I'm in LA for a number of reasons and although I just got here yesterday, I'm off to tackle a few things while I'm here! Last night we had an amazing Italian dinner at Bruno's which is a short walk from the Santa Monica Loews Hotel (where I'm staying). I had a phenomenal dinner there and it was a great way for Paul and I to unwind after traveling for a large chunk of the day and settling in!

Reason 1 that I'm here is that Paul produced and hosted a conference (TV Goes Social) within the Social TV space that is taking place at the hotel later on today. He has a number of people from the Emmy's, various TV networks, people representing apps and large sites here talking about this sector of tech and what it means for the future. My role in this conference is definitely to be supportive, tweet a bit and to meet and greet those who work with my boyfriend! I love that this event also happened to take place at the hotel we're staying at. In between sessions, I will definitely enjoy some of the fab benefits from the hotel (I love that last night, we were sitting outside on the pool level and they had little fire pits within each table. In the morning their is a lid on top of them so you can sit out enjoying the weather (big plan for tomorrow morning). We plan on ending this crazy busy day with a cocktail session at the hotel and then taking some time for ourselves at Buddha's Belly which is supposed to be great.

Once the conference is over, my goal is to complete portions of my photoshoot for my clothing line which will be out later this summer as well as to get to know Santa Monica. For the many times that I have been to LA, I am always here strictly on business and I always stay downtown or in West Hollywood. This time I wanted a change of pace and to find out about the city from a whole new perspective (yet being close enough that I can still pop into the places that I need to be) - I am definitely falling in love with Santa Monica and am already thinking of planning a return trip!!
