Tonight is the big night where we say goodbye to 2012 and fully embrace 2013! Our last post of the year looks firmly ahead to Spring/Summer 2013 where we're already thinking about fabulous vibrant hues. Yesterday we looked at Turquoise as it applies to decor and today, it's all about fabulous ensembles from the SS13 runway show from Noon by Noor which is perfect for brunches, hanging out with the girls and all of our lounging that we'll do this season. I love this print whether it's in their short jumper or this maxi skirt with a split which looks fab with this olivine shirt. How would we accessorize these looks? We love this cutout cuff which combines turquoise and bronze by Pamela Love, pick up the green hues from the second look with Armenta's green turquoise and black diamond ring and complete with Stephen Dweck with his pebble necklace. So a few weeks ago one of my readers asked what was on my holliday wish list this year! With it being the last day of November and us heading into the last month of the year (can you believe it) - I had to give you a peek on a few items that I will be looking for under our tree this year. As you know, I'm always about accessories and having something fun to put on! So since this year has been quite a year to make for a great 2013, I am definitely looking for Santa to bring a few things my way that will come in handy! As many of you know I'm OBSESSED with Balenciaga from their city bags in various sizes to their cosmetic cases. I love them in a number of hues but this rose golden bag is perfect no matter what coast I'm on or what season! When it comes to rocking something fabulous and decadent, I think back to one of my favorite jewelry brands, Konstantino - I adore this blue topaz. When it comes to natural stones, I love this agate cuff from YSL which is perfect for casual days or my power meetings when I'm going over design concepts or an upcoming event that I am hosting.

Of course, I wear many hats so in addition to being an Accessories Expert, the founder of this site and other items - I am also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Shoe Week and having too many shoes is never a bad thing! I adore peep toe heels, over the knee boots and sandals (AND I have a thing for flip flops - Havaianas of course)! I'm fortunate that my work allows me to travel all over so I'm always buying summer clothing even when temperatures here in NYC are much colder! These K Jacques sandals are so fun as I love that there is the shocking pop of patent leather color and then calf hair - perfect for my kaftans and maxi dresses which are a tropical must! When it's time to go glam or to dress up my jeggings, I'm always a fan of anything by Giuseppe Zanotti - especially with these amber suede heels! Finally it's all about over the knee boots - Casadei is a must to have in my closet from peep toes and beyond!

People who know me, know that although I have an amazingly diverse closet - I am a fan of black and grey. When it comes to my look of choice, I love maxu dresses and keeping it simple such as this one available at Far Fetch. I love that with amazing pieces, this is a look that can take you from day to night and lookin gfab even in this heat! This Carol Marie antiqued metal double Ethopian necklace is a must and so cute with this racerback option. Slip on this fab House of Harlow ring which continues the mixed metal look. Slip on a pair of flat sandals from Guiseppe Zanotti the touch of a gem is amazing. Slip on this Sibilla Celine cuff bracelet at Urban Outfitters. Finally, I love this large bag with the pop of eggplant (purple and grey are such a great combo) which is perfect for running errands by Victoria Beckham.

Last night was such a great night! There's something about great ideas coming together! Although this is not the full recap, I had to share! About a week ago, Celebrity Hair Stylist, Kristan Serafino and Beauty Blogger of Serafino Says and I talked about life, business and everytihng in between. By the end of the conversation, we knew we wanted to create an event that had celebs, beauty and accessories! Within less than a week, Accesshairize was born! None of this would have been possible without our great partner and sponsor, the James Bentley Salon.

We honored Laura Osnes, the 2012 Tony Award Nominee (our fingers are crossed for her on her big night on Sunday at the TONY Awards) and we chatted all things beauty and accessories while hearing her talk about Broadway, her show Bonnie and Clyde as well as her upcoming role in Cinderella! More details will follow but thank you Bartenura for the fabulous Moscato which everyone enjoyed (and HUGE thanks to Peg Samuel of Social Diva and Stiletto Consulting for the connect). Huge shout out to Nina Handbags and Ted Rossi who have always been phenomenal partners of Kitten Lounge and have carried their support into Accesshairize! I'm glad that Kaaral beauty products and Victoria's Secret had fab spritzers AND we all nibbled on Georgetown Cupcakes that were TONY Award themed. Not to mention, that it came just in time to the season opening of Georgetown Cupcake's new series where they take on opening a shop here in NYC (watch it on TLC tonight at 9pm!).

