Snazzy Sundays ~ Safe Sun

Tomorrow is Melanoma Monday and you can support this cause by rocking orange to ensure that people know that they must properly protect their skin from harmful rays that are much stronger then they have been for centuries! Since orange is the color of the day, we're showing how you can also include it within your rooftop decor! Roll over the above images so that you can see how you can include this within your rooftop spaces which is perfect for a party, lunch and more. In addition, good suncare means taking care of your skin, this Neutrogena Body Mist Sunscreen is an essential to take with you as wearing a spray can feel easier to apply then to put it on as a cream.

Snazzy Sundays: Charleston Edition ~ Bring On the Foodie

I ended the week in Charleston, South Carolina as one of Shoe Week's clients were in need of our styling services for their inclusion within Charleston Fashion Week. Due to a number of things going on, I couldn't be there for an extended period so with less than 24 hours in a town that I had heard quite a bit about (once upon a time, I worked at Lacoste in the corporate headquarters as an Assistant to the Sr VP and at that time, our Chairman and CEO Bob Siegel was from Charleston and lived there while also spending half his week in NYC), I wanted to take in as much as I could. After settling into my hotel, I hit King St to check out stores, shops and of course, I had a checklist of items that I wanted to hit!

I love the quaint streets and the mix of some of my fave stores such as Williams Sonoma, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie etc with local shops such as Dumas and Sons. Since I hadn't eaten, lunch sent me to Boone's Bar where I checked off a Firefly Vodka cocktail - their Firefly Mojito was phenomenal. I love that this bar and restaurant had sports on, exposed brick and was excellent for people watching. With food being made to order, it was a little wait time but not by much and was so worth it when enjoying their Brie burger which also included mushrooms and some onions - so juicy.

After lunch and site seeing, I was off to Marion Square, the site of Charleston Fashion Week. With a flurry of shows, last minute run throughs and seeing how shoes provided by United Nude would look like with the perfect look from Expatriate Clothing, it was time to head back to my hotel (Holiday Inn, Historic Downtown) and to go to their restaurant, The Meeting Room. My dinner consisted of Shrimp and Grits with Andouille Sausage - such an amazing grouping of flavors as I love grits and can eat them in their savory state or sweet! I paired this with Fried Oysters which sat on a bed of diced vinegar green tomatoes! My drink was a Days Gone By which included Bourbon (everyone knows that this is one of my favorite spirits), RC Cola and a few other items mixed in. Most importantly, it was garnished with a Moonpie Wedge! I believe it had an orange flavor but it complimented the drink well and was the perfect item to complete this meal!

There will be a full recap on the show that I styled as well as the designer but for now, I'm definitely thinking that going back for their Wine and Food Festival next year would be a great idea!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Nothing But Good

Now I have been a fan of yogurt for a number of years as it's a great source of a number of vitamins and goodies that you need in your system. I love that it's a snack that begs to be mixed in with other items as well as it can be used in baking a number of items for a healthy alternative! On Super Bowl Sunday this year as I was waiting for the much anticipated Beyonce half time show, I heard Macy Gray singing and realized that it was included within the Chobani commercial. It was such a clean and simple add that showcased how the Chobani aesthetic works into a well rounded and happy lifestyle!

Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I was on Twitter and heard about Chocolate and Pistachio as a Chobani flavor. I assumed that it was an offering to check out at my local Whole Foods until I realized that there was a store! I had no idea but thankfully, the dots were connected and after a few emails it was unveiled to me that Chobani Soho is in fact a real place and one where you can enjoy sweer and savory blends! Roll over the image to see what I sampled last week as well as check out my two faves (both happening to be seasonal offerings (although you can get these cards that tell you how to make it at home when it's no longer offered at the store) - Smoked Salmon + Dill as well as Grapefruit + Mint. It was such an amazing experience and with two sizes (half portion - $4; full portion - $5.50), this is a great way to use it as a meal, snack or whatever you need to get through the day. In addition, I love that you can keep the glass containers or recycle them (take .25 towards your next purchase) and of course you can buy the premade items that may not have made it to where you purchase Chobani.

