Swoonfest Saturdays ~ We Love This Duo
The 70th Annual Golden Globes airs tomorrow on NBC at 8pm EST and of course, we'll be tweeting away about all of the fabulous red carpet fashion starting at 5pm EST as we follow along watching E!'s Live From the Red Carpet! In addition, we love that the femme, fabulous and funny duo - Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be hosting this awards show! Who are you excited to see on the red carpet tomorrow and who are you looking to take a statue home! We'll also let you know who you're fave stars were wearing from the dazzling gowns to the accessories of course!

Swoonfest Saturdays: Bridal Week SS 2012/Fall 2012 ~ Romona Keveza Collection
What a day, my favorite evening and bridalwear designer had two phenomenal shows today. Romona Keveza is passionate about her designs, use of fabrics as well as fab tailoring! This morning, my mom and I headed to the St Regis Hotel on the 2nd floor in the library to see the couture collection for Spring/Summer 2012, which was stunning and had strong influence from Brigitte Bardot who is phenomenal! There were a number of gowns that I knew I wanted to wear at red carpet events as well as could see myself wearing a number of the bridal gowns. As always, I have a fab clip of video footage that shows the final runway walk of this show. You can also see members of Kleinfeld - Mara Urshel, the co-founder of Kleinfeld as well as Randi Fenoli from the same salon who also has their own show on TLC - Say Yes to the Dress. There is such a touching moment in the video where she walks out with the model and gives her flowers to her mother - so sweet!
Later on in the afternoon we enjoyed Legends by Romona Keveza for Fall 2012 with commentary by Romona herself at the Dior Suite within the St Regis Hotel! She also brought in some of the items from the couture collection to speak about them. I loved being able to ask questions and drool over a number of pieces as well as hearing about those items that had recently been on the runway. The image above comes from the couture collection but we also got to see the Tiffany Blue dress up close and personal. Below are a number of amazing videos from this section of the day and you'll also find out how some of the bridal traditions that we hold today were derived from reasons that you would not associate with them. In addition, one of the models actually wore the dress that she presented to us for her own wedding; moreover, she shared her thoughts on the dress and definitely embraced how amazing she looked!

Swoonfest Saturdays ~ Bridal Week Begins
It's official, today we kick off Bridal Week! I'm beyond thrilled for next weekend as I will be viewing a number of shows from Romona Keveza at the St Regis Hotel. For the rest of the month, I'll share some fab items that you should think about for your big day as well as for the rest of your wedding party. I've got the scoop on fab gowns, accessories, his attire, beauty items and so much more! In tweets leading up to today, people have been asking why Kitten Lounge is going to be chatting about this glam topic. For one, I love bridal and have so many friends that are in this phase of their life. I know that one day, I will join the ranks of brides to be so I thought it would be great to share with you what my fave styles are. I love period pieces to be honest and the dresses above are from
renowned fashion stylist and creative director of The Vintage Wedding Dress Company, Charlie Brear, who created a collection that showcases the wedding dress by various Decades. I am a huge fan of the 20's (on the left) which allowed lower waist lines and plunging necklines. I love that headbands became an acceptable alternative to veils.On the right, this dress shows the 30's which is an era of femininity and glamour. This curve loving dress allowed for higher waist lines and a flowy essence to it.

Fashionable Fridays: Bridal Fashion Week ~ Romona Keveza
Bridal Fashion Week came earlier this week and it was such an amazing time! Now of course, I attended Romona Keveza's show at the St Regis in the Penthouse Suite. We were introduced to a number of gowns from her couture collection, her Legends collection and her evening gowns. There is nothing like sipping a cup of tea and seeing phenomenal gowns paraded in front of you. I have to say that my biggest take away is that a hint of color within bridal gowns is definitely something that I hope to see more of. If I were to walk down the aisle at this moment, color would definitely be on my list!