I live for maxis as it's super easy to wear when you're cozy as well as to accessorize it up! There is nothing nicer than a simple white dress and then of course to pop in fab accessories. What I love about this Kain dress is that it has dramatic elements from a keyhole back to the peeks of what we'll see when it comes to your shoes of choice! I'd definitely pair these simple L.K. Bennett flat leather sandals with this dress as it's a simple shoe as well as a fab color to change the tone of this look.

Pop in another fabulous red hue with this python cuff from one of my accessories designer's Ted Rossi. I'm also loving his white python clutch which is the perfect way to add a crispness to this look! Animal Print is always in season. It's a great way to keep it seasonless no matter what the time of year it is. I also love that for the girl who questions rocking this look, pairing it with black is always a fab choice. Wendy Williams (who I have loved since back in my visual merchandising days when I would hear her radio show while working in various workshops in creating windows. Her "how you doing" kept me going day by day! I'm loving how she looked when she hit the step and repeat for The Hollywood Reporter's 35 Most Powerful People event - and yes she definitely is one! I'm loving her look and of course, I definitely have some ideas on how I would have added a little nuvo glam in there!
Rocking a motorcycle jacket with a chic dress is a fabulous look! Personally, I think that this jacket is a bit too edgy and would actually pair it with Ann Demeulemeester who does leather jacets with a feminine twist to it without losing the edge; moroever, not confusing this as a piece that you would wear if you were actually on a motorcycle. She could rock this look with a fabulous onyx cocktail ring by Ivanka Trump. Keeping it super classic is easy with this Chanel Vintage Coin Cuff which is a great look for any outfit your sporting. Finally, I'm loving her heels; however, I love a rounded peep toe and this pair by Casadei in python is phenomenal and would have taken this look to a whole other level!

I'm such a fan of Kelly Osbourne! She's the perfect mix of sweet and feisty and I love seeing her on E!'s Fashion Police. I also love that Kelly takes care of herself and always shows a number of looks that are on point with the season's trends as well as (more importantly) being true to her own style aesthetic. I love the look she's rocking for Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards this past weekend. I love flowy dresses for special events and Sonja Morgan (earlier this month) hosted Nickelodeon's Orange Carpet Premiere! Yellow is definitely the color of the season and my closet. But there are other fabulous chiffon gowns that you should have on your list. I'm loving Oscar de la Renta's one shoulder silk number which is fabulous and makes you look like the belle of the ball. I also love Halston Heritage's Ocean Degrade Hem dress which has a gradiating hue that also allows a bit of skin to show so that everyone can see how fab your shoes are. I also love this necklace by Bidermann which is a cuff and accents your neck (this works with all three dresses). Gwyneth rocked the Oscars Sun night as she graced the red carpet in a gorgeous Tom Ford ensemble that had a phenomenal gown with a cape that was beyond amazing! Together, the look was perfection! The dress alone still drew eyes to its angles that made her look phenomenal. I also love the cuff that she wore to complete the look. This is the type of glamour that one expects to see on the red carpet; moreover, it is very memorable even days after the show and all of the parties!

We're almost out of January, our first month of the year and already, I'm thinking of vacation in the spring! With that said, we have to think about the brands that are a must to bring with you when it's time to take some time for yourself! First off, when it's time for Paul and I to take some super much needed time, my bag isn't complete without Norma Kamali! I have to say that I am typically not a girl who would wear a one piece; however, this classic piece is one that I would wear as it brings an essence of old world nostalgia with a sexiness of what a swimsuit can bring. This emerald suit is definitely a stunner and I love that today's accessories support this look with one of my favorite stones being jade! What I love most about this is - if you're taking a vacation with mixed groups whether it's family, friends, etc this style of suit allows you to show off your assets without being as obvious as wearing a bikini if you're in a quandry of what you should pack in terms of being appropriate.

Emilio Pucci's cuff is fabulous decadent and the perfect item to compliment the fab swimsuit. Gypsy Explore has a phenomenal necklace that is perfect for the halter swimsuit which is a great way to showcase this piece. In addition, I love the tassel and the ornate quality that is bound to draw stares. A girl should always have her handbag, so I'm loving the large envelope clutch by Pour La Victoire which has fun hardware and picks up this fab color that I can't get enough of. Slip on Tuleste Market's gold and tiger double egg ring which is a great way to add a little edge to the look. Finally, rock the entire look with a fun shoe from Fendi which adds another hue but is the perfect way to make you look phenomenal when you're on deck, in the cabana or wherever your destination takes you.