Stay in the loop with what's going on with Chobani via Twitter with the brand's account, @Chobani and their only store which is right here in NYC @ChobaniSoho.

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ Kristin Chenoweth & Kelly Rowland

Now tonight was an interesting night! I was watching E Red Carpet (the pre show to the pre show and Live From the Red Carpet) as I do every season, here we livestreamed the AP's coverage on the red carpet and then once it hit 7:30pm I switched over to ABC for their last minute coverage. Two of ABC's hosts are on my list for amazing dresses - Kristin Chenoweth (who will perform later on this evening to close the show out) and Kelly Rowland. Kelly stunned in Donna Karan. As more information comes out this post will be updated!

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ Helen Hunt

I love Helen Hunt as an actress and to be honest, rarely have I ever considered to include her in my actresses of note for appearing on a red carpet! But all of that ended today as she looked AMAZING in this strapless navy dress. The real clincher was that this gorgeous dress is done by none other than H&M Couture! This dress not only had a train but is green (yes sustainable and is silk satin) as well as she rocked it with $700,000 worth of jewels by Martin Katz - talk about high low fashion! Unfortunately, this dress will not be found in stores as it is custom and made specifically for Helen Hunt; however, the fashion brand has launched an eco-friendly initiative with Global Green.

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ Fan Bingbing

On our site Kitten Lounge, the Oscars red carpet was livestreamed thanks to AP via Rightster! Fan Bingbing stunned in this fabulous Marchesa dress which just came off of NYFW's Fall 2013 runways but a mere few days ago There is so much drama in this dress and yet Fan's demure personality is a pleasant contrast!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Accented Heels Inspire Decor

As I always say, you never know when inspiration strikes and mine came with this fabulous pair of Gianmarco Lorenzi Double Platform Heels (trademark of this fabulous designer) with exposed zipper detailing within the exposed platform. The detailing of this black shoe allowed me to carry this over into great decor options that can add some pop throughout your home!

In the bathroom, add details such as this black and white Legacy Home Linea Graphic Shower Curtain which has a nice architectural feel. Moving into the bedroom, flatsheets by Natori are another classic with a twist as they have a Ming theme on them. Pair this with bedding by Ralph Lauren as it's a classic that never goes out of style.

Moving into the kitchen, I am a huge fan of Mavea as we use this throughout the day, unlike my Penguin which turns my water into seltzer, this container purifies water and can hold large amounts. Paul and I drink from this everyday and many times, my water filters here before being used for my Penguin or Breville (tea maker that I am also obsessed with). In addition, I love fun dessert plates as these are perfect when you're having something sweet or you want to eat from a smaller plate, I love these Vagabond Vintage Black and White plates.

Moving into the living room or wherever you choose to relax in, I think having a Media Cabinet is a must! You can store your media in here OR it's great in your office if you want to store your accessories which is also another fun way to display as well as organize them. Add fun pillows to your space from Horchow which has visually appealing graphics. Finally, we're always charging our tech everywhere and sometimes you just want to talk with others on a phone (you know the ones we grew up on), so these Bluetooth Handset and Charging Stations available in black and white is perfect and adds a bit of pop in your decor!

Snazzy Sundays ~ The Big Game

Being from Indiana originally, I love sports in general and the Super Bowl is always one of my favorites to watch regardless of whether my team made it or not! In the past10+ years of me living in NYC, it also marks the proximity of New York Fashion Week for the presentation of Fall/Winter! But today, it's all about wings, potato salad, bevvies and more! Throughout today, I will be tweeting about a number of Super Bowl items so make sure to follow, @KittenLounge as well as @Cocoabebe. I can't wait to see what commercials are going to be our new faves and how the half time show will be (of course also seeing the winners of the game).

