As I've mentioned before, this fall my wardrobe is all about neutral tones and playing with the hues together. It's all about playing with tones together and showing the dynamic abilities that monotone hues can have. I started off with a fab pair of lambskin leggings by Utzon whcih is the ultimate in luxe and comfort which is essential. I adore cowl neck tops and this one by Iliaria Nistri is the perfect balance of layered sheer fabric with a fab oyster shell color. With the in between color, this All Saints shrug is the perfect way to ensure that you are properly secure from the chill of fall. Of course when it comes to accessories, I am OBSESSED with Bottega Veneta's amazingly woven leather tote! A fab cocktail ring from Somchintana White is the perfect way to add pop to your hands and to add glamor to the overall look. Zoe Opaque's necklace continues the theme of rocking champagne hues with the fab drop pendant necklace. I love the antiqued look as it makes the outfit have a depth to it. Finally, slip into Camilla Skovgaard's ankle boot which has a mix of textures and hues.
As you know, I was apart of the Get Palladium Pretty campaign which focused on being over heavy metal and yet still having phenomenal gorgeous pieces that are luxurious, light weight and is cost effective due to the use of this material versus others. Interestingly enough as soon as it was placed within the October issue of Cosmo, I started noticing that Palladium Jewelry is everywhere with Kelly Osbourne being one of the spokespeople for the brands as well, she wore it on the Emmy Red Carpet show along with a number of other stunning women. In addition, when Sarah Jessica Parker launched her movie "I Don't Know How She Does It" Palladium Jewelry was apart of the premiere. With that said, It has become something that I definitely love wearing and seeing a number of designers using it! When you're buying jewelry whether it's for everyday, a gift or for a wedding (which we will be covering Bridal Week during this month) I'm excited to introduce you to today's sponsor!
Novell Design Studio which makes it precious metal pieces in NJ, presents a new line of hand-crafted bracelets created with one of the Earth’s great precious metals – palladium. Naturally white, palladium currently costs less than platinum or gold, has some of the finer qualities of platinum and will handle the trials and tribulations of every day wear very well. Palladium’s purity and preciousness make it an extremely attractive value for precious metal jewelry. Should your palladium bracelet become scratched over time (as all precious metal jewelry will), it can be refinished and restored to look new. Novell’s palladium bracelets also incorporate pink gold accents for a perfect hint of color.
Novell’s success has been in that they began as a family company (started by two guys who had a dream and worked with a small room on 47th street) with a small group of workers handcrafting sterling silver bracelets and jewelry. They grew organically from selling locally, the East Coast and then across the country. Their skill allowed them to be within a number of famed jewelry stores which allowed them to fill a niche and present their designs. Palladium bracelets can be purchased through an authorized Novell retailer. Visit their site to find a store that's in your area. Within this collection, depending on design characteristics, these phenom Palladium bracelets start at $1,000. What a great way to start invest within your accessories and ultimately to create heritage pieces which are essential to any wardrobe.
