As an Accessories Expert, I know a thing or two about accessories and obviously, I have my statements that I love wearing that are definitely noticeable when I'm walking around. This weekend, Kitten Lounge was in Philly and I can't wait to share all the finds, images and more that came from this trip - it definitely was an Accessories Weekend to be sure! Yesterday we kicked off (yes in the midst of the heat wave we're experiencing in NYC) our week of transitions in our closets! The fact is, many of us begin thinking about what we want to wear in fall and the easiest way is to begin with Accessories which we did in Monday's post! Today, we continue on our love affair with transitioning into fall with one of my favorite ways to dress in early fall. First off, colorblocking is perfect as it is a hybrid between black (perfect for all seasons) and white (which is always a nice way to pop in spring or even summer). In addition, many people wonder what to do when it hits the fall season and how one should dress. The beginning of fall allows us to wear a lot of summery items for quite a few weeks which is perfect and is exactly what the above look allows us to do when it's that Sept/Oct season!

I'm always a fan of black leggings (love that they have this python look from Victoria's Secret), when paired with a simple tee it has a fab casual meets edgy look! To glam it up, it's all about the accessories. These Giuseppe Zanotti Platform Slingbacks in black python are phenomenal and play well with pants, dresses and so much more! They're your staple for all seasons. Loving that these work well with one of my favorite python accessories designers, Ted Rossi, who has an amazing line with another texture that I love - Ostrich! Finally, I'm all about Swarovski as you guys know! So having a fab statement piece on my finger is a ring and why not go to Swarovski? As you read this I'm heading off to Cancun which I will share with you when I get back as I am covering an amazing all inclusive. As I soak up the sun in other clients or enjoy the warm weather back in NYC, I start thinking about fall and holiday plans! Around this time of year I always start to think about all the formal places that I will be going to for events or key dinners where I definitely need to show out! In situations like this I know that my dress has to be amazing and the accessories NEED to make some serious statements as what else would an Accessories Expert wear? I have been drooling over this one shoulder dress from Roberto Cavalli as it embodies his style of having pieces that catch your eye but I love that it incorporates my love for boho chic! How can you not look at someone wearing this piece at an event. In addition, this style is on trend for what you'll see (and have seen at awards shows) the grecian inspired look is amazing and really brings out the inner goddess in you. It lets you look like you're floating through the room!

You can support this look with great pops in accessories. I love the across the hand ring by KARA by Kara Ross it looks amazing and yet is decadent. If you talk with your hands, it's a great item to have as you speak! The Prada shoes (I am definitely having a love affair with their shoes this season) are always a classic as the dress is so key that you don't need an over the top shoe. Finally, I am in love with the cuff by Wolf Cuff. It's Gladiator meets sophistication. When I was on my press tour earlier this summer, I happened to meet a guy at a bar who was wearing them and found that he was the designer! You know that when I get to meet a designer that is new to me, I practically fall all over myself to find out about their collection, inspiration and where they're available. Let me say that the cuffs are gorgeous, one of a kind and I wore one and wished that I could take it back with me to NY! This cuff is made out of alligator and has Swarovski Crystals on it! This is perfect to wear when you're dressing up as well as to wear when you're wearing your favorite jeans and a tee! Together the look is glam and not too fussy!