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ SAG Awards Julie Bowen

I love when stars rock fabulous looks and it seems so true to their personal image! Julie Bowen of ABC's Modern Family looked amazing in Johanna Johnson in a black leather gown (on trend) with embellished cap sleeves from their Spring Summer 2013 Red Carpet Collection. I'm obsessed with this designer and I always love when looks that hit the runway, make it onto the red carpet. Although I love how it looked when it was presented, I do like how Julie made it her own. As always, I let you know how you can get the beauty look as this is perfect for NYFW, Valentine's Day or anytime you want to step it up! All of these items can be obtained at Avon as you know I love sharing finds from here as I am a Brand Ambassador for the brand. As more updates of this look are known, this post will be updated.

Makeup artist Heather Currie complemented Julie’s stunning sultry black leather dress with a subtly sexy cat eye and a soft, romantic pink lip. Here are Heather's steps to get the look:

Face

Currie kept Julie’s skin looking dewy and fresh by applying Avon Be Blushed Cheek Color in Powder Pink on the apples of her cheeks.

Eyes

Currie used Avon Irresistibly Sexy Eyeshadow Palette in Bombshell to bring depth and smokiness to Julie’s eyes and add a little shimmer to pick up the glimmer on the jewel's on Julie's dress.

The inner rims of Julie's eyes were lined with Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner in Cosmic Brown, and the tops of her eyelids with Avon Ultra Luxury Eyeliner in Black. She then smudged the black liner into Julie’s eyeshadow to create a subtle cat eye and finished the look with a coat of black Mascara.

Lip

In order to create a romantic lip that would complete Julie’s look, Currie swiped two coats of Avon's NEW Totally Kissable lipstick in Lovey Dovey on Julie’s lips. No gloss was used in order to keep the lip color soft and rich at the same time.

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ SAG Awards Kate Flannery

Now with all the looks pouring in from the red carpet of the SAG Awards, we had to share this look! Kitten Lounge always shares what we love but we have to give a special post on this look not only because it's from a designer that I have been honored to wear and always love seeing, but I have never seen this star look more stunning than in this look! From the dress, hair and makeup, this is such a perfect look for her and so on trend!

Kate Flannery of NBC's The Office, looked absolutely phenomenal in Theia Couture (from the Fall 2012 collection)! This stunning dress is everything that a girl can love, hits curves in all the right places and is full of sparkle! As updates come in, we'll let you know about other portions of her look and how fab her hubby Chris looks!

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ SAG Awards Elisabeth Moss

With the red carpet wrapping and the SAG Awards on their way to honoring actors by actors, I had to share a fab look from one of the attendees hitting the red carpet! You too can get this fabulous look as well since we're sharing how AMC's Mad Men (which is airing its 6th season, 2 hour premier on April 7th) Elisabeth Moss obtained the look. She wore a stunning Dolce & Gabbana and accessorized it with $1M earrings from Forever Mark and Jimmy Choo heels and clutch.

mark Makeup Artist Jamie Greenberg worked with Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss for the SAG Awards. Jamie and Elisabeth wanted to keep the look down to earth with a chic French street touch.

Face:

Started with mark’s Min-A-Real Cream to Powder Foundation and layered on mark’s Touch and Glow in Warm Glow on the cheeks with a swipe of mark’s Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Cheeky. Set the look with mark’s Set Things Right Loose Powder.

Eyes:

Started with mark’s Please Hold Eye Primer as a base. Used i-mark in Luv Struck in the crease then blended in the black shade in mark’s Drama Case Eye Shadow and Liner Palette on the lash line.

She added i-mark Metallic in Lava on the lid and finished the lash line with mark’s What A Line Felt Tip Eyeliner in Twilight. Applied false eyelashes and two coats of mark’s Scandalash Mascara in Blacklash and filled in the lower lash line with mark’s No Place to Run Longwear Eyeliner in Jet set. Finished the eyes with one coat of Scandalash Mascara in Blacklash on the lower lashes.

Lips:

mark’s Lipclick in Baby Luv

Body:

mark’s Jewel Body Cream

UPDATE Love this video with Jamie showing us how she created her look. In addition, I love that we get to see her face prepped as well as her hair team, it's always fun to check things out behind the scenes.

