It's officially awards season and we will let you know about a number of the looks that are being rocked at a number of red carpet events that take place from now until the end of the season! Yesterday, the Audi Golden Globe 2013 Kick Off Party took place last night at Cecconi's restaurant in West Hollywood. NBC's Fashion Star, Louise Roe wore a fabulously yellow dress from Todd Lynn's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. I love the kaftan effect of this piece and accented with a pair of pointy toe heels and L.K. Bennett 'Alexia' clutch in taupe. This is a great look to wear when you're thinking of the perfect outfit for a brunch, bridal luncheon and more.

Now admittedly, the American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala took place here in NYC back in May at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center and one of my favorite housewives from Bravo's, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey looked so timeless when she hit the red carpet this summer! I had a brief moment of meeting her weeks after this event in New Orleans at Essence Music Festival at the My Black is Beautiful Booth where I was a celebrity stylist at this P&G booth on behalf of Crest as I am a Brand Ambassador for Crest 3D White! She was absolutely stunning and has amazing skin! I love the plunging neckline of this color blocked dress that also huge her curved and how she mixes her metals together. As an Accessories Expert, I am always focused on styling the right touch for this look. As a fan of natural pieces, I have fallen in love with Kimberly McDonald and am obsessed with this large geode ring with rose cut diamonds (my signature piece is an oversized large cocktail ring by Ana Reign and when I see people that can carry this look off, I'm always looking for was to add it in) as well as her geode necklace! Usually, I love mixing designers but these pieces are perfect together.

It's almost New Years Eve! We're a big believer in making sure that we send the year off in a great way so that when the clock clicks over, you're still ringing it in well. Of course, we have fabulous options that you can think about for whichever way that you will be spending the holiday. We know that in 2013, Emerald is the color of the moment throughout the year; however, we have to pay hommage to this year's color that was crowned by Pantone for 2012 - Tangerine. What an amazing hue that is perfect whether it was worn during the summer or in the fall. We had to share some of our favorite finds from this year and of course, wanted to show how it can still be infused throughout your home! French Connection has a fabulous dress that mixes various hues of orange which will make you look fabulous whether it's for a holiday party or something for the spring!

First we have to start in the bedroom, how can you not love this pop of tangerine with this bedding including a duvet and sham by Dwell - how can you not love how crisp it looks! Add this Boden chair to your vanity or use it as a little stool. Move into the kitchen with my favorite latte bowls (I have them in grey) in the orange hue and available at Anthropologie. With guests coming over, add these washcloths to your towel rack as they have stripes of orange and are super chic thanks to DKNY. We're getting down to the back half of the month and normally, it's not a big deal but it changes when you're in the month of December. Today is a gorgeous day and you have a lot on your list heading to Exhale Spa to bring in some zen, going to brunch, doing some holiday shopping, planning out your attack list for next week (the last full week before Christmas) and the list goes on and on. Today you're making moves but it is the weekend and you want to bring in your inner child with you. This outfit is inspired by a few things that have taken place this week around the Kitten Lounge Loft - green, sparkles and T-Rex!

Sometimes when I've been putting a lot of things together, have been traveling, etc it's essential for me to have the ultra in comfort and I'm loving this T-Rex oversized shirt that also has a bit of sparkle and playful tones in it by French Connection. WIth such a casual outfit, I love popping a sexy edge into it with these caramel colored boots from Le Silla which are a winter essential! It's all about how you accessorize and I love this super cute and sparkly hat at Anthropologie that brings in another grey piece while also picking up the hues of the T-Rex shirt which is available! Keep it playful within Ice Watch as I like the silicone grey band. Finally, you're never dressed without a fab cocktail ring - this Alexis Bittar rose gold pyrite doublet stone is the perfect way to rock out this look!

So a few weeks ago one of my readers asked what was on my holliday wish list this year! With it being the last day of November and us heading into the last month of the year (can you believe it) - I had to give you a peek on a few items that I will be looking for under our tree this year. As you know, I'm always about accessories and having something fun to put on! So since this year has been quite a year to make for a great 2013, I am definitely looking for Santa to bring a few things my way that will come in handy! As many of you know I'm OBSESSED with Balenciaga from their city bags in various sizes to their cosmetic cases. I love them in a number of hues but this rose golden bag is perfect no matter what coast I'm on or what season! When it comes to rocking something fabulous and decadent, I think back to one of my favorite jewelry brands, Konstantino - I adore this blue topaz. When it comes to natural stones, I love this agate cuff from YSL which is perfect for casual days or my power meetings when I'm going over design concepts or an upcoming event that I am hosting.

Of course, I wear many hats so in addition to being an Accessories Expert, the founder of this site and other items - I am also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Shoe Week and having too many shoes is never a bad thing! I adore peep toe heels, over the knee boots and sandals (AND I have a thing for flip flops - Havaianas of course)! I'm fortunate that my work allows me to travel all over so I'm always buying summer clothing even when temperatures here in NYC are much colder! These K Jacques sandals are so fun as I love that there is the shocking pop of patent leather color and then calf hair - perfect for my kaftans and maxi dresses which are a tropical must! Last night ABC's American Music Awards took place last night celebrating 40 years of music as well as honoring this year's nominees! How can you not love Kelly Rowland's look on the red carpet? She hit the carpet rocking this Geometria inspired Naeem Khan piece from their 2012 collection! I love the simplicity with mirrored embellishments as well as the peek-a-boo effect that it brings. We'll update the rest of her look but we would accessorize with these fabulous finds!

