Legally Blonde is one of my favorite movies. Some people like to draw parallels and although there may be similarities, the character is pretty genuine and is definitely a friend in deed. Now I have yet to see the Broadway production but I was on the website of my favorite pink nail salon, Dashing Diva, and I noticed something very interesting! Although I have yet to get this pedicure, I am such a fan of Dashing Diva and absolutely refuse to go anywhere else unless it's another one of their locations. On the day of the DVF shoot, I decided to walk. Why I did this on a day that was a little chilly and still a little rainy - I don't know. But I have to say that I enjoyed walking down 5th Ave to see everything that was around. By the time I got closer to the Meat Packing District, I noticed this super cute bakery known as Billy's Bakery. Right now I am in a bit of a cupcake battle. I have to say that I am a Buttercup Cupcake girl and my sister is in love with Magnolia Bakery; however, I am always interested in trying something new. The inviting look of this yummie bakery definitely made me think of stopping by on a day when it wasn't busy. I love the mint green bench and how everything is in a light yellow trim that reminds you of something to be found on a cupcake!

Although I didn't go in, there were tons of people in this cute little shop that definitely made me think that this was the place for me to try and perfect to bring your best friend or sig other! After visiting the site, I loved seeing that you could buy cute merchandise and read up on a lot of press as well. As the weather gets better, start taking some trips around the city and make Billy's Bakery apart of your travels. Whether you love cupcakes, Key Lime pies or more this is the perfect way to pair up your Soy or Organic Milk with something extra tasty I also love that they run some late hours as well which is perfect for a late night sugar urge.

First off, Coutorture has an amazing segment that looks at amazing designs and pairs them with starfish. For example, looking at this beautiful dress, you can see a bit of the starfish on the right! As many of you know, I am all about style, entertainment and a great time as well. To this end, I want to introduce the component of travel. Throughout the next few weeks of the summer and going into Indian Summer/the fall, I will be taking you into places that are a car, plane or train ride away. We all have our favorite places to go to and sometimes with half day Fridays and extended weekends you want to go somewhere that you weren't aware of whether it is down the turnpike or in another state! I hope to bring you cute restaurants, boutiques and so much more. It will be like an ongoing travel guide of sorts which you can refer to no matter when you opt to go! You guys March is almost over and our homage to THINK CITRUS is rapidly coming to a close and bringing us closer to next month's focus which I am VERY excited about.
