Today it's all about the love and this week, I've shown you various ways to put looks together for Valentine's Day! Maybe you're preparing for the long weekend, Couture/Fashion Week or Valentine's Day! You could be heading out to cocktails or Valentine's themed events. I'm not a person that wears a lot of red but with this weekend, I'm willing to let my accessories speak for me. When you feel like you can't wear a color in your clothing, you find a way to wear it within your accessories. Anyone of these accessories can be paired with a simple look (for me it would be a cute black tunic like this with leggings) and then you can choose all or some to pop in the red! I love the cuff by Burberry as it combines sterling silver which is always a favorite. I lve this ring as it's the perfect chunky cocktail ring that is bound to catch people's attention. Although you will rarely see me in earrings, this pair made of Swarovski Crystals, is my favorite! Finally, it was while looking at Vogue Latin America, when I was introduced to Tabitha Simmons and this sexy pair of Sophie heels! These shoes are such a must and are super Carrie Bradshaw!
When you step out this Valentine's Day everyone is going to notice your fab outfit, the smile and that you have a certain glow but people may not ask how that glow was achieved. Although people will assume that it's the fact that you're coming off of the beginning days of Couture/Fashion Week and that you have stamina to attend all the shows and that you're going to rock on through Valentine's Day and President's - you know the secret essentials that are necessary for your look! We kick it off with energy. I have been taking SoU! Energy vials daily and I am obsessed. It's so easy to take this liquid that goes into whatever you drink to ensure that you're able to attend everything that you have always participated in. Of course, no matter how good we are to ourselves with eating right, yoga and visiting friends - sometimes unwanted friends (pimples yuck) decide that they want to hang out. The only way to deal with them effectively is during the time that we actually take a break. Ensure that your lashes are lush with Rapid Lash! Finally, you have to have kissable lips and Carmex Moisture Plus will do just that and ensure that you're have that movie star sheen! All of these are an essential and the good news is that they are not relegated to just being used on the day of Love or on a day where you really have to wow people - they are your everyday essentials.
Yes Valentine's Day is a week ago but you have to start thinking about your outfit. This year in NYC, the day of love takes place during Fashion Week, Couture Fashion Week, and more! In fact, with it falling on a Sunday and President's Day being the next day, you know that everyone will be out with their significant other or whatever group will hang out with you. So with that being said, there are various looks that you can go for on this day! Today's look is for the sexy sweet look that gives you the overall effect of designer clothes done in a very casual way! First off, I love this lace dress that has a great blush look to it so that you're not doing full on pink but it's enough to show the hint! Paired with the heels from Badgley Mischka, it makes you feel like you're living a bit of a Carrie Bradshaw moment (remember when she had the pink shoes that got rained on but were super cute) and to add a bit of depth, we pair it with a leeter clutch bag of python, a smoky quartz cocktail ring and a natural stone necklace. Whether you have a full night ahead of love or you're breaking it up between Fashion Week and some loving cocktails, you're ready for Sunday night! For more lovely ideas check out our Love Guide.
