Trendy Thursdays ~ TV Beauty Takeaways
When I go on air, I have the items that I never do without whether I'm traveling or not. When I get the chance to work with new makeup artists, I leave with a takeaway of items that need to be within my arsenal of beauty items. Here is a portion of my checklist that goes with me!
The Clarisonic is a must and I have 2! My yellow one stays in my travel beauty bag and is perfect to keep my face clean and clear. This way my larger Clarisonic that works on your face and body can stay at home. I am also a HUGE fan in Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorne Hydrating Serum which is perfect to put on your face after you have cleaned it with your favorite cleanser. I'm also loving Essie Good to Go Clear Nail Coat is always nice to put on your nail to make it shine even when your nails are done. Who doesn't love a glossy nail when you're on TV?
Now during this trip, I came upon items that are new to me! When I was on HSN, I fell in love with a lip combo that looked awesome! I love M.A.C. Lip Pencil in Plum that lines and fills in the lip entirely.On top, she had Stila Lip Glaze Gloss in Sugar Plum. I have had this in my closet for awhile but used it on this trip, Fresh Brown Sugar Affair Set has the polish that exfoliates your skin, the lotion which smells phenomenal and when you're not rocking gloss, how about that awesome light tint hue that also makes your lips look amazing. Many of you know that I love Zoya's Indigo but when I couldn't get it - I fell for Butter London in Big Smoke which has that great dark blue, elements of black and glittery hues. I love being introduced to new items and getting to play with beauty.

What a day today will be! Meetings, lunch, putting out fires and then going to one of a few Halloween parties! This season, I will be going as myself with fab outfits and fun accessories! When it comes to looking amazing, it's about prepping as well as soothing your skin after you have placed makeup to enjoy a night out! Trendy Thursdays ~ Sibu Beauty is a Fab Assistant
I am obsessed with Sibu Beauty for a number of reasons. I love how soft it makes my skin feel and it's pretty soft as it is! I love that the Sea Buckthorne Berry is not only good for the skin but also for the body! But I also love the fact that they have supplements that make your skin, nails, etc look amazing. I have seen a boost in my energy which is much needed around this time of year (seeing that we're going into tradeshow season, Fashion Week and so much more). Above is a fun video of how Sibu Beauty can add a little pep into your step for sure!
If you have yet to hear about this brand beyond this site, no worries as they have just partnered with Hachette Filipacchi Media so you can expect to see them in many of their marketing efforts which is absolutely amazing. I will continue to share what I love about Shibu so stay tuned as I continue taking the supplements and incorporating this into my daily beauty routine.

Trendy Thursdays ~ I Heart Sibu Beauty
I love using products that not only feel good but are good for you! There are so many super fruits out there but the Sea Buckthorn Berry which is harvested by Tibetan villagers in the Himalayan Mountains and is used in Sibu Beauty's product line is one that we should all know a little more about! The fruit is packed with Omegas 3, 6, 9 and is a rich source of Omega 7 as well and is a bright orange color. It is known to assist in improving hair, nail and skin/tone texture as well as digestive wellness and promoting healthy aging. As a brand, Sibu Beauty uses sea buckthorn as a 100% natural product that is free of preservatives, parabens and cruelty free. There isn't any wheat, gluten, sodium, yeast etc in it and it is free trade as well. Found in various stores, your best bet is Whole Foods and GNC which are in a number of locations as well as the Sibu Beauty website as well.
I have enjoyed using the soap and the facial cream which has so many nutrients that are good for you. I'd suggest reading the site to find out about all the benefits you can receive from using the product and with an extensive line, you'll find that whether you're using the skincare or enjoying the supplements and tablets, it's perfect to keep you going and to maintain your general health!
