I love it! So I've been taking the tablets for a few weeks from Functionalab ever since I had a personal consultation at Henri Bendels! If you're not familiar, you should read my first post about this amazing brand which posted a few weeks ago! It took a little getting used to the fact that each day, I was taking a pack in the day and in the evening; however, I have to say that I haven't felt tired and I do feel that I am benefiting from all of these great vitamins. Not only have I enjoyed taking the 2 Pack, I have begun thinking about other items that would be great to take within my daily regimine! Functionalab looks to building you from the inside out by consulting you with what you do on a daily basis. I think this is the best way to go about it so that your body begins to get a lot of nutrients that it needs and you can also pick what you would like to focus on and ingest those pills as well. Now it has been a few weeks but yesterday morning my consultant just emailed me asking whether I was ok and to feel free to follow up to ask her any questions that I may have! What a great way to make sure that you're still where you want to be or to see if there are other items of interest! Functionalab is definitely something you should consider to incorporate within your daily routine!

Earth Week continues and you know, Kitten Lounge will continue to talk about various items within this category. The response for our Earth conscious items has been so great that it will actually get a day to itself once we get to the month of May! I love how people are sending items about sustainable lifestyles, food and so much more! But of course, we will never give up our beauty segments and I have a great one to share with you that I started using. Can I just say that I have been a Dove user for a number of years (I loved the face pads and use the deodarent but I have found something that I truly love)!

Koh Gen Do is a very sleek line of cosmetics, body products and more. I love that no animals are tested with this line and that it is comprised of raw ingredients. This is not only better for the environment but also for your skin. In addition to the benefits of the products, who doesn't love the packaging? Whether it's makeup or the skincare portion, I love that your bathroom turns into a personal spa simply because the packages have a boutique luxe look to them. I love the idea of having a home spa whether you have a routine or whether you simply decided to take some time for yourself just because.

What pieces do I like and what's considered on my "list" of items for this line? I love the Organic Cotton pads that are super soft! It's so plush that even when you're makeup is on, it doesn't leave fuzzies on your face. The Cleansing Spa Water is literally the best solution when it comes to ensuring that your face is clean and that all of your makeup has been removed. I love the fact that everything this beauty line uses is good for you and the environment at large. I do have a few of the cosmetics; however, I have yet to use them (I will have to try it this weekend when I go out). Chicago was so much fun and although I enjoyed all the boutiques, restaurants and more - one place that definitely has me thinking that I should visit it again when I come back in June! As my friend and I headed out to check out all these interesting places, we came upon the Mojo Spa. Now there are so many reasons why I enjoyed this spa. I love that they had handmade soaps and that you could purchase them within their cute packaging - this is ready for gifting! I wish that I could show you the super cute cake that is cute into individual "slices" which becomes a gorgeous soap cake!

When we came in, we were embraced by an amazing series of scents and we basically received a feast for the eyes with all of the soaps, jewelry and did I forget to mention that they also do pedicures and manicures as well? We saw a bridal party (and much like Dashing Diva which now seems like a distant memory) which makes this an obvious place to go for a group event. But in addition to offering beverages, they have brunches (with full on menus), tastings by Amanda, they have DJ's and it just makes it a fun place to go! When you're in Chicago, this is a must and I hope to come back in June to get a treatment. If you can't make it, Mojo Spa has a full selection of products available online and if you happen to know of something that is available (the sliced cake for example) but isn't on the site, you can call in your order. I wouldn't gush about something that is so cute and I look forward to touching base and finding additional items to share with you and of course images from my visit in June when I go!

Now when it comes to Victoria's Secret, I have to say that the Pink collection is one of my favorites when it comes to lounge wear. My closet has nothing but the little pup on them (just putting it on lets my body know that I'm in lounge mode)! Pink has had various beauty components but its a recent organic line that I just received that has me excited! I received the Soothing Hand Cream which contains organic oat extract and the Soothing Body Lotion which includes organic shea butter!  Obviously this collection has much more from body washes, lip balms, etc. But I love the fact that this is a green collection, natural, organic and 100% vegan! I was very excited to try this out and wasn't disappointed at all. I love the packaging as well as it's very simple and yet iconic with Pink logos on it! No animal testing was done within this collection and being a fan of cocoa butter and grape seed oil, this will become a favorite! I love that when applyting the lotions, its easy to administer and it doesn't leave an annoying greasy film on your skin. Your skin feels protected and it's great knowing that it's environmentally sound! Check out the collection for yourself and this will be heading with me on my vacation within a few weeks!

Today was an interesting day which also explains my delay in sending out the post. It has been a rainy but productive day! Today I was apart of a taping that will be on CBS and included sometime next week. With the holidays being around the corner, I enjoyed being fitted into great looks that would be perfect for a festive occassion and I love that most of my makeup came from NARS. When it comes to makeup, I'm pretty basic in the sense that I love playing up my eyes but I don't know all the fancy tricks so as I sat in Space NK's studio, I chatted up David asking him what he was doing and how I could do it on my own (yeah I don't know about that).

