We love all the looks that hit the stage when it comes to Lakme Fashion Week. On Day 5, we became obsessed with Archana Kochhar who has dramatic looks, prints and whimsy combined! In addition, Sameera Reddy, a Bollywood actress rocked a gorgeous cobalt, black and white look on the runway.

Lakme Fashion Week brought a slew of designers to its 4th day of shows and being a huge fan of Shivan and Narresh, I had to share a few of my favorite images. We also love the attendees including Indian Bollywood actress Dipannita Sharma and Sangita Bijlani.

Day 3 kicked off at Lakme Fashion Week with a number of traditional pieces hitting the runway with such designers as Deepika Govind and Vaishali S. Stay looped in with all looks from today as well as the previous days!

Lakme Fashion Week continues and I'm always a fan of white! It such a crisp color and on top that, I love that when you accent it with other hues it looks even better! To that end, I enjoyed seeing Suhani Pittie and Nimish Shah which showcased this hue within their shows. Of course with Sunday being our decor editions, I thought about how you could bring this into your home.

I like the idea of having at least one piece being completely white such as this fab cushoined couch available at Horchow. This white and black pillow sham is the perfect accent by Lauren by Ralph Lauren. I'm also obsessed with this fabulous mosaic lamp at Horchow which also has a stark white crisp lampshade which is piped in an accent color. This footstool by Ballard Designs is a must without a doubt! Since you have to have a sense of time, this minimalist Dot Clock by Areaware is the perfect item to pop into your living or sitting room.

I love that everyday someone is hitting a runway and Lakme Fashion Week has been one of my favorites over a number of years. I love the merge of traditional and new fashions that come together with some of my favorite designers. Take a peek at some of the items that hit the runway over the past few days! Shivan and Narresh has a phenomenal look that graced the runway in one of the most popular trends of the past few seasons - color blocking! I love the ornate traditional look presented by Vikram Phadnis and the fabric has such texture. Amy Jackson, British model turned actress struts down the runway in Bhairavi Jaikishan (this stunning woman was her muse) which is yet another gorgeous piece! Bollywood actress, Zoa Morani rocks the very popular tangerine/clementine hue by Payal Kothri and I'm loving this citrusy look of Pia Pauro. Lakme Fashion Week began Aug 16th and runs through Aug 16th with a focus on winter/fall and the stage is set at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, India. Over the past few weeks we have been looking at a number of Fashion Shows in the past as we are heading closer and closer to NY Fashion Week here in Lincoln Center. With all the fun that happens when we look back to fashion shows past, it's nice to get into the present. In Mumbai, such Indian Designer as Nikhil Thampi, Jatin Varma, Rina Dhaka, Payal Singhal, J J Vallaya - just to name a few!
