Celebrity make up artists are definitely people that I keep an eye out for. Tomorrow on QVC, spunky and super cute Mally Roncal who has worked on Heidi Klum and Beyonce will be on air at 8pm EST to launch her very own fragrance, Mally BeautyFragrance! I received a sample for free from my friends at QVC and the scent has such an awesome citrus scent that really makes you feel good! Mally knows all about bringing out the inner diva in her clients and with this scent and super personality, she's bound to tap into yours! Make sure to check her out!

Mingling Mondays~ Aiisha Haute Couture

I work hard to continue to bring you interesting content to Kitten Lounge and over the next few weeks, you'll see those changes. I'm so proud to bring you Aiisha Haute Couture which will be gracing the runways of Dubai later this fall in November. I love that she brings the sense of old world glamour in an eye catching way! Without a doubt her pieces give you that great goddess look while allowing you to add all your favorite accessories to achieve the overall desired look.

I also love that after being introduced to her designs, I enjoyed hearing various projects that she has been apart of. Paris Hilton had a Dubai based reality show where she focused on local designers of the area - Aiisha was one of the designers who had 7 dresses on this show. More impressive to me are the collaborations that she has done within technology (which you know I'm a fan of). Via her shows, she participated in a fashion show that allowed her to show technology in fashion in everyday life that was presented by Nokia. She also did a fashion show in collaboration with Swarovski Crystals and Nokia. This stylist and designer has also been the spokesperson for HP and their laptops as well. I love when fashion and tech come together and feel that her designs are something that takes glamour to another level! If you will be at the Dubai Mall on Nov 3rd, you'll be able to see her fashion show with Victoria Casal and Manolo Blahnik! If not, Kitten Lounge will bring this to you!

Wearable Wednesdays: Countdown to Spring

Yes it's cold out there and although we haven't gotten through the worse part, I love the fact that Spring is around the corner. Over the next few months I'll be traveling to Orlando, Dominican Republic, South Beach, LA, Chicago and possibly Costa Rica. Except for Chicago, the other locations are all warm weather bound (we also have our crawfish and lobster boil during the summer which will take place at our condo with friends)! I've definitely started to purchase a few dresses that will be perfect for these trips. I love my t-shirt/tank and jeans/yoga pants; however, it's nice to glam it up every now and then! To that end, I have been looking for various pieces that are perfect to wear for drinks, going out dancing, etc.

Last last fall, I had the opportunity to learn about Single Dress! I love that they embody "South Beach style". I love the prints, styles and just the element of resort style. Of course you don't have to wait until you go on vacation to wear these pieces. It's perfect to party at the Meat Packing District, to take up to the Hamptons and more. In addition to super cute dresses, Single Dress and its various collections can also be worn with your favorite jeans and shoes as well. Today I am sending you the first three episodes of "Cooking to Get Lucky" which has two celebs cooking and showing you what you need to know in order to get lucky - whatever that means for you haha. Starring Bob Guiney (of the Bachelor from a previous season) and Eden Riegel of All My Children, these two laugh their way through some recipes that you would definitely want to know a lot more about for whatever your intended end result it. Fashionable Fridays: I'm Interviewed on Pop17 About Internet Celebrity in Fashion

Last night was a crazy night! I was on Pop17 with Sarah Austin, a lifecaster who I find funny and love that she responds pretty quick to email (PS if it wasn't for @JuliaRoy, I would not have known about her and been on the show - you have to love Twitter)! Pop17 is a super cute show that looks at internet celebrity, issues and more. I was able to meet Famous Andrew who you should all follow on Twitter (FamousAndrew). Currently, he is a student at Parsons and is taking a course there about being famous on the Internet. He generates suggestions from those who visit his site and then he does various videos. Last week he pretended to be a banker that was affected by the current economical environment. You definitely should check out his videos since they are not only amusing but it helps him get a great grade for his course.

