I am heading home after a week in Orlando for the PGA show. I can't wait to see my boyfriend and his friends again on the UWS to go to this year's Super Bowl Party. I love the game, the food, the commercials and just having a chance to end the football season to think about next year! Stay in touch with everything by visiting the NFL's site to see info on half time, behind the scenes videos and the blog. Within the blog, I found out that the Empire State Building (which I will look for as I drive back into NYC) will be lit with the Cardinals and Steelers colors! I am rooting for the Steelers but I think that this will be a very exciting game!

The economy has been an interesting one. Yes you may have to think about doing one thing versus another; however, you have the option to do some amazing things at a cheaper price. Although you may put your vacation on hold, it doesn't mean that you don't need a change in environment. This weekend, we had the opportunity to enjoy The Dream Hotel which is a great boutique hotel that reminds me of South Beach and yet it is located on the west side! The idea of staying in the city and enjoying a great meal (we began the night within the hotel at the bar downstairs called Rm. Fifty5 went on to Ocean Grill and then Isabella's only to finish the night at the Ava Lounge) was too much to pass up. For the next few weeks, you can enjoy a night here (on the weekends) for as low as $240! We ended up getting a room that was a suite and had a view of Times Square! I love the hues and the flourescent settings as well!
Although I'm all about various portions of the city, this side of town is not one that I tend to hang out in! So it was nice to pick a series of restaurants and lounges that were in the area. We felt so relaxed (the beds at Dream are like sleeping on clouds and with the all white interiors, I felt like I had been at a spa for weeks). Regardless of where you are, it's important to know that you still need to take time out for you and to realize that you can have an amazing time while being witihn your own city! It's like seeing where you live with new eyes. To this end, Kitten Lounge will cover various hotels that you can attend and what great places are in the area.

As we are all running around and prepping for the holiday parties at work, with friends and going on vacation - think about you. We all need to find whatever way we can to reduce our worries and if you're located in NYC, take a trip to Beam Laser Spa where you can be 6 sessions away from a hairless existence - where you decide, it's up to you! But if you're looking for a relaxing environment with two of the sweetest and conversational sisters, then Andrea and Liza are your girls. This amazing Brazilian duo make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in and they explain everything you need to know to be completely comfortable. I have been to two sessions and will be going again on the 20th of this month, my underarms are amazing! I never have to wonder about a shadow or to take time to have to deal with them. I can get up and go - I can't wait until the summer when I will definitely love this!

Just the other day (actually the day I went to visit Beam Laser Spa on the UWS), I realized that West Elm was coming into that neighborhood. Typically when I go there I have always gone to the one in Chelsea. Once I saw the announcement regarding the opening, I realized that it had been awhile since I had seen their post. So today, I have a nice gallery of West Elm who has always had a natural vibe. Enjoy these images and think of how you will add a little natural love into your home whether it's in the bedroom, living room or much more.
I went to Indiana University and I loved Sports - the bar. I loved that we would watch our games there and all of us had the best time. I definitely had my favorites in terms of drinks, snacks and more. Everytime I came by, the night was destined to be good and you were surrounded by other enthusiastic fans! Coming to NYC, I wondered where the best sports bars were and what ones were favorable to my Alma Mata. 
The night before Thanksgiving, I ended up going to an amazing restauraunt that had a great vibe. 
Saturday my friend and I did our weekly brunch. Nothing is better than sitting back and enjoying a great meal that lasts a few hours. On the way back from our UWS brunch spot, we took a walk and popped into a few shops and noticed a cute little wine place -
