Kimmie ~ Editor in Chief
Kimmie has always had a passion for design and entertainment as she is the Great Niece of the late tenor saxophonist, Joe Henderson. Although she has never performed musically, she has worked as a publicist for various digital recording artists and loves supporting those that are indie performers as well. It was her love for working within a digital medium that encouraged her to launch Sikara Designs Group which creates and maintains companies presence online via social networks and serving as a Community Manager for blogs. In addition, it serves as an educational tool as well with Kimmie making appearances via seminars and also training staff members throughout various industries how to use this for their clients.
In terms of fashion and accessories, Kimmie grew up watching her mother not only make clothes for her but would spend countless summer days in her mother's boutique watching people purchase her custom clothing. Being inspired by watching raw materials become finished goods, Kimmie would go on to modeling once she arrived in NYC and became the designer of Kitten Couture clothing which focused on resort wear. But it was a trip to South Beach that turned Kitten Couture from a clothing line to a jewelry line. Believing in handmade materials and the use of natural stones and shells, her collection was born. This collection was recently included within the Cast Wrap Goodie Bags for 'My One and Only' starring Renee Zellweger, Chris Noth and Kevin Bacon. In addition, it has been worn by Ms Vancouver 2008 as she was competing to become Ms Universe Canada 2008. Finally, Kimmie participated within the Diana Von Furstenberg X Blogger photoshoot and wore one of her own pieces as well. Kimmie enjoys attending Fashion Week, visiting presentations (who doesn't love previewing Jimmy Choos line) and also working with those in the PR field who fill her in on the "next thing" that her readers can enjoy.
Kimmie's work within the entertainment and fashion communities, created a network of individuals and work that she wanted to showcase. As accessories is her primary love, she became the Editor of See Pretty Things which was named "Best Accessories Blog 2006" by Accessories Magazine only months after its creation. Since Kimmie has always liked the ability to be creative and to showcase all of her interests, she created Kitten Lounge. In its original form, this was an Internet radio show that was apart of a one hour time slot on D'Art Radio and ran for five seasons. In October 2007, she decided that she wanted to launch it again and focus on beauty, style, fashion, entertainment - in essence a lifestyle site. "It is not my purpose to state what people should and should not do or wear but only to present something that someone may find interesting and decide how they wish to incorporate this within their personal style or interests". Kitten Lounge is an extension of Kimmie's belief and she enjoys interacting with her readers, artists, designers, PR houses and more that make this possible. Kimmie is proud to be a Contributing Editor at PR Couture. You can see her providing DIY PR tips to those that are indies within the fashion industry. In addition, she recently launched Kitten Lounge on Mogulus which will allow her to include a video companion to the popular blog!
Paul ~ Food Editor & Tech Editor
Paul grew up with food being a binding element within his family. Originally from Russia, he came to the US at the age of 11 and had his culinary skills tweaked by cooking with his mother. Paul continued to cook on his own and grew into his own style which is a modified version of traditional recipes with a twist.
Paul loves a little heat and of course he likes to keep it fresh by visiting local Farmer's Markets throughout the city. His visits introduce him to new foods such as Avocado Squash which he later turned in to a new recipe! Being a foodie at heart, Paul not only cooks his own tasty meals, but enjoys visiting various areas that may not be widely known but are on the list of things you should eat at!

Kitten Lounge is excited to have Paul on the team to share more of his thoughts on food as we continue to learn about his favorite meals and the ones that we should include in future recipes as well.
