks for asking but the project continues!
With that said, I want to let you know about Sabina Les who is an amazing scarf designer and will have a trunk show at Bloomingdales Soho this Fri and Sat! If you are in the area or are simply looking for something to do, then definitely check her out! I was just at Nicole Miller's launch at Sak's for her new perfume the other night and loved seeing that she had her models wearing scarves that tied back into her new scent! They're a great way to pop in color so definitely take some time to stop by to meet Sabina and to see her collection!
I love technology until it doesn't work or temporarily puts me at a halt. Yes it's Tues and we are slightly delayed with posting today's Project Accessory which will be posted once we have gotten over our difficulties on our end! But don't despair when you see it, you'll love it as it covers rings but until it's up, enjoy a look perfect for the Spring going into the summer! I love this dress from T Bags as it's super easy from running around to appointments and then going out for the evening. I love the idea of mixing golds and copper together to create the ultimate sun kissed look! Enjoy the spread and we will have Project Accessory up as soon as we can!
With so many things going on at this very moment, it's nice to get up to a little calm now and then even if it's super foggy outside. First order of business, if you can't be at Coachella this year or are thinking about going next year, TigerTem, a fellow On Sugar blogger and accessories designer shows us that we should stay 'Forever Young' with an amazing performance of Jay-Z and Beyonce who shocked the audience by appearing on stage! Today we tackle the ever growing question - how do you dress to a cool loft event whether it's to see a local band, go to a fashion show or to head out to an art exhibit? As mentioned in the video, it's about starting with your blank canvas. I live in jeans and tanks and wear this to a number of places. Since this is the look I'm most comfortable with, it's important for my accessories to amp up the outfit! Today. I started out with a fab Murano ring that I got in Italy and Whitney, a super long necklace that I created from my line, Kitten Couture.
Cuffs and bangles are the way to go on this one and I show you how a blank canvas merely amplifies the whole situation. Imagine that it's consistently warm, you have a number of events and you're all about keeping it casual. Now you have the perfect look and all you need is your favorite arm candy to complete the look!
Getting that fab healthy skin look is a combination of using great products to clean it as well as items that bring out your natural inner goddess. This week has been amazingly warm (oh yes today I busted out with the flip flops and a tank) and has been super busy. Between running into meetings, planning yet another LA trip in the next few weeks, launching Hamptons Guide as well as our fab Hamptons Goodie Totes (4 bags filled with Purple Lab, Cynthia Rybakoff, Yak Pak, Victoria's Secret Beauty and more) I find that it's even more important to take care of your skin so that you're camera ready wherever you go.

You can never forget to grab some of this before heading out the door. On top of this when you feel the need to refresh, the moist towelettes by Dickinson's are not only handy but a necessity as the temperatures continue to rise. Once you know that your skin is clean and that it's protected, let's talk about the glow. I'm obsessed with NARS Body Glow and never hit the road without it. It's has that nice tone and it's never over the top. Being a natural cocoabebe I can say that it works for all skin tones and is definitely worth the price! In addition, don't forget your lips. Not only does Purple Lab's Huge Lips Skinny Hips give you the perfect plum pout but it also gives that goddess glow that makes everyone excited to see you coming and going.

It's finally here! Project Accessory has kicked off and the video above is bringing together 3 fab designers to kick us off. Brunch is my fave meal of the week and with the weather getting better, there isn't a need to carry a bulky bag. Last week, I sent out a major call for Accessories Designers to send in their information to be apart of Project Accessory! The response has been amazing and we have great shows starting April 6th! I'm proud to say that most of April and May has been taken up for these weekly slots. You guys know that I am a fanatic about organization as I love my Editorial Calendars so having yet another calendar to work on is amazing. Although slots are filling up, we still have plenty of room as we will do this throughout the year and many of the designers will make it into a book that will also be apart of this theme.
Continue to flood my inbox whether we have worked together or haven't. There are so many fabulous rings, belts, shoes, clutches, hobo bags, earrings, cuffs, bracelets, etc that need to be shown. In addition, there are amazing designers that I see at the Accessories Shows, other trade shows and of course within their showrooms that I can't keep those goodies to myself. Today's post is yet another call to action as we begin filming next week and for now, I'm keeping the designers under wraps but they are pretty phenomenal. Above are pieces that are definitely amazing to include in your spring and summer wardrobes. Thank you to everyone that has submitted as it's quite a process but I am looking at your lookbooks, websites, etc and the calendar to fit you in. With the amazing weather that we have been enjoying, you begin to think of all the activities that you can do outside as opposed to inside. Whether you're hitting Central Park, your rooftop, the beach, etc - you have to take in the fresh air. Right now I'm on the countdown to April 3rd as the new iPad is coming out. It will be so much nicer to bring this as opposed to my laptop as it's way lighter and can fit in this fab bag by Marc by Marc Jacobs! Grabbing my travel mug (I'm recently obsessed with hot water, lemon, honey from Hampton's Honey and a bit of ginger - yum) and then hitting outside to get some work done or just to wait for friends before hitting my fave brunch spot - Paris Commune.
This weekend is all about getting some serious work done outdoors as we have fun projects coming up.
