Kitten Lounge's Holiday Gift Guide launched yesterday and we will continue to have additional brands included over the next few weeks as this will be up through Jan 15th of 2010! Of course our spread includes just a few of the goodies that are on the site including Ted Rossi, Purple Lab NYC and our sponsor, Tasty Morsels Bakery! Continue to check back as we will not only have additional items but this is a great way to begin thinking about what gifts you can get to cross it off your list! Not only is this a guide that focuses on gifting but it includes events as well that you'll want to know more about as well as restaurants and information for New Years Eve!

We're in our 3rd year of this guide and we also have a fun component known as the 25 Days of Holiday Glam. This segment kicks of Dec 1st through Dec 25th. There will be giveaways each of these days that you can win and is a way to not only introduce you to a fab brand and item but to also say thank you as well! This will be apart of the Holiday Gift Guide and also as a separate post within the main site. Although both of these items have been apart of the Holiday Gift Guide, we're adding in something new. We will include 12 Stars on the Horizon. These are individuals that work in the fashion industry (or are associated) that are either establihed or emerging people that you will want to know about. They work in the industry and defintiely deserve to be recognized as they do amazing work which you may need for future use! This will kick off Dec 20th and run through New Years Eve as a countdown of sorts!

Fashionable Fridays ~ To Be a Star Trailer

It seems like forever a go but towards the end of the summer, I participated in my first reality show, To Be a Star! This show follows 6 aspiring models and shows them all the information they need to be a well packaged star beyond just being the model, dancer or actress that they aspire to be. I was in an episode as the Style Mentor and although the show isn't out just yet, I do have the trailer! Enjoy and yes you'll see me in the trailer (I'm at 2:07) which was so exciting! I love hump days! It's the middle of the week and a great benchmark to see what has been worked on and what can still be done with a few days ahead! As Editor in Chief of Kitten Lounge, I get an amazing opportunity to see a lot of great products and to interact with so many great showrooms, brands, designers and so much more. While in Vegas in August, I was so happy to meet Casey of Hudson Jeans (she does their Social Media and various elements of marketing) and to walk with her at ENK Shows Vegas. With so many days hitting all the shows, I started to embrace my love for the maxi dress, Ted Rossi cuffs (I never travel without a number of them), large cocktail ring and of course a cute necklace. It's the act of styling a simple look to show my personality and to present an effortless look whether I'm walking the red carpet, tradeshows, showrooms or wherever I happen to be! I'm obsessed with accessories and I love large pieces. I brought a little of a boho-chic Grecian vibe to everyday that I was at the shows (you would too if it was 100 degrees). As I walked around people asked if I styled (especially when I told them I had just completed an episode of the reality show, To Be a Star, where I was the Style Mentor/Judge for aspiring models who were learning about the importance of having a look. Although I have worked with a select group of people, work with a few showrooms in the city and have been called in on a photoshoot - it wasn't something that I really thought I was doing. But the fact of the matter is that there is no better reward than showing someone how they can take elements of their style and add to it to create an enhanced look! If you're a busy individual who loves the idea of working with someone with great relationships of designers that you may not be familiar with, want to embrace accessories (I feel that they are the outfit) and love seeing your style progression, then feel free to contact me as I would love to work with you! Tracy Reese Look Fashion Week Spring 2010

I love a peek a boo of pop! One of my favorite elements about natural skins is that the metallic python serves as a great neutral to this gorgeous blue dress that hit the runway yesterday at Tracy Reese's show! The peep toe pump is perfectly sexy and when you want to get away from wearing the typical black, silver, gold shoe - this is a great alternative! Take a bag and match the shoes with the same texture and a slightly different hue! Ted Rossi's pieces are my essential for a day out and an evening that doesn't exactly have an endpoint! Finally, take a cuff with unexpected color and place it on that arm that begs to be noticed! I would place it on the one that is bar just so that it becomes an obvious point for people to stare at! Yes you have added gold and yes you have added a different hue than the dress but I love the natural elements! So far the runways are showing color and fun for spring with an extreme return to the Old Hollywood classics!