Snazzy Sundays ~ Decor Gold

Although gold is not a color people see me wearing in my outfits, it is a color that I love seeing within decor options! I'm inspired by this fab art deco gold and emerald bracelet from Lucas Jack in terms of how to bring this within your home office. This wing tipped chair is the perfect way to establish your work space and of course work from this fab olive brand chest that is ornate.

Now it's all about the accents and the need to accessorize your space on another level. I love this leather Moroccan gold ottoman which can be used to prop your feet as well as to have extra seating space. This gold pillow is also a great choice with its ruching.

When the lighting's right you can get a number of items done and you never know when inspiration strikes so having this Antoinette mirror across the way to catch it is definitely encouraged.

Finally, feel like a queen by popping in emerald to the look whether it's your mug, toasting glass. Finally, even when you're working hard, your nourishment should still be presented in a fabulous way - like this Williams Sonoma fabulous platter which is made out of stone and accented by silver (not gold but I love mixing metal)!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Your Own Decor Escape

It's the long Martin Luther King Jr weekend and inaugural weekend as well! For many, there will be no work on Monday so it's a great time to not only think about freedom in general and how far we have come but also getting some work done whether it's setting up your business, prepping for NYFW, catching some shows, and more. I am a multi-tasker in all that I do and I do a lot of work from the comfort of a number of chairs and couches while I have my shows (E!, Bravo, WE, Style and more in the background). It's so important that your workspace whether you work from home or in an office, you need to have a zen space as we work hard but should do so comfortably. As you know, I'm a huge fan of grey and like to bring it into my wardrobe as well in to my decor.

It's all about the chair, I love a great leather one that I can work upright in as well as to curl up in and this one available at Neiman Marcus is perfect. This retailer has a number of other great finds including this Giorgio Armani weekender in embossed croco. I love that it's such a fabulous traveling companion that it's perfect to accessorize your space with this great piece which ensures you're always ready to travel.

Pop in some color with this fun Chaps Seychelles pillow from Kohl's which has a nice worn look to it. Kohl's also has a coffee table from Sonoma Life + Style with storage baskets which is perfect in the home office. For additional storage which also serves as an ottoman, is from Martha Stewart. Continue popping in other grey elements with a cashmere throw from Design Within Reach which has a fab herringbone pattern. Curl up under this lamp from Ylighting with your tablet that is inside this Tod's iPad case. While sitting in my zen space, I enjoy drinking a lot of tea and having it with this Jonathan Adler cup is a perfect way to plug through your day. Finally, it's about the smaller details such as a vase form Venini which is perfect for your arrangements as well as this box which is great for odds and ends (I put my jewelry in them as I think it's essential to have a jewelry box to put your items in in every room) from Ethan Allen.

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ Golden Globes Rosie Huntington Whitley

Of course our coverage continues, Rosie Huntington Whitley looked fabulous at the 70th Golden Globe Awards as she rocked Saint Laurent with a slit, a belted cinched waist and amazing ruffles with a bit of beading. Her look was glammed to another level with Dana Rebecca Designs slender white gold stacked rings to add a bit of bling! I'm obsessed with her Sophia Ryan Ring and Bridal Shared Prong Eternity Band.

As is true with creating the perfect look, it's essential that you have a number of beauty goodies and many times you will cross a number of brands in order to get that perfect look! You can create this look as well as an ode to Modern Hollywood Glam:

Face & Cheeks: "I dusted Burberry’s Warm Glow Summer Glow no.4 Bronzer on Rosie’s cheekbones and forehead for a healthy, fresh glow. Rosie is so incredibly gorgeous and a bit of sun-kissed glow really suits her."

Foundation: Burberry Velvet Foundation “Trench no. 207”

Concealer: Laura Mercier Secret Concealer #3

Luminizer: Benefit “Sun Beam”

Powder: Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre #30

Eyes:

“I kept Rosie’s eyes very simple; a soft wash of neutral color and a bit of definition in the socket. I elongated the eye with a brown pencil, and softened the line with mark I-Mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Tabac. I love using brown because it’s so sexy but maintains a soft look. Next, I applied two coats of mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara in Black to Rosie’s top lashes and one coat of mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara in Brown/Black to her bottom lashes. I groomed her brows using Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash, lightly sculpting them with pencil to create the perfect frame for her face.”

