Over the past few days, we have all heard about The Queen's Diamond Jubilee which celebrates Queen Elizabeth's 60 years as the Queen of England. With a number of celebrations, this was a great way to check out a number of fashionable ways to rock a look while being respectful of the decorum that this series of events requires. Kate Middleton (picture courtesy of WENN.com), rocked out in this amazing Alexander McQueen pin dress at the River Pageant Flotilla. I have seen it worn by a number of celebrities and I love the way that Kate is wearing it. She paired this with one of her favorite go to shoes - the nude pump by L.K. Bennett.

I would complete this look with the fun and compact clutch by Nina which has a nice embellishment on the top of the clasp. I would also pair these Charriol champagne diamond and bronze drop earrings. Together this is such a fab look!

1 1/2 measures of U'Luvka Vodka

1/2 a measure of Lemon

1/2 a measure of St. Germain or elderflower cordial

1/2 Plymouth Sloe Gin

2 dashes of Lavender bitters 2 dashes of Rose Water

Garnished with an edible Flower

Pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.

Shake and strain. Garnish.

Serve in Coup Glass

Next Wed, Dec 7th at 6pm, Run to Daylight Education Program has their first fundraiser at the Metropolitan Club with a night filled with cocktails (vodka bar provided by U'Luvka Vodka, silent/live auctions, dinner and dancing! Everyone is coming together with the purpose of helping under-resourced young men with the opportunity to play football, in conjunction with the Queens Falcons football league, and to secure a top quality education not normally available to families of limited financial means. When you travel as much as Colin does, he wants to make sure that his fans around the globe stay connected with him by getting his iPhoneTwitter app so that you know everything that is going on with him! As he globetrots around the world he LOVES LOVES LOVES his Thomas Pink shirts!!! Colin says, "in fact the new one from the prestige collection in dapper houndstooth is perfection - natty, navy, crisp and dare I be cheeky here? I swear I've seen our Wills photo'd in it (Prince William - aka groom to be of the gorgeous Kate Middleton). NEVER felt nattier". I'm guessing that this means it's definitely on trend and super cute!

Although he's always traveling, JAMAICA. JAMAICA. JAMAICA. Perfection on earth. His paradise found. Cannot get there often enough. Hand him an Angoustura Rum (from Trinidad) Mai Tai and he's in heaven. Last night I attended the US launch of the book, An Englishman in New York at Thomas Pink on Madison Ave! This book was shot by famed photographer, Jason Bell who included Kate Winslet, Sting and Colin Asare-Appiah within his pages. We all know about this fab oxford line of shirts for men and women which is a UK company. So the pairing of the two together, definitely made sense. With the DJ spinning a chill upbeat vibe and with U'Luvka Vodka pouring drinks, it was an amazing atmosphere! Above, I am pictured with Colin, mixologist of U'Luvka and star of Discovery Channel's 'Cocktail Kings' and Philip Pepperdine of St Germain( (they created fab drinks too)! Paul and I took a moment in between nibbled and drinks as well.
