I never liked carrying an additional bag before I came to NY. I somehow found a way to bring everything in one bag. Now I always have a bag to tote around items and many times I want a cute bag like the ones above when I'm out and about (I'll opt for it in lieu of having my purse during the summers)! This week, we have focused on various eco options that are available and since today is officially Earth Day, why stop when you're on a roll? Today, I was inspired my boyfriend, Paul (and Food Editor on this site), who wondered how he could get his hands on an eco bag! Being a former surfer, one who enjoys the ocean and someone who believes in Farmer's Markets - I thought I would help him out! In addition, yesterday, I was in Forever 21 and saw the 'Go Green Tote'. I love that whether you're at Forever 21 or Whole Foods, there are extremely affordable totes that help you save the Earth (oh yes your $1 goes far) and in many cases, you can get a discount of sorts at various stores for reusing your bags! Of course, there are various companies making totes that are nearly $100 as well so there are tons of options. I should have purchased the Go Green Tote; however, I have to say that my favorite is the Cindy Kirk Recycle Pattern Green bag that is available on Piperlime.

Sometimes I get up with a look that I want to wear and somehow between running out of the shower and looking in my closet, the outfits don't always seem to translate as well as they seemed in my mind. Sometimes that super snazzy outfit that had that great pop factor, can be replaced by much simpler pieces that allow the accessories to totally carry the outfit. I love the fact that I can wear a cute tank, t-shirt or tunic with a pair of denim of varying washes and looks. It is important to know what accessories are an essential so that you never have to wonder what looks best when you head out of the house. What are the basic pieces? Check out our spread! I love boots! I love i them in the winter and when you hit those long parts where you wonder if you can take another one of those grey days, there is solace in knowing that you have cute footwear! I am such a fan of these boots as it allows you to rock a number of looks by wearing these. Each one is good whether you're going for a sassy mood like the Magdalena, a casual and comfortable style as in the Rampo Boots or something that shows you kick ass and take names as in the Botkier boot! Either way there are so many fun options available that you'll be excited to know what look you're going for.