When he finished off my look, NARS Body Glow on my skin. I have seen this so many times and always thought it would be too gold but interestingly enough (and thankfully), I found it to be the perfect shimmer that could not only be worn at night but in the day as well! This is definitely on my wish list and speaking of, there are two additional items that I think would make great gifts! I love the NARS Velvet Matte Lip set as it comes with a trio of pencils and a pencil sharpner (I love when I have that included so that I don't have to run trying to find it in my local Sephora). I also love the NARS lipgloss collectionn as you never know what mood you're in (I also like if you have friends over and they don't have a gloss you have enough to share). For me, I am never without MAC and now NARS which are my makeup musts when you see me out and about. When the show airs, you'll see what NARS products David used!

I love it! For those of you who know me, I used to be a Home Manager at Anthropologie once upon a time ago! I loved the cute latte bowls, Cirrus bedding, Mistral Soaps and finally Pacifica! I think what set them apart for me is that they brings the beaches of the world to every candle, soap, spray and body butter! My personal favorite is the Brazilian Mango Grapefruit but after visiting the site, I saw quite a few items that I wouldn't mind having in my home! I love that this is the perfect gift to give for the holidays, housewarmings and just for yourself. I am such a fan of Carol's Daughter! I haven't been to too many of her locations; however, those that I have attended have been gorgeous! It is definitely presentation season as last night I attended an amazing show of fab jewelry and later on this morning, I am going to Carol's Daughter to learn about the new collection that is coming out! I have some items that I pulled from the site that have just been added and hope that this will be some of the the things that I will be able to see so this post will be updated by this afternoon! If you haven't been to a store, thankfully you can go to Sephora and of course her website! Of course, it would be amazing to meet Ms Lisa Price herself who has an interesting story! I remember when I first saw the website a few years ago that she had Mary J Blige and Jada Pinkett using the products on her pages! UPDATE: I was excited to go to the presentation as many of you know that follow me on Twitter and when I got there, I wasn't disappointed! Lisa Price told us about her story (which I think we were all familiar with but hearing her say it was so motivational and inspiring) and she actually showed us how to make Potpurri. I had never in my life had the urge to make it or use it but seeing how simple and personal it was, I knew that I would have to start doing this as well. Her collection, which is based on foods and really incorporates the senses is going to be amazing so when you visit Sephora, her site or Macy's you have to pick up some items! Not only does she have a great product but the packaging is amazing which makes it a keepsake. I look forward to learning more about her and I was so honored to be there to hear from her everything that she had to tell us!

During Fashion Week, it's more than the fabulous clothes and parties, I love being in the tents and getting introduced to new products. As I walked around the various booths, I came in front of Boots. I knew them to be a store that sold various skincare, beauty products, etc. But I was surprised that the line called No7 was their own line. I was given a moisturizer for day and night and I have been using it since Fashion Week! I love how fresh my face feels and as I received a full sample, I know that when it's time to get another one, I can either go to Boots or I can get it at Target. This is affordable and attainable skincare that will make your face glow everytime you apply the creams! This has made my skin look very refreshed and I honestly feel that I am getting a mini spa everytime I was my face! So although this post is late in coming, I wanted to spend a few months with this product before sharing it with all of you!

Last week, after my appearance on Pop17, I ran from Soho to Bowlmor Lanes! I hadn't bowled in years and the idea of eating all of my favorite snacks while also learning about Clearasil's new products that will be available in March! There is nothing better than a beauty preview and having the opportunity to test out these items months before they hit the shelves. Today, I present three items that will be apart of your must haves in your beauty closet!

Now for many of us, Clearasil was a was a staple in our cabinets when it came to maintaining good clear skin and to ensure that whatever popped up would leave as soon as possible! Clearasil was a staple in my cabinets from high school through college and after attending this preview of the new collection, I realized that Clearasil may have been absent for a period of time from my cabinets but with its advanced abilities, this is clearly an essential!

I could spend paragraphs talking about the extensive line; however, I am in love with the Pimple Blocker Pen. I love the fact that this pen is amazing! We have all had those moments when we feel a little something that eventually turns into a molehill and in fact a mountain. We have all tried to find remedies that supposedly stop a pimple from advancing; however, I don't think that I have had the best success at this! The Pimple Blocker Pen is portable and can be applied to the face so that it takes action! I love it, you always have a little fighting power that you can use without having various creams to carry around with you.

In addition to the Pimple Blocker Pen, there is an interesting duo known as the Rapid Action Treatment in Tinted and in Vanishing Cream. When you realize that you have a series of pimple and discoloration, these creams reduce the redness and the size of the inflamed area as well within four hours.

All of these products are great extensions of the line that I can't wait to be available to everyone, until then - I am going to enjoy my products and all the goodies (P.S. I bowled a 156 - A.M.A.Z.I.N.G). In additon, you should check out a snazzier site from Clearasil with fun Facebook applications and to spread the need to have great confidence due to clear skin!

