For $100,000, fashion and sustainability come together when it comes to crusiing around in the eco Fisker Karma. Such celebs as Alicia Keys have been sporting these around town and when I think of hanging out in one of my fave hotspots (I've already been thinking of my mid season break when the temperatures become truly challenging), this car and bikinis go hand in hand in South Beach, Miami. Whether you're rocking out and staying at the Delano or are cruising Ocean Drive, there is only way to make this look amazing!
Your fabulous look comes together within Vix swimwear with an Ella bandeau top and faux leather trimmed bikini briefs. Cover it up with Roberto Cavalli's animal print kaftan. This look is further accessorized with Jimmy Choo (my essential go to when it's for a night out or a day for your feet to truly be on display) Pekabo Cork platform which are black and gold! Finally, this fab haircalf handbag by Saint Laurent is the ultimate in chic!
Whether you were in Miami or were glued to your Twitter feed, you know that the hottest show that hit the runway was Cia.Maritima with a playful looks at animal prints and fabulous swimwear looks. Find out more about the show and their previous seasons by visiting their page at Mercedes Benz Swim Fashion Week.
More often then not, my look is inspired by my accessories but today, I'm focusing on an entire look that compliments my lip! I'm loving this subtle hue known as Heavenly Lips Lipstick in Melon by Elizabeth Grant. With such a fab hue I wanted to mix my melons with my blood orange citrusy hues! So why not rock this fabulously decadent Roberto Cavalli animal print silk dress with fun pieces! I love this Cathy Waterman Coral Arabesque ring which is a nice piece of candy on your finger! Add additional aged qualities by rocking this Gurhan gold cross bronzed necklace. Finally, I'm loving this Fabi lattice strappy sandal which is the perfect way to rock your pedicure!
Animal Print is always in season. It's a great way to keep it seasonless no matter what the time of year it is. I also love that for the girl who questions rocking this look, pairing it with black is always a fab choice. Wendy Williams (who I have loved since back in my visual merchandising days when I would hear her radio show while working in various workshops in creating windows. Her "how you doing" kept me going day by day! I'm loving how she looked when she hit the step and repeat for The Hollywood Reporter's 35 Most Powerful People event - and yes she definitely is one! I'm loving her look and of course, I definitely have some ideas on how I would have added a little nuvo glam in there!
Rocking a motorcycle jacket with a chic dress is a fabulous look! Personally, I think that this jacket is a bit too edgy and would actually pair it with Ann Demeulemeester who does leather jacets with a feminine twist to it without losing the edge; moroever, not confusing this as a piece that you would wear if you were actually on a motorcycle. She could rock this look with a fabulous onyx cocktail ring by Ivanka Trump. Keeping it super classic is easy with this Chanel Vintage Coin Cuff which is a great look for any outfit your sporting. Finally, I'm loving her heels; however, I love a rounded peep toe and this pair by Casadei in python is phenomenal and would have taken this look to a whole other level!
While I attended Theia at Style 360, I popped by to see my friend Sabina of Sabina Les was showing outside of the show. As an Accessories Expert, I'm always looking for what's in, what continues to be a mainstay and how to translate that into my audience. Sabina's scarves are not only able to be worn in a number of ways but there are a number of prints that are perfect to add a pop of color into your look. Throughout the many years that I have known her, her attention to detail, quality materials and creative nature continues to ensure that these scarves keep getting major press and new devotees as well! These scarves took animal print to another level by placing them in a tasteful way. Every time I started focusing on a scarf from this new collection, I realized that I fell in love with it! With a revamped website, you have to check out all of her offerings, her press and so much more!
We're not quite at the half way point this month but we're super close and I have been opening and closing projects at a whirlwind pace! With all of this activity, it's time to think about taking a mini breather and go out dancing! I love a night of just grabbing some drinks but dancing until your knees can barely stand. When I have one of those ah ha moments, I know that I have to dress up in something fabulous and just get out there! With that said, you have to start out with the king of fun pieces - Roberto Cavalli knows how to come up with a fab item. I'm loving this one shoulder dress that's black and has a pop of animal print which is definitely a signature of his. The dress is a statement on its own but of course, a girl has to rock the night in fab accessories.
I suggest, Judith Jack's fun ring which is a great wrap style, a bit of rose gold and I love the play of the gems to add a little dynamic pop in black and in grey. Continue with Free People's vintage twisted arm cuff (perfect for the arm that is left bare by this outfit). I'm loving the chandelier earrings by Pippa Small which is the perfect way to adorn your neck without being on it actually. Hold this Anya Hindmarch fun woven leather clutch for your basic necessities. Complete this look with a fab pair of Fendi pumps that let everyone know that whichever night this is being worn, will truly be epic!
