Last week I found myself invited to an amazing barbecue with Trapiche Wines which is an Argentinian series of wines. Being a girl that is usually all about whites, I was intrigued to be introduced to various Malbecs. In addition, they paired everything with an American style barbecue, courtesy of Hill Country BBQ (loved the brisket, chicken and the cornbread) at the fab space of Frederick Wildman! What makes Argentinian wines so amazing and rich - it's climate, the love and the fact that it goes so well with many of the things that we enjoy eating. I'll also note that although I enjoyed their reds very much, the white wine I had prior to our tasting was outstanding as well! Of course, we can't wait to organize a Kitten Lounge trip to visit this vineyard in March during the harvest season as we're told that this is the best time to go!