As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Jimmy Choo and I love how these shoes have fabulous crystals on them as well as picking up elements from the dress. The crisscross pattern is the perfect way to pick up the details of the dress. Big bling should definitely incorporate the elements of this dress and Ippolita is a fabulous find. As I believe in mixing metals and want to continue with the Geometria look of this ensemble, how about including this diamond ring in rose gold from Bloomingdale's? Together, it's another way to make this look fabulous from top to bottom! I love that this outfit is the perfect bridge piece! Although I don't think it's as dressed up as a traditional red carpet dress, I do love that for this awards show where attendees have a wider range of expression, this look is perfect for the after parties that she will head out to when the ceremony is over! I love that there is a tribal element to this look and that this is a great look for her and as always she has a great natural glow to complete the look!

Who doesn't love glamming it up as they head to an event? Who doesn't love going out but when it comes to the end of the year, you want to do decadent things! I love the idea of doing Old New York date nights with Paul - a night at an intimate dinner spot, drinks at a lounge, and listening to jazz while hanging out at a cigar bar. Old World NYC dates mean that you have to enjoy looking the part! I love this dress (which you can pair with a wrap as the nights get cool) from Jenny Packham which hand painted on silk. With the whimsical layers, all that is needes if fab accessories beginning with this fabulous Alexis Bittar ring which has that fab mixed metal look, a stack of bangles in those fab neutral and dark rich hues by Ashley Pittman, this stunningly gorgeous Kara Ross python clutch and no heel shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti! I love that a dress like this can be worn in a number of seasons! More importantly, the light nature of this look can be warmed up with these fabulous accessories which adds texture and depth.

Right before NYFW, my sister got engaged to her fiance which gave me something amaing to add to my plate that never ends up being empty - Maid of Honor and Wedding Planner. As you know, any life event that I take on, comes here to Kitten Lounge. Prior to NYFW, Fridays contained content geared towards brides and now that Fashion Month is over, I'm pleased to share that Wed Wednesdays is dedicated to this exciting time. With an upcoming Oct wedding (next year of course), I was glad that Bridal Week took place over these past few days so that I could understand what my sister was interested in and allowed us to bond with our mom as well!

For me, no wedding search could start without going to Romona Keveza which not only does bridal but evening gowns. Above is a round up of my favorite looks that hit the runway at the St Regis Hotel over the weekend on Saturday! I have to say that we were able to enjoy seeing her affordable line - Legends, The Romona Keveza Collection and then the evening wear line. I love that there was a segment that was an ode to 007 - James Bond. Above there are dresses that I am obsessed with, such as the champagne/blush hue which is perfect for an engagement dinner, engagement party, etc. I also love (on the lower left hand corner) this ice blue (although it looked grey to me) dress. This gave me the idea that I definitely would want a wedding gown in this hue as I love grey. Of course our purpose was to see body styles that my sister liked - how could I not love the dress on the lower right which is definitely up her alley!

We only have 2 more days left of Paris Fashion Week and then Fashion Month will be closed for this season and we will be back to our normally scheduled programming. We're playing a bit of catch up as we have been covering a number of Fashion Week's, the launch of Shoe Week which took place during NYFW and more. We will also be sharing my recent trip to Jamaica to cover the Miss Global International Pageant just days after NYFW! With all of this going on, you may not have realized that Kitten Lounge has turned 5! It has been such a blessing to share my thoughts on fashion, insights to the industry and also what I have been up to. Many of you have seen me grow within the fashion industry from a model to someone who now runs a number of brands as well as represents them! We're kicking it off with Crest 3D Whitestrips which many of you know that I am a Brand Ambassador for but also a HUGE believer in as well. Last week upon my return from Jamaica, I was invited to an event with Crest that was hosted by Bride's Magazine (congrats to Keija Minor their new Editor in Chief) and Kleinfeld's Bridal Salon. What a fun way for brides and their friends to see what's out there from dresses, cakes, beverages and more! Being a newly crowned Maid of Honor for my sister, I definitely enjoyed learning about what's out there and loved that Crest ensures that on your special day and everyday that you look your best!

Here at Kitten Lounge, we have had such a love affair with Kerry Washington (actress on ABC's Scandal) as she always has impeccable style! Last night, she was a presenter at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards. I love that she looks amazing in this blush/nude gown and we'll keep you in the loop on how to get this look!

Felder Felder had a fab runway show on the first day of London Fadshion Week. I love this butter yellow hie which is perfect for the spring season! This is one of my fave looks from this show and how can you not love the heels (so Shoe Week appropriate).

We're definitely on the back end of NYFW and it seems like where the beginning of this season I was all about neutral hues, the back half has been about color! This Jenny Packham dress is not only decadent and sleek but I love how it is adorned. I love the little details that take your look to the next level!

Many people know that I am a huge fan of Aiisha Couture, I selected one dress that was a favorite of mine and made me think of everything that I love about Spring! This upcoming season incorporated a lot of blush and pink tones - I also love that this dress has sparkle as well as nude elements that allow your skin to show though! We paired this look with a pair of heels from Q by Pasquale! Each show had a fab DJ and this show which was a combined show had DJ Eloy who mixed fab music together as the girls walked the runway and then took additional pictures on our terrace! In future seasons, we would love to do an entire show surrounded around the looks of this fabulous luxury designer but am so pleased that we could provide a taste of it to our attendees!

We had a phenomenal day and evening at The Glass Houses as well as with a number of our sponsors such as Kiwaii Spring Water which is perfectly served at room temperature and is quite refreshing!