Oh boy it's getting a bit hectic in a little over a week I will be heading West baby to Vegas with the rest of the Kitten Lounge team to check out all the fashion trade shows, nightlife, restuarants, spas etc and to cover it on Kitten Lounge! The team is excited and I love meeting new people and those that I never see accept via my social networks. The next few days are going to be hectic (taping my episode for a reality show, going to Vegas, turning 30 at the Loews in SoBe and of course Fashion Week - did I mention my new jewelry line is being worked on as well - woo take a breath) and I'm a big planner of outfits. I even get focused on my travel outfit as I want to be comfortable but in many cases, I hit my city of destination without stopping to change! So my new graphic love is Paul Frank (Karmaloop has a fab collection if you don't have a store in your area)! I love the comical characters you have to check out his site to learn their names but they're comfy, sexy (and if you buy the guy version that would be hot) and so appropriate to travel in! His pieces also have a surprise - love the detail of the back from the cinched area on top to the kisses at the bottom and for those that don't know, the monkey's name is Julius! The giraffe, Clancy is the cutest thing ever and how could you not have that to carry your mags and anything else for a flight from NYC to Vegas? I'm a new fan (about a year or so) of Hudson Jeans (get them at ShopBop as they have quite a collection) - they always fit right and you know I'm a Havaianas girl! I have these flipflops in black as I'm a little Brazilian so I love seeing the flag (I'm wearing them as I type them now) but I would love the green version to pair with this top. Of course, I'm al labout Ted Rossi and I have this python cuff it makes any casual outfit dressy! I can guarantee you that this is pretty much how you will see me as I love comfort and a bit of pop! Two of my favorite colors are black and grey! When done right, it's very dramatic! As usual, you can click on the links above to learn more about the designers. Parker is a designer that is new to me that I'm falling in love with! This Three Ruffle Dress is awesome! I can say this as I have the blouse version of this dress and will actually wear it during an upcoming episode of To Be a Star! This line has so many great feminine qualities that still have a bit of an edge so I would definitely wear this dress to brunch or to an opening (even my 30th bday as it is that cute)! I've talked about Ana Reign before and I love the large cocktail ring and the fact that eyes won't be able to look away at your hand! Jimmy Choo is always a favorite and I love the open look of this 'caged' heel!. You know that I have always been a fan of Ted Rossi and I gave this piece which I wear all the time with tanks and leggings. This adds a lot of texture without the heft due to the skin. To tie in the sleek and the texture look that you're putting together, I love the clutch by Carlos Falchi which has a great print while also blending colors. I truly love that if you opt to do black and grey this is a such a fun way to do it without looking old and dated! Take some time to think about how to do an edgy/flirty look with the LBD!

I'm not really into Glitter but I am a fan of things that sparkle and glisten especially on a night out or when I know I'm hitting a red carpet function! I'm the type of person who enjoys wearing many of my night time pieces during the day. As always the links within the spread are active! I love Ted Rossi's Python Maltese Cross Cuff - these are perfect to wear with cute dresses, evening gowns and even jeans! I have quite a few clutches and cuffs from Ted Rossi; however, he has a Python White Cuff with an Onyx that I wear all the time and it always starts a conversation. In addition, I am a huge fan of Objets d'Envy (who doesn't love Swarovski Crystal jewelry) who has gorgeous pieces that add glam to the evening and to the everyday! Meeting Kirstin, the designer while I was in Chicago was a great experience! Pade Vavra has always been a favorite and this handmade Platinum Chain Necklace is great with a simple dress and perfect with a tank and pair of jeans! Every piece has an element of goddess to it! I love my branch silver necklace and also my olive branch like cuff in gold! Either piece adds a bit of nature and muse like aspects to my outfit! For those wanting to make an impact, try the Curations line with Stefani Greenfield as she will be on HSN July 29th at 8pm and July 30th starting at 1pm! I love that these pieces are conversation starters and they definitely up the overall style that you're going for. My favorite pieces are the two Swarovski clutches by Imi! These pieces combine art and style together for an amazing look! In fact these are pieces that you can not only cradle in your hand but you'll love sitting it on your table while you're in between getting a cocktail or enjoying your courses. Whether you love a minimal approach or you prefer an intricate design, Imi is a great way to secure an amazing look!

If my trip did anything, it would be putting me in the right frame of mind for future trips to warm locales! Yes NY is decent in terms of temperatures but I wish it felt the way it did in SoBe. With that said, I'm going through a major renovation in my closet. I am going to embrace color (I have always preferred gray and black - but why should I be so limited and different bodies. I have recently become a fan of yellow and love green as well. Now every now and then I still love black so why not something like this? I love Roberto Cavalli's kimono/tunic style and paired over white pants, it comes off as crisp. Black shoes take on a whole new twist with these DSquared2 platforms. I love the angle of the heel and how it is an accessory in its own right! As always, I'm a fan of Ted Rossi - the eel clutch, super cute! Finally, Dannijo Harley is new to me but this silver plated cuff is perfect to add a bit of edge to this whimsical meets dancing queen look! I have been a fan of Ted Rossi's pieces since my first blog back in 2005 and continue to write about them, wear them and more! The pieces are upscale, versatile and very classic! With that said, they will have a one day Sample Sale and with limited items available, when it's gone - it's gone! Fashionable Fridays: Fashion is Forever 21

If you don't know what Forever 21 is I truly feel bad for you! They're always a store that I pop into and fortunately in NYC, we have quite a few that I can hit up on a Saturday as I complete a variety of looks! Of course when I'm super lazy (or find that my size was no where to be found) I also go online! What do I love about this store/site? There's always something new, they have the super cute tank tops that are $2.50 and I've been able to experiment with certain items in a way that is much easier on my pocket book. In addition, I can't say how many times I have worn a $24.99 dress from them and paired it with my Jimmy Choo heels and Ted Rossi python bag and received a ton of compliments!

