I loved, Ethel's Chocolate place when I visited my friend in Chicago! Who wouldn't love a space that allowed you to relax and to enjoy your favorite chocolates. I love the fact that this pink lounge was such a cozy place that took my mind off the rain that was going on outside at the time. If you enjoy going to an icecream shop and selecting your favorite scoops, you will enjoy this place without a question. Take some time to check out the website it you can't make it to their various locations in Chicago or Las Vegas. What's my favorite - Chocolate Rum.

Ideas for a Ghouly and Glamourous Tablescape:
A classic black, white and metallic silver tablescape design is ghouly and glamorous! Glowing mercury glass candlesticks show off the soft sheens of silver for an evening that is one to remember. Increase the sparkle even more with glass plates, black goblets, and ornate silverware. Rolled and tied sheets of music add to the theme, while gold votive candles in bubble glass holders cast a romantic moon-like glow over each place setting.
Spooky Place cards:
A personal note makes a thoughtful keepsake place card. Fold pieces of black-and-white scrapbook paper in half and personalize a Halloween message to each guest – perhaps a short riddle or an inspiring thought for the evening. For a final flourish, thread black satin ribbons through the hole-punched tops and gently tie them around pages of rolled-up sheet music.

I am so excited to share with you guys the Village and it also has a site that's online where you can order their yummie peanut butter. The Peanut Butter Co is known for their sandwiches that have a variety of flavors within their spreads. Peanut Butter is not only something enjoyed by children but by adults alike! Enjoy such sandwiches as the Fluffernutter, Peanut Butter Cup (this has Nutella and their freshly
ground peanut butter), Peanut Butter Club (including
two layers of peanut butter and two layers of jelly between three layers of bread) and more. If you're not interested in having one of their amazing peanut butter sandwiches, you will be able to enjoy salads and much more.
As stated before, there is also a site where you can enjoy a variety of flavors. Recently, I purchased Dark Chocolate Dreams which is a mix of peanut butter and dark chocolate! I was so excited to get this as I wanted to taste this. I have enjoyed this on mini pita breads as a great snack! There is also a peanut butter called Bees Knees which has honey in it. They are definitely creative and at least you can enjoy this nutritious food by ordering online if you're not in the city. With so many options, you're bound to find something tasty.
Peanut Butter & Co is so pleased to let you know more about their amazing brand, that they have provided a variety of jars of their rich and healthy product for 4 winners in our giveaway! Simply answer your favorite way to incorporate peanut butter in a recipe or your favorite peanut butter and jelly sandwich and you could be selected as one of four winners! As I was in my local Wholefoods store, I saw that they had Fair Trade Hot Chocolate. I was so intrigued to have some and wondered what it would taste like. I also noticed that it cost a bit more than I thought hot chocolate would taste. Apparently this hot chocolate can be mixed with milk, rice or soy which is great for everyone since you're bound to at least consume one of these items! I have yet to try this myself (but with the cold weather upon us, I do enjoy drinking this). If you don't have Wholefoods, you can go to the Lake Champlain Chocolates site to buy some of your very own. If you have tried it, let me know as I am very interested in hearing all the feedback before I get this!
I love having an old favorite and adding a little pop to it! It's a way of spicing up something that we had as kids and it's nice that we can upgrade it into it's much deserved adult status! Today I turn to hot chocolate. I love how warm it makes you feel and although it's not something that I have a lot, it's always appreciated when I go to the City Bakery here in NYC (I do feel that's the best spot to have hot cocoa). But when you don't want to go out, you can just stay in and make some yourself. This is perfect to have for the next few days when you may not have to go to work, if you're having some friends over for brunch or if you decide during your chosen snow day to have an impromptu scrabble match with friends - this is a great way to have a little event that is simple to put together. The best thing about this is that it incorporate hot cocoa, candy canes and Woodford Reserve.
Woodford Candy Cane Hot Chocolate
1 750mL bottle of Woodford Reserve 2 Candy Canes
Empty out bottle of Woodford Reserve into a clean container.
Place Candy Canes at the bottom of the bottle (break Candy Canes into smaller piece if need be).
Pour Woodford back into the bottle and allow the concoction to infuse for 24 hours.
Combine 1 1/2 oz. Candy Cane infusion with 4 oz. hot chocolate. Garnish with whipped cream and a candy cane.
It's chilly today and snowing so our decor day will actually allow you to stay home and browse what's going on around the Blogosphere. Here are some links to other posts I have written on Social Diva! As always you can also visit See Pretty Things as well for my daily posts.
We love hearing from you! Suggestions, ideas and thoughts are always welcome.