As a guest, I shared how Internet Celebrity works in terms of Fashion. Sarah made a great point that Paris Hilton became famous by appearing on the red carpet and I gave some examples of people that I know! Although this video is about 27 minutes, I am towards the end of this video and I give shout outs to Natali del Conte of Cnet's Loaded, Sarah Conley of Style It and Kiki Kannibal. Of course we chat about my sites and interests as well. I love being a guest and sharing how the internet and fashion work so well so enjoy!

Of course, not only was I running to get to Mogulus Studios to get to the interview, but I also ran from there to go to the Clearisil presentation at Bowlmor Lanes to look at new products that will launch in March. I will definitely do a special post on this later on today but let me just say that it was amazing and worth being out of breath to get there in order to enjoy great nibbles, a few beers and to see the products up close (a little teaser: I can always tell when a pimple is starting and now I have something that can fit in any bag that will stop it! Absolute love!!). More on this later on today as I am super tired and wanted to get you guys an early post to enjoy for the nightowls this Friday!

Kitten Lounge is Following the Starter Wife

One of the things that I loved most about Sex and the City is that it had fabulous outfits that dazzled you. From the simplistic looks to those that were for a massive night out, there was always something that you wanted to keep in your closet. Yes, Sex and the City was an end of and era of amazing fashions (I suppose people thought the same thing with Dynasty and other shows such as that). Fortunately, I have picked up such shows as Lipstick Jungle to enjoy the super cute looks but I do believe that I have acquired another find - USA Network's the Starter Wife whose 2 hour premier wil launch tonight!

Debra Messing stars in The Starter Wife; however, much like Patricia Field was a dynamic element to the show, Agata Maskiewics is the same for this show! I can't wait to see all the looks (some which are including within the gallery of this post) and make sure to tune into USA at 9pm EST for the 2 hour premier and to see whether you loved seeing Carrie's east coast looks or those that Molly (Debra's character) will wear as a lady of Hollywood. Below is a snippet of the interview with Agata Maskiewics, costume designer for this series. Being a costume designer must be a fun job! How did you get your start?

I started working in the film & TV industry after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where I studied fashion design. I started as an intern on a feature film and worked my way up holding various positions in the costume department.

How is styling a celebrity different from styling a character in film or television?

While I don’t particularly style celebrities, I feel that the main difference is that when designing a character the job is to transform an actor into the character they are portraying. Often times the costumes can really help an actor make the transition into the character they are set to play. Also, sometimes the costumes are not meant to be flattering; depending on the character, the goal isn’t always to make them look beautiful. But when styling a celebrity, it’s all about having them look amazing.

What role does fashion play in The Starter Wife?

Fashion is almost like another character in The Starter Wife. So much of the personality of the actors comes through in the clothing they wear. Our goal is to have the audience as excited about the fashions as they are the characters. We want the people at home to feel as though they can hear the ruffle of Molly’s Zac Posen silk dress and smell the exquisite leather of her Manolos. We want them to daydream about getting into Molly’s closet and have the opportunity to dress from it everyday as she does. And yes, the closet is huge, since as a Hollywood woman, she never repeats an outfit!

If you look to the left, you'll see Lindsay Lohan sporting a series of super cute scarves. These are no ordinary scarves but are Love Quote Scarves which are making an appearance everywhere and are known for having inspirational quotes and come in a variety of colors. I am such a fan of scarves that are like this and reall love the one that is in Mocha that Lindsay is wearing towards the bottom of the page! I love that you can wear it with something simple and instantly you have taken your outfit to a whole other level without much effort! This scarf is available in a variety of super cute boutiques online but there is one that I have become recently acquainted with - Singer 22, that is definitely a great place to pick up this and other great finds. They are known for bringing the best items that are worn by today's hottest celebrity and in case you're wondering, they include great pics like this one to show that this is something that they are currently wearing. Take some time to not only pick up this scarf but to get acquainted with Singer 22 as well!