As we now hit May officially, we're only days away from consistently warm weather. One of my favorite looks to wear in the summer is a whimsical ensemble. I love super cute tunics that are in various weights of fabrics that when worn over skinny jeans or leggings, make you look amazing! These are perfect for work, going out and more. With so many pieces and with items being a little over or under $20, you can definitely buy quite a few items! So this Friday, we have a gallery of tunics that you should keep your eye on whether you're here in NY as they are in stores in the area (my favorite location is Union Square) or whether you're online! Check out their various collections within Forever 21: Heritage 1981 and Twelve by Twelve.

Finally, when it comes to accessible fashion, I like to know that it's not only pocket friendly (which is why in my posts I include various pieces that are within various price ranges from steals to splurge) but more importantly that various people regardless of size can also enjoy various looks as well. Nothing is worse whether you're talking about shoes or a dress and to find that they ran out of your size or that they never had it to begin with. Forever 21 recently launched Faith 21 which ensures that plus sized women can also enjoy fab finds and amazing fashion as well! Definitely check this out as well.

I adore python and although we have all seen it, I love that just like any other kind of material - it can be reinterpreted! So you know I am a HUGE fan of Ted Rossi so a post like this couldn't be complete without including them. This bag is so drool worthy! I also love Carlos Falchi as he places his artistic touch on this bag (literally as this is a handpainted piece - as a side note he makes all of his bags in NY and they are completely handmade)! Ever since I interviewed him for my first post at See Pretty Things, I always keep my eye out on him. Nancy Gonzalez fuses python and croc to create a fabulous piece that begs to be worn for a night out and with your jeans. Finally, I love that Banana Republic (I find that their accessories are amazing and truly have a high end look) has also created a line of python pieces which look amazing as well. Add some texture and love to your look with these pieces.

Keeping it "Signature". What exactly does that mean? Well a signature is something that is your version of the "back to basics", "the classics" or an "old standby". It may not sound like it's fashion forward but it can be! For me, my signature works no matter where I may be heading to! It's the look(s) you pick when you have multiple things and you don't have a lot of time to change (or if you do need to bring something it may be a belt of sorts). As we head into this in-between weather, we start peeling the heavy layers for something that is lighter. I am a fan of the Lauren Conrad collection as I have quite a few pieces. I love this wrap. It's a dynamic look, love the layers and it works when you're feeling 100% or even when you think that you may be bloated (we've all been there). This look is great with a simple black tank or tee and worn over leggings (the liquid leggings is a hot look and one that you should definitely put within your closet). You can also pop various colors into this scheme if you like. A look like this needs a good pair of sunglasses - who doesn't love a retro pair like the ones from Tom Ford? Currently, I have a large pair by Marc Jacobs that has an olive tone in the frames which is a nice way to add a slight amount of color and yet keeps it to my signature look. The bag is from my dear friends at Ted Rossi. You have heard me talk about how much I love wearing their cuffs and carrying their clutches (I wore them throughout my recent trip to the Dominican Republic). There is a definitely a feel of luxury when you carry their items and this looks amazing on your arm with this look! Finally, add a pop of color (especially when you decide to go monotone - which I love doing) with the shoes. I love the Corsica strappy sandal which looks AMAZING with leggings. At my recent Jimmy Choo event, I saw girls with leggings wearing this shoe and it was very nuvo-glam! Not only does this add height but it creates a very nice silhouette that will leave people begging to know who your stylist is! My look incorporates simple pieces with pops of something here and there. What's your signature look and what is a must in your wardrobe?

Yesterday, Paul started off the concept of a list format as I think it's a great way to look over the past year with that which was amazing! I think it helps you out in terms of where you've been and where you want to go! Of course, my favorite topic is ACCESSORIES! Today I am including my favorite 5 items that I have worn and the 5 that I definitely want to include within my wardrobe and I threw in something that Paul would love as well! These items have been included in previous posts but they deserve another mention before the end of the year!

My Top 5 That You'll See Me Wear:

Orfeo Quagliatoa: I love these large bauble rings that are made out of hand blown glass.

Ted Rossi: I love the cuffs and the clutches that are made out of python!

Kitten Couture: This is my jewelry line that I love and am always wearing these pieces. I am obsessed with the resort lifestyle and bringing in the beach!

Pade Vavre: I love the antiqued look of these pieces and love the sterling silver branch necklace that I wear often.

Moon River Pearls: I was never into pearls but I love how "out of the box" many of these are and feel that it's absolutely necessary to have a pair within your jewelry box.

There's a lot going on today without question so let's see. Hopefully you had an amazing Cyber Monday and walked away with some amazing deals that will keep you looking great and allow you to check off your holiday list as well!