Eye Shadows: Burberry “Trench no. 2” and Burberry “Almond no. 6”

Eyeliner: Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in “brown Copper”

Lips:

“I applied mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Cha Cha for a gorgeous Hollywood finish. A red lip creams glamour, but I matted down the finish and made the edges soft and undefined, patting it on with my finger for a less overpowering look.”

Snazzy Sundays: Awards Season 2013 ~ Golden Globes Claire Danes

Versace was the perfect dress for Homeland's Claire Danes to wear she hit the red carpet of the 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards! We also love her earrings from Joanna Laura Constantine which are on the geometria trend. Claire's smoulder look was phenomenal thanks to one of my fave beauty brands, Laura Mercier. We have the scoop on how you can get it, so read on!

Matin Maulawizada, Global Artistry Director for Laura Mercier, created a “sexy, fun look” for the starlet and gives you some of his comments on creating it.

EYES: Maulawizada determined that a sultry, smoky eye would perfectly complement the star’s glamorous, red Versace dress. “I decided to go with a smoky eye and not a red lip since the dress was so red,” stated Maulawizada.

• Maulawizada accomplished this by applying Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Liner in Black ($22) on Danes’ top lids and under her eyes “to create depth and shape.”

• Next he applied Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner in Black Ebony ($22) with Laura Mercier Flat Eye Liner Brush ($25) to “deepen the lash line.” He then rimmed the inside of the eyes using Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Gold ($20) to “intensify the depth and to create a contrast with Claire’s blue eyes.”

• Maulawizada added the final touch of glamour by applying multiple coats of Laura Mercier Faux Lash Mascara ($24) to Claire’s upper lashes.

LIPS: Maulawizada used neutral colours to “contour the lips” and make them appear “pouty, à la an early ‘90s supermodel pout.”

• He first defined the lips using Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Hazelnut ($20).

• Then he contoured and shaded in the lips with Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Praline ($20).

• Lastly he applied Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Angelic ($26) to make the colour a “bit more beige and quiet.”

FLAWLESS FACE: Maulawizada determined that “glowy, warm skin” would be the perfect canvas for Danes’ sultry makeup look.

• First, he applied Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Crème Compact SPF 20 in Almond ($45) to warm up Claire’s skin tone.

• Next he sparingly used Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage #3 ($30) to “cover up little imperfections and darkness under the eyes, which she really doesn’t have.”

• On her cheeks, Maulawizada applied Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Blaze ($24) followed by Laura Mercier Bonne Mine Palette ($48) to “highlight, bronze and make her even more glowy.”

• Lastly he used a combination of Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Translucent ($35) and Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($22) to set Claire’s makeup and concealer.

• To ensure Danes glowed from head to toe, Maulawizada applied Laura Mercier Mineral Illuminating Powder in Candlelight ($32) over Laura Mercier Repair Eye Serum ($80) on Claire’s shoulders and arms.

She stunned in this marigold hued Ports 1961 dress which flows so nicely and was accessorized with Graziela Forever with stunning Turquoise Earrings and a fabulous Turquoise Ring by the same house! Snazzy Sundays ~ Congrats to Mallory Hagan Miss America

I love that last night in Las Vegas, Miss New York - Mallory Hagan (a Brooklyn native) became Miss America 2013! She was definitely in my top 5! Last night's pageant brought a number of talents (tap dancing which I did growing up, piano playing, singing and more), fabulous bikinis by Catalina Swim, flawless makeup courtesy of Artistry Makeup and of course there's always the stunning gowns! The last Miss New York to win was none other than Vanessa Williams in 1984.