Next week is the Chinese New Year and of course there are ways to sport this through fab accessories that I have curated for you today! I'm in love with Daniela Swaebe's Dragon Horn Cuff which will look fab with any outfit that you're rocking! When it comes to necklace options, I'm always a fan of John Hardy's dragon pieces and love this necklace with the dragon encircling you and closing this piece with this fab ring. If you're not glamming it up and going for a casual look, Borgioni's dragon necklace sitting on the horn is a perfect look. Paula Patton stunned as she hit the Red Carpet for the Golden Globes, which unofficially kicks off award season! As I watched the Red Carpet on E! I was pleased to see this sunny bold choice and although many celebs hit the carpet with limited accessories, Paula had a fab clutch by Judith Leiber, Kwiat Jewelry to compliment her Monique Lhuillier strapless dress.

Paula's look was super sweet but if you wanted to pop in some edge and bit more drama, I would have rocked the black and gold choker necklace with rope detail which is available at Luisa Via Roma and the fab cuff by Aurellie Bidermann which has fab lace detailing. Finally, I'd slip on this Le Vian ring which is fabulous in gold and diamonds and definitely allows everyone to take a second look wherever your runway happens to be.

I love when you have those rare moments during the holiday season where you get to enjoy your own space and silence. I love sitting by my Christmas Tree sipping my beverage of choice while working and enjoying the decorations. I also love in the evening, wrapping gifts in loungewear to prep for the next day of gifting. With that said, one of my favorite stones is Turquoise. What I love most about this stone is that although many think about it for warmer weather, it has a crispness that is perfect for colder climates as well. It's a striking stone with complexities and other hues within it. Today's 5s shows how this stone amps up your robe as you go about your day. I'm obsessed with Carine Gilson as this brand is lingerie couture to be sure. This fabulous yellow, lettuce lace edging and perfect bow adds a bit of spice to your daily routine that will only be enhanced by fab accessories.

To enhance the look, I love a simple necklace by Halleh which is 18Kt gold turquoise on a suede chord. I love its simplicity as it can be paired with Amanda Sterett's Cleo earrings which are turquoise with fabulous stones included within the loops. Once again, I include Stella Flame as I am a fan of their pieces and this fiery turquoise ring is ornate as the brand is known for their Byzantine style and has a great depth in texture. Devon Leigh has a fabulous cuff with turquoise that contains a hint of a green hue in this hammered style cuff. I love the raw effect of this piece and how it plays well back with the robe. Finally, if you would like to kick the overall look up for whatever reason, you can never go wrong with a peep toe heel in - turquoise! Gianvito Rossi has a fabulous pair of pumps in a lush suede that are super cute. Now note, that this entire look doesn't have to be worn together. If you opt to rock it all, then I know that you definitely know how to luxe your style; however, this is such a fab blueprint in terms of picking and choosing!

We continue with my Kimmie's 5s which looks at the top 5 Accessories that create a designated look. Today, our accessories will build a cozy look that's perfect for running errands but also allows you to grab drinks and a nice dinner! Nothing is better than a fab cowl neck sweater by DKNY in a fabulous tomato red hue! I love this hue as it's not holiday red, or a cherry version and it looks amazing on some many skin types. Pair it with a pair of jeggings by Paige Denim. This is a great look but of course, we want to do a nuvo glam on this and take it to rugged chic!

First off, this pair of Sperry Trinity Hiking Booties which gives a slight nautical look but has the rugged look with a fab stacked heel on it. As you run out the door, the Pendelton weekend bag will ensure that you're able to take a number of items that will allow you to tackle your lists to do as well as to bring gifts with you! When it comes to your jewelry, a simple Large Gold Necklace will lay nicely next to your cowl portion of the sweater. When you push your sleeves up (as I definitely do this) , this Mallarino Alejandra vermeil cuff is the perfect balance of bling while having that fab ornate look that I look for that adds in the glam factor to a heavy rugged look. Finally, Stephen Dweck has a gorgeous ring that has agate as well as delphinium which is perfect to add another hue into the look!
