Snazzy Sunday: Scaffolding Sale at Idlewild Books

I love going away for the weekend and yet it leaves you working super hard before you leave and then playing catch up once you get back! With that being said and with Thanksgiving being days away and counting, I am finishing up the holiday guide (yes I know some people were "left out" but it was moreso an issue of having so many responses and keeping the formats going) and also prepping for other goodies for this year and slight format changes for next year. Paul and I had an amazing time this weekend in that we hung out and we got to talk about where we are going with projects that are soon to be revealed. In addition, today there is a great sale going on at Idlewild Bookstore in Union Square, if you're in the area you need to go. Idlewild Books is a travel related bookstore which has amazing gifts. Oh boy today is a big day! By 10am I will be on the road heading to Skytop Lodge Resort for the Sweets Weekend in the Poconos! I think I need to get Twit Pic on my Blackberry so that I can keep you guys updated but I am unsure about the whole availability to blog from there. Treasure Tuesdays: Ralph Lauren Knows Pup Couture

I am definitely obsessed with Yorkie's and making sure that mine will be super cute once I get it. I got a link for Ralph Lauren's pup collection and I am in love. Of course I emailed my sister and said that I would pick her up a cute shirt for Jimmy Choo! I love that they are having a great sale so how could you not? Even if your pup couldn't stand wearing clothing it would make a cute one time picture at the very least. I love that this polo shirt is so cute and could so see my bf wearing a Polo to match with our puppy when we get him. Now, when it comes to my personal favorite that is apart of Ralph's collection (don't you love that we are on a first name basis - or at least I am), I like to think of when the little guy is in the cold when he needs to visit the outside facilities to do his business!

I am a huge fan of grey and I love that I won't have to fight with the sweatshirt to feed his leash through as this has a discreet hole that it can be fed through. This is such a sporty little look and works well with my hoodie and yoga pants! Once again, you should definitely guage whether your puppy would actually like this look but if he does, this would be the cutest thing ever! I am so getting the sweatshirt in hopes that my puppy will enjoy it and if not at least I will have something super cute to look at! I think I enjoy all the details that are put into it the most!

This week's pic of Jimmy Choo is when he was a little smaller but definitely just as spunky now as he was back then! How cute is he - how funny that this was in May and already he looks so different! I think that JC could be a Doggie model he definitely has a little attitude!

Treasure Tuesdays: Puppy Deserves a Sample Sale

So it seems like my sister's dog, Jimmy Choo, gets cuter everyday and apparently runs through toys and bags like none other! This is all good stuff to know so that I can start stocking up now for when I get a Yorkie of my own! One of the things she always talks about is how he REALLY loves his toys (thus always buying new ones) and how a carrier is absolutely essential and he grows out of them too. I like to think that a carrier is to a puppy what shoes are to us. When we were growing up we had to keep buying new ones since we kept growing out of them and now we buy new ones for all our moods and just to fit our lifestyle in general! So if we go shopping for our needs, then our puppies have to be outfitted as well without any second thoughts! I am so glad that there are others that share this belief as well and fortunately there is a sample sale coming up for your pooch!