Snazzy Sundays: Kitten Lounge Loft ~ Tackling Our Fashion Office

Tackling The Office

- Find comfy seating for pitch meetings and watching video feeds for future coverage

- Organize our samples for shoots and vids

- Create a cozy nook for shoots and vids

- Create inspiration with our samples by having them displayed in the office - it is fashionable after all

- We agree with Bravo's Jeff Lewis that every evening should be a martini break at the office

We have been working like anything to turn one of the Kitten Lounge's spaces into a hybrid between a closet as well as a room to work in which allows us to shoot videos and to hold our meetings internally! Although there have been some ups and downs, it's good to get to the point of thinking of what to bring into the space. We have plans of making this fully functional within the next few months and as I'm a fan of making lists, you can see above what we're focused on! We want comfy seating so we can chat as well as to watch red carpet coverage from the office as we tweet or to think about what I'm wearing when I'm on the way to thinking about my segments. Samples are a huge issue with us as we shoot with them, use them for our spreads and more. We also want to have a section where we can do shoots here for things that don't need a huge production around it. Our samples stay a bit longer then we initially think whether we use them for a number of projects, are awaiting for them to go back somewhere or it's decided that they become owned by us - why store them away when it can become apart of our decor - hello storage that keeps them in a dedicated space but allows us to be inspired! Finally, we love on Bravo that Jeff Lewis' team is known for having martinis at cocktail 'o clock and we do too! There's something about toasting the end of a successful Fashion Week season, projects we've enjoyed closing (which is all of them) or to hail my return after a long trip - all of it needs to be done well and why not start here.

I want to share with you our initial points to tackle as we continue to go forward! I've been obsessed with the Napa Kitchen/Bar Carts for awhile and this one from JCPenney is perfect as it makes your options mobile. A simple drink can now open itself up to having light snacks whether it's after work or watching Fashion Police! Bookshelves are fantastic when they're art even when empty! We're excited to see our shoes, jewelry pieces and more sitting there on this Maria Yee Ventana shelf on Gump's. A proper bar set is key and is the only civilized thing to have in the office we love this Waterford barware set. We love a fabulous coffee table that can double as quick seating such as this reclaimed table from Anthropologie. I grew up with wing tip chairs in the living room as well as having them in my mother's bedroom! It's so decadent and I think no room should exist without one and this Biltmore Chair - this is perfect for the office and can also work well in a shoot. Glam it up with these Marrakesh style pillows from Horchow with this rich orange hue - amazing! We will keep you up to date on the progress and once completed or within our beginning steps, we will show you as well. Going forward, many of our videos will be done here so you'll see how it all worked out and the brands that graciously became our sponsors for our enlightened and inspirational space!

Snazzy Sunday ~ Marrakech Style

It's the last Sunday of 2012, how did so many days go by? Like many of you, I feel that I am in the midst of doing a lot of changes in my work and living space in order to increase my productivity as well as to change up where I am! I love an antiqued and aged quality every now and then! Turquoise is one of my favorite colors and makes me think of beaches and everything that is amazing about warm climates; however, it's also a rich color when you think of Marrakech style which is what is being presented today. Whether it's a study, living room or just an area that you are reviving like a reading corner - this is a great way to introduce a new hue to your living space.

Starting with Neiman Marcus, this Old Hickory Tannery sofa is perfect - I'm a huge fan of tufted furniture and love how cozy it makes a room look. This garden stool from Gump's will serve as a great side table and has a nice high gloss finish. If you have a book case or other flat surface, Anthroplogie has a fabulous votive which adds a hint of whimsy with their votive! Warm up your floors with this fabulous Mughal Crewelwork Rug and liven up your walls with these curtains to complete the look!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Deck Your Holly

If you're running around today to get some last minute shopping done whether it's for gifts or to get your home in order for guests, it's not REALLY last minute as this is the day before Christmas Eve and the last Sunday prior to Christmas Day. The Kitten Lounge has been remote working on a number of fab updates that will take affect in the new year but we're definitely in holiday mode! Today, we're inspired by green and how this can be in your home as guests come over! As there is nothing wrong with a little sparkle, we had to share this show stopping dress that's perfect during the holiday season and is very regal by Alice + Olivia. This is perfect whether you're planning for a New Year's Eve party, an innauguration or another special event in your life.

