So I am heading to the Dominican for vacation with Food Editor and boyfriend, Paul. I am super excited and the 5 weeks I have to wait, can't come soon enough. With that said, I want an entirely new wardrobe and of course, I still want to buy things throughout the rest of the season. Although the economy isn't that great, I love that you can get great deals. But a deal is truly best when it lasts!
When I first came to New York 6 years ago, I happened to be shopping with my mom for a trip I was taking to Florida. I needed a Little Black Dress as I was going to a wedding. I found the perfect LBD that was classy and yet, had little cut outs in the back. You can see this dress on the right side toolbar within my group of Flickr pictures. I wore this recently at a New Years event at the Rainbow Room. That was the best $39 dollars spent and it is my go to dress and travels well too!
So that brings us to the present! This dress was purchased at Mandee and if you don't have one in your hometown, you can get it online. Currently they are doing a 20% off promotion online if you use the word BAILOUT. I think this is a great way to add a lot of items into your wardrobe and you too may have a story about how something priced so cheaply ended up being a mainstay within your wardrobe!

Ah moving in with your Food Editor who also has quite an eye for design means that I don't have complete say so on what goes within our space! I love that we agree and disagree and we are definitely learning. So we have an interesting space that is upstairs and downstairs. We decided that upstairs, which is our living space, will be very Japanese like. Our bed is a beautiful platform bed that is known as Espresso in color. This is great since I love that the wood is black with a hint of brown but I find it difficult to find additonal wooden pieces. We also have gorgeous wood floors that are more a of a cherry stain so the problems continue. We need a bookcase badly and probably a few as we are piling up on books and interesting items. But what to get? Below are some shelves that I am thinking of and believe that this can add to our theme! This weekend we went to Pearl River and we bought our first sake set!

Today I'm at my sister's for a day of eating and kicking it off with the Macy's parade! So we don't have any huge beauty news today although you can begin some shopping and checking out amazing people at Kitten Lounge's Holiday Gift Guide sponsored by Dashing Diva! I am so thankful for all the people that are involved in making this blog and other projects related to this a success. Although everyone's names can't fit, obviously I'm proud of my boyfriend and Food Editor, Paul who brings food love here! I also love all the AMAZING PR firms, designers, boutiques and tipsters that bring information my way and to your screens. Without them, it would be very difficult to provide the quality of material that you guys deserve. Although we are almost closing the books for this year, I love that this season has more events and parties and I am pleased to be one of the founders along with Emily, Melissa and Jennifer for Girl Geek Dinners NYC which makes it debut next week with our first event! I am also excited to unveil the 25 Days of Holiday Glam soon and many more things that we can enjoy now so that you can be amazed by what next year will bring. For now, you will see me on and off Twitter and feel free to @Cocoabebe me as well! Have an amazing Thanksgiving with you and yours!
