Yes there are days when I run to the comfort of Starbucks as I can enjoy a green tea, soak up the wifi and work like I have a million deadlines that must be done in an instant. I could spend all days at Starbucks as hearing other people in the background reminds me of my days in college whether I was working from the dorm or the library. Hearing other people keeps me motivated. Whether I'm at my favorite spot all day or just a chunk, I know that in many cases I will be out and about at an event or hanging out with friends. Often, I can put my laptop in this bag along with my bare necessities and have been seen wearing this as my bag for the day. On such occasions, I rock my love of purple with an Agate Cuff and super cute glasses that have a slight purple hue! I love this season now that the election is over and we have solidified our leadership, we can now think about our attire for the next few weeks and beyond. Yes summer is coming to an end but that doesn't mean that the parties dry up! In fact there are more functions and we need to be prepared while also being economical. I am a huge fan of Ella Moss and I love this Black Label Samantha One Shoulder Dress (available in black and also in a regal plum). This has the perfect amount of sass that you would want to take to a final summer house party, a release of a product or anything that means you need to look amazing. The dress is so easy that you need to only think of what heels and what your clutch will look like. If it's a bit chilly, you may want to think of a wrap but other then that you're ready to go! I love that this dress is on sale and looks super cute as well. My entire department is not decked out in Ikea; however, there are certain elements that I am a fan of. This table top with legs isapart o f the Vika collection. My favorite element of this table top is the clear glass! This so essential for me as a designer when I am tracing. I can place light under the glass and trace my items easily. There is a bit of a ledge across the top that you can use to keep your utensils and other instruments in their place and still accessible!This table is perfect since it can remain flat;moreover, you can also tilt and adjust this as necessary. Growing up, I had a drafting table and this is something that could come in handy for architects and designers alike. The wooden legs are perfect for extra storage as well. What a great way to add this in to your home office!

I love tea! I am a huge fan! From visiting some of my tea spots (Alice's Tea Cup or Teany) to going to great places to purchasing my own blends, Tavalon - tea is a great way to enjoy the day or to begin it. When I'm not in the office and am at home, I love brewing tea. This teapot from Macy's is my favorite and is one on my list for future gifting. I love that it reminds me of a teahouse of some sort. I love the bamboo handle and it can be used on the stove as well. I love that this pot has such a stylish look and looks well no matter what decor you're attempting within your home. With a variety of teapots to consider, this is a great site to start from! Macy's has tea pots or kettles from a variety of designers (also check out Martha Stewarts Collection as well since she has her line carried here as well).