Bring in some pop of this color as well as other hues of green with this vase by Crate and Barrel and an open mouthed container that's colorblocked at Anthropologie to add some decor options into your space. As you may be spending some hours cooking a fabulous meal or having others assist, ensure that you're in the holiday season with Staub's cooking set essentials (available at Williams Sonoma cooking) which is perfect for what you'll be having. Finally, sit down at your dinner table with plates by L'Objet Fortuny. From now until the end of year, we'll bringing some fun lists of things that we love, recapping over the following year and spending a bit of time down memory lane!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Citrus Hues Inspired

We know that in 2013, Emerald is the color of the moment throughout the year; however, we have to pay hommage to this year's color that was crowned by Pantone for 2012 - Tangerine. What an amazing hue that is perfect whether it was worn during the summer or in the fall. We had to share some of our favorite finds from this year and of course, wanted to show how it can still be infused throughout your home! French Connection has a fabulous dress that mixes various hues of orange which will make you look fabulous whether it's for a holiday party or something for the spring!

First we have to start in the bedroom, how can you not love this pop of tangerine with this bedding including a duvet and sham by Dwell - how can you not love how crisp it looks! Add this Boden chair to your vanity or use it as a little stool. Move into the kitchen with my favorite latte bowls (I have them in grey) in the orange hue and available at Anthropologie. When making fun beverages, put them in these Bormioli Rocco glasses (we need the bright pink ones for the Kitten Lounge Loft stat). With guests coming over, add these washcloths to your towel rack as they have stripes of orange and are super chic thanks to DKNY. After a busy day, rest in this Soren Chair and enjoy the scents of Archipelago Botanical's mango tangerine!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Gold Chemise Inspires Your Holiday Decor

There's nothing like snuggling in your home whether it's curling up with a loved one, a good book, your laptop, watching TV or whatever you do when you get inside your four walls! As always, every Sunday we look at how to enhance our living space with a nod to a fab fashionable item. Today, we've fallen in love with this fabulous Mary Green (in addition to doing fabulous lingerie, she is also the designer of fabulous sleep masks and it wasn't until including today's chemise, that I realized that she created the very much so coveted Breakfast at Tiffany's inspired sleeping mask that you may have seen all over a number of websites - so on our list this year and a must when traveling) 1930's chemise which is available at Brooklyn Fox Lingerie! I love the ornate silk and lace garment which is perfect for lounging around the house on a weekend! You can also check out more items available at this fab boutique as in addition to lingerie, they have a number of swimwear brands, shapewear and more. This classic hue can be placed throughout your home just in time for the holiday as well as when this season is over.

Deck your trees, mantles and more with these fabulous Gold Sequin Ornaments which keep the holidays as accessorized as it should be thanks to the Land of Nod! Add more pop and texture to your window seat, bed, couch or favorite chair with this fabulous Donna Karan Glimmer Star pillow at Neiman Marcus. Place your petite gifts in these fab Champagne Frost Christmas Stockings at Neiman Marcus. Feel like royalty with Isabella Collection by Kathy Fielder in a Damask style at another of our fave retailers, Horchow. Adorn your walls with a Gold Antoinette Mirror at Neiman Marcus and after a day of enjoying the indoors in a luxe way, prepare your beverage of choice in Same Cristallerie Four Gold-Patterned Goblets Neiman Marcus.

Snazzy Sundays ~ Winter Escapes

With the hectic holiday coming up, you have to do some mental escapism. We were checking out Anthropologie (our favorite store) and found some items that would be perfect. We love this tent (the floor is not included) because you can create your own oasis. Imagine being on an island and prior to arriving, having a team add a floor to the bottom of the tent so that you could move furniture into the space. Check out the inset as the inside has that warm carnelian hue on the walls. If you're floating within a tent, you want lounging furniture, fun pillow pops and of course, you want to have a few mixed cocktails so why not continue the orange hues within this fab Kumquat Pitcher! I believe that the final layer is the perfect bikini and this Missoni as well as fun Quiksilver board shorts for him!
