As many of you know, since I travel a lot, I'm all about a number of reality shows. One of my faves happens to be Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Kyle Richards, is my favorite housewife within that show. I think I'm such a fan of hers as her sense of style is close to mine. I love her boho chic goes classic style, as an Accessories Expert I appreciate how she is always well accessorized AND I love that we have a number of outfits that are the same (and no I didn't buy them after the show aired). I got the opportunity to do a little Q&A with her about her role within the March of Dimes campaign, her personal style and what we can expect to see next!
-What does your involvement of the March of Dimes 75th Anniversary and their annual IMBORNTO campaign mean to you and how did you get an interest as well as become involved within it?
As a mother of four children, I can't think of anything more important than having a healthy baby. I've always admired the work that March of Dimes does, so I was proud and honored to be partnering with them for their IMBORNTO campaign.
I'm always impressed with your sense of style as I find that in in a number of episodes, we actually have a number of the same items in our closets - how did you begin to define your sense of style?
It changes from day to day depending on my mood. I always joke that I'm half rockstar, half librarian. I can go from bohemian, to classic to edgy, depending on the day, but I always have to be comfortable.
What are your accessories staples that you can't get enough of wearing?
Earrings and sunglasses
How do you balance your busy life between your hubby, 4 daughters, additional family members, filming the show and running your boutique?
I sleep very little these days. I wake up very early and have learned to manage my time better. It's always back to back, all day long with no breaks. But as a woman, I'm a good multi-tasker.
What have you learned about the fashion business that you didn't know about since opening your store?
How far in advance we buy the clothes in the store. It doesn't match up with the weather and you're not always in the mood, but that's the way it works. Also, so many boutiques in Beverly Hills don't carry enough variety of sizes. My store carries a wide variety of sizes that caters from teens to older woman and I've learned that people really appreciate that.
Will you ever launch your own clothing or accessories line?
I'll keep you posted on that :-)