Yes To Carrots sounds like a campaign that attempts to encourage children to eat their veggies - more specifically, carrots as I always felt that they were great to eat since they were so colorful and not at all imposing. Well Yes To Carrots is a campaign in that it uses carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers; however, they are intended for your face, body, hair and hands! Yes to Carrots rejuvinates you naturally and has super cute packaging. I have tried many of these items and I love how it makes my skin not only feel soft but the organic veggies are use in conjunction with the Dead Sea! Using such a mineral rich series of beauty products can only make your skin look that much more amazing.

There are two elements to this line that I truly love - they are available in such places as Walgreen's, Target, Drugstore.com, Duane Reade, Meijer and more which is perfect as you know you can get your hands on it! The second is that the success of Yes To Carrots, encouraged them to diversify with Yes to Tomatoes which absorbs oils and Yes To Cucumbers which is a coolant for sensitive skin! I love making sure that all skin types have something that they can use and who knows what they will think of next.

I love the roundups! Sometimes, I need to be reminded of all the goodies that have been going on, will take place here and maybe just something that needs to be mentioned because you guys will love it! So what happened over the past week that is of note: Well, I am rapidly moving in with Food Editor and boyfriend, Paul so I am all about decor at the moment! Expect that Sundays are going to be packed with items that we actually will choose. Last week, I highlighted great pieces that are from West Elm! Expect to see interesting pieces of items that we have actually purchased over the next few weeks - starting with this Fri and learn about our color schemes. It may be a little TMI but I could use some design direction as I am in the middle of quite a few things at the moment!

I love reading and you got your first introduction of A.W. Gryphon who will be featured throughout the month as she is the author of 'Blood Moon' which is perfect as we get closer to Halloween. Along the way she has some amazing Chanel pieces and this past Thurs, we received some great beauty tips!If you missed it, you know that I am all about Dashing Diva and they had Jennifer Hudson stop by and they are doing an amazing contest with ABC Daytime Soaps and SOAPnet! This past Thursday, you were hit with 3 beauty items and one of my favorites was the lovely Brazilian sisters of Beam Laser Spa - the idea of never having to shave again makes me gidddy and after 6 - 8 treatments it will be a complete transition! If you have four seeds, set four personal goals to focus on. If it’s just one, choose one. Write them down and keep them in a place where you will see them every day… and then crunch your teeth over this magical fruit as you move on to your next Halloween treat.

#8 BE-WITCHED AND CELEBRATE!

Raise a glass to those who have touched your life. This is a day to celebrate the living and those we’ve lost with open hearts and settled minds. Halloween, Samhain, All Hallows Eve, The Pagan New Year… we call this night many things, but one shared ancient belief is that this is a night when the layer of the universe between the living and dead is thin, making it a great time to celebrate in honor of, and even with, the spirits of loved ones of the past. Have a party. Make a toast. Pull out your photo albums. Do whatever feels best to share a moment with the spirits that flourish in the living and the dead on this precious night that celebrates us all.

#9 DOUBLE, DOUBLE LET THE GOOD VIBES RUMBLE, FIRE BURN AND HONEY BUBBLE: IT’S TIME FOR HALLOWEEN WISHES

Wishes to go. Wishes to Stay. Write it all down and make a change. It’s time to think about what we want and that includes making room for it by sorting out for what we don’t want. Write down everything you want to bring into your life this year, no matter how big or small. Use a piece of simple paper and a pencil. On another piece of paper write down everything you want to let go of and that you want out of your life. Take time with the lists and remember this is about you personally. After the lists are complete, take a candle, set in it a cauldron (a safe pot or something of the like will do), close your eyes, take a long deep breath, then open your eyes, burn the list of all that you want gone from your life and say goodbye to everything on it. After the burning has come to a safe end clear all of the materials that you used away. Next place your list of positive wishes in a jar. Fill the jar with honey, seal the lid tight and place it on a windowsill that you think is best for the positive flow of energy going in and out of your home. That’s it. The wishes are out there, now all you have to do is remember them, believe and let them come true.

#10 TREAT AND TREAT: LET’S EAT!

What’s a girl to do after a full interior and exterior beauty session? Eat! And make it something delicious and in the spirit of the holiday. A little comfort and warmth to nourish your soul and stomach is the perfect way to wind down an evening. Pumpkins represent the American take on this special night and making apples part of the celebration takes us back to our ancestors. So, how about Pumpkin Bread and Spiced Apple Cider? You can make it from scratch, or buy it at the store. You might even have an old family recipe. However you make it happen, its always a good choice and a perfect end to a perfect evening. You guys know that I love Dashing Diva. I have been getting my nails done there since 2003 or so! I have always loved how relaxed I feel when I'm there. Going from a super happy patron to someone who has attended their events and gotten to know the team including Robert and Alisha, it's nice to get a better understanding of my favorite salon and also seeing them step into new areas! Jennifer Hudson stopped by at my favorite location on 3rd Ave and 15th street to get her nails done for the shoot of the online video "SpotLight" (I love this song and can't wait to see this).
