As many of you know, I have my own jewelry line, Kitten Couture which uses natural stones and seashells. Now my pieces are for all seasons; however, now that we are officially in Spring - this is the perfect time to reintroduce you to the collection. I love having pops of color within my jewelry as I tend to wear a lot of solids and simple pieces. This is a great way to change your look and really play up many of your favorite pieces. Above, I have a piece made of Botswana Agate, Mother of Pearl, Carnelian, Tiger Eye and Turquoise. Known as Ariel, this is a great piece that brings in elements of the sea while also being perfect with the addition of neutral tones as well.
Below is one of my other favorites and is also a chunky necklace that contains many of the same pieces that are above. The Alexandra has large Mother of Pearl shells, Carnelian, Agate and Snail Sell as well. Both pieces are done as lariats so that you can choose how many times you like to wrap them around your neck and how you wish to tie them. From now until April 15th, I am offering a special deal via this site where you can receive any piece at 50% off. Simply email me and let me know your piece; however, everyone should have a great piece that stands out or is perfect for a special day. I'll keep you guys up to date on what's going on with Kitten Couture and where you can find us! In the mean time, enjoy our Spring Fling Sale from now through April 15th where each piece has been reduced for a limited time to boost your look!

I am starting to embrace a type of accessory that has been very foreign in my closet! Although I liked looking at pearls, I never thought it would be something that I would wear. This all changed when Moon River Pearls reached out to me! Who knew that pearls could transcend so many styles and provide so many looks? I love layering my pieces with chokers or other bangles. The pearls that are shown below are full of color and go from Little Black Dress to an extremely casual outfit with jeans and there is absolutely no granny factor here! Visit the site and although there are the traditional pearls, I love that they have great looks that are outside of the box - you'll never look at pearls the same way again!

So this post is another one of those where it hits a number of themes. Today, I will be doing the ultimate mingling! I am attending the Henri Bendel's Open See for Designers in NYC which runs from 9am - noon today. This is a great event that allows emerging designers to be seen and to be picked up by this amazing store. To all of those who will be here, I wish you the best and hope that you enjoy the experience regardless of the outcome (I say this and I have to keep telling myself the same thing) I will be chatting with other designers and I will also be in line since I will be having my pieces looked at by the lovely buyers as well! Obviously, I will share with you what happened and would love to also provide some information on designers that I think we should keep an eye out for! So send me all your virtual well wishings whether they are comment or whether you just happen to think of it - all support is appreciated! In addition, since today is the last day of THINK CITRUS, you'll enjoy one of the pieces that I recently designed as an exclusive (it's not even on my site) that has pops of the theme that we have had on the site.
Let us hope that this piece which is something that I just designed a few weeks ago is one that the buyers fall in love with! I named her Alexandra and she has Carnelian (that would be the citrus), Snail Shell, Sea Shell Chips (that would be another citrus in lemon), Turquoise, Polished Wooden Beads and Mother of Pearl. I love it and hopefully they will as well. Feel free to give some love by visiting my site, to see the other pieces which are currently available!

I love that we are getting to the point where we don't have to worry about winter temperatures anymore. We can embrace spring and soon summer. Kara, is apart of my jewelry line Kitten Couture which brings resort inspired pieces that are perfect for the cabana, a night out or simply running errands. I love that this piece reminds me of citrus oriented fruits like Blood Orange, Nectarines, Tangerines and Grapefruit as well. It's pieces like this that allow you to add pops of color into your outfit when it's still chilly and of course assists the summer rays when you're about to head out to a cocktail party. Of course, I have always been a fan of Carnelian and have created various pieces that use this amazing stone. If you love these items, you'll enjoy additional lariates that are on this site as well. Take a peek at Kitten Couture.
