Mingling Mondays ~ What Would Meryl Streep, Amy Adams & Nora Ephron Cook?

So everyone is talking about the movie Julie & Julia which opened this past Fri! I haven't seen it; however, I finished 'My Life in Paris', Julia Child's memoir on her time in the city that began her culinary interests and am currently reading 'Julie & Julia'. When I finish this book, I will run out to watch the movie. This Tues, Glamour' September issue hits newstands and one of their stories is includes recipes from Meryl Streep (she plays Julia) and Amy Adams (who plays Julie) and Nora Ephron! It's amazing to hear their thoughts on cooking and fortunately, you can read: Hollywood Cooking: Julia Child is Making You Dinner. You'll definitely want to check this out and you may feel that you want to add these recipes to your list as well!

When I'm not running around the city, I love my weekends when I'm hanging out at our beach house in Long Beach! That means wearing lounging clothes throughout the day (you know that I love Victoria's Secret and their Pink collection and this long tank is perfect), getting some reading done (Julie & Julia looks like such a great movie that I want to read the book first) and to enjoy some amazing beverages. These glasses are from CB2 and are in a set of 6 with these super cute vintage labels! Although it's definitely hot out there, in Long Beach there is always a bit of wind (and I'm always on the balcony) so having a hoodie is an essential for the residents of our beach village - one again, it has to be Pink. So with the weekend around the corner, I think that we all need to find a way to enjoy our days off in the most relaxing way possible!
