Last week I began my holiday preview appointments which allows me to see what will be out there for the holiday season. Many of the items will not only be within the daily posts but in the Holiday Gift Guide as well! This holiday season, Victoria's Secret is all about glitz, glitter and sequins and not only is this in their lingerie and clothing, but this will be in many of the scents and lines within their beauty collection that you love! Seeing them turn one of their rooms into a Victoria's Secret winter wonderland, was interesting as we were in the midst of the heat wave. Above are products that are currently out that I am a fan of. Many of these will get the holiday makeover so definitely keep your eye out for them but for now, continue your bronzed beach babe look with these fab scents and shimmers!
The workouts continue as I'm inching closer to the completion of Deadline Fitness, by Celebrity Trainer - Gina Lombardi. I love working out and with so much going on, I had to change up a few things so I've added yoga into the mix. Since I have taken it with various instructors, I've learned about things that are perfect for me! I'm a huge fan of placing oils in the palm of my hands before I begin to do yoga. The aromatherapy element that this provides is amazing and I'm a fan of lavendar which helps me to calm down and to relax that much more. I never know where I have to go after yoga so along with the mat, I always have a bag so that I can continue to do whatever. I'm also a fan of Functionalab's supplements as I have been taking them on and off since last year. I love the beauty tonic and it's easy to take when you're on the go!
For those that are still on the fitness kick with me or have recently picked it up, continue on as I'm sure you're seeing the results and loving it. Event when I fly out on the 28th to meet up with the rest of the bloggers that participated in this challenge, continue on as it's nice to stay fit and it gives you an extra boost in your day!
Clear skin is always in as well as it being smooth! I think that that is probably my biggest beauty MUST. I have been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter since I can remember and I always have the largest tub possible. What I love about it is that when you use it everyday your skin is super soft and has a natural glow about it. I also love having soft feet. Now living on a beach, one of the best natural ways to keep your feet soft is walking on the sand but if you can't get there or want to get some extra softness, I've been a fan of The Body Shop's Foot Scrub for a number of years and love the smell! Great skin is smooth and recently I have fallen in love with Completely Bare Hair Inhibitor which reduces the amount of hair over time which is always a great thing! Finally, the past two weeks I have enjoyed using Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Brusher Cleanser which is a nice way to clean the skin and leaves it smelling fresh and for a lack of a better word - renewed! These are great items to add into your beauty routine to give you that amazing look that you see in magazines!
So when it's hot out there and I'm running around, I need to have items with me that allow me to rock a sexy sweaty look as it's pretty difficult to make this go away. The heat that's been in NYC has made it difficult but you work through it! Here are my essentials that you can always find in my bag. I love Coach's Poppy Fragrance (which launched earlier this month) and by having the little spritzer it allows me to put some on on my way to an event or a preview! If I'm not feeling in the mood to wear that, I switch over to my Dove Body Mist as this is a great way to get the heat smell off of you! I also love having a tonal eye shadow as you can see a bit of a shimmer which adds to the island babe look.
Earlier this week, I went to the launch of Bizzy which is a great site that allows you to support and find out about your local restaurants, stores and more. You create your lists (my list is here) and help your community stay local as I'm all about the localsphere! Gusto Ristorante e Bar Americano is one of my favorite places (they're on Bizzy too right here) and it was nice to see so many of my friends as well as to enjoy amazing food and beverages! It was a great night and you never know when the camera is going to pop out! My style on days like this is an easy breezy maxi dress, a simple bag and rocking beach goddess chic without a doubt!
