Shoe Sundays ~ Rose Inspires Your Decor

Interesting factoid about me, I don't like roses as a flower. So, Paul doesn't give me an arrangement of roses - but that doesn't mean that I don't like roses! In fact, I love it in my lip gloss, my toners, skincare and so much more. Last week, while I was in Philly, Paul went to Lush and got a number of bath products that smelled like roses. It was such an amazing aroma and of course when I began to think about this week's Shoe Sundays - I thought of rose/mauve hued shoes. The inspiration comes from Jill Stuart.

Roll over the above images to see why this would be great to include within your decor. Items have been curated from Horchow, Crate & Barrel, Voluspa and Kartell.

Shoe Sundays: Spring Into Fresh ~ Noir

Can you believe it's not only Easter Sunday but it's the last day of March? The time has flowing and knowing that we have run through 3 months of the year is not exactly computing. It's around this time of year that I do begin to think about transitioning into Spring and my hopes get higher and higher for a quick turnaround into the summer. For the month of April, there will be a number of themes and one of them will be Spring Into Fresh. Whether it's new additions into your wardrobe, home or new concepts - I'll be covering them!

SHOE INSPIRATION

Black is such a classic and never goes out of style when it comes to the perfect black pump and I'm obsessed with these Saint Laurent heels which are a fabulous ankle strap and makes your legs pop no matter what you happen to be rocking with them.

GET THE DECOR LOOK

With the theme of Spring Into Fresh, you can't help but think about the air that you breath. So start at the basic level - there are a number of allergens in the air and being at home, it should be a sanctuary and fresh air is a primary on my list this year! Best Buy has a number of air purification systems to ensure that you're breathing in clear air that will assist you whether you're working, relaxing and of course when you're sleeping. For those in the market, check out a current offer that is available when thinking about your air purifiers. With all of the fresh air that you're bringing into your system - it should definitely be fragrant! There are a number of candle options and as you roll over the images so that you're able to see why I enjoy these aromatics. I do love the fact that black within decor has a sensual as well as a great grounding hue to ensure that you have pops throughout.

Shoe Sundays ~ Denim Decor

Denim is for more than just what you wear when you're out and about, it's a fabrication that's perfect for the home as well. I have some fabulous finds that I know are perfect for your living rooms and kitchen.

SHOE INSPIRATION

When I think of great casual style, I think of denim and today's inspiration comes from a great classic casual brand, Coach which has a heel that you'll love wearing with a number of outfits to add a twist to your Americana looks. Why relegate this fabric to just your outfits, continue to infuse it throughout the home.

GET THE DECOR LOOK

Infuse this hue throughout your space whether it's this color OR other arrays of color. Take some time to roll over the images to find out what I'm loving within this theme.

Shoe Sundays ~ Green Your Decor

Happy St Patrick's Day! Yesterday as the snow fell off and on throughout the day, I saw people making their way to 5th Ave to check out the parade that was taking place. Everyone rocked green and as the day turned to night, even the Empire State Building donned this hue yesterday as well as later on tonight. Green is such a revitalizing color and when you roll over today's images, you'll find items that are perfect in your bedroom and living room whether it's your home or you're thinking of items to take to your vacation home.

SHOE INSPIRATION

The shoe inspiration from this curated post comes from the work that I have been doing on one of my other brands' Shoe Week which launched last Sept during NYFW with a number of shows. Although we're working very hard on NYFW for this Sept, we have a number of projects throughout this year where we work with our clients. EXPATRIATE is a fabulous line designed by Kita Nolley which brings in her love for traveling to a number of destinations. Based in Atlanta, she transports you to other portions of the world. This Thurs, she will hit the runways during Charleston Fashion Week to show her line and Shoe Week partnered with her to find the perfect heels to complete her looks! United Nude is all about architectural design as the designer works in tandem with an architect to create these shoes that have been included in a number of runway shows from London, Milan, Paris, NY and much more.

ROLL OVER THE IMAGES TO GET THE DECOR

I'll keep you in the loop as I make my way to Charleston to show you the line and the fab heels from United Nude. In the meantime, you can enjoy what should be in your home and how a little green can make your space refreshing.

Mingling Mondays: Events ~ Marshalls Spring 13 & Maria Menounos

Some were worried about the winter storm that was coming to NYC but by the time I headed out to check out the Marshall's preview for Spring 13, I realized it was just going to be rainy for the evening. Earlier last week, Marshall's was the sponsor for Oxygen's The Face (and of course, my team, Team Naomi won the challenge). There were a number of presentation with the loft space showcasing how Marshall's is a destination for style with items for working out, being out and about, for your living room, home office and even when you're entertaining. Hosting this fun event was the fabulous Maria Menounos who is a host on Extra, who debuted her movie (later in the week) Serial Buddies and is the author of the Everygirl's Guide to Life. It was great to hear about how she personally enjoys working with the brand as she has been a long standing customer! On her list of musts for this season, (which is great for all of us) is pops of color, pointy toe shoes, items for her pups, pillows and beautifying her office. In addition, Nicole Feliciano of Mom Trends (who I love that in the past few weeks we keep bumping into each other) and I took a pic with this stylish glam girl who rocked an entire look from this store minus her fabulous Christian Louboutins. Much like the previous post, it's definitely fun to cast a wide net in order to shop around for items that are perfect for all of your looks within your lifestyle!

Shoe Sundays: Spring Prep ~ Get Your Office in Order

It's been shoetastic in my world as a number of items have found there way into my closet. With so many, I have been outfitting my office with them as when I'm not wearing them, they become art that everyone can enjoy when they're here. When I like a color, texture etc I find a way to bring it into my living and work space so that I can shake things up a bit. Although there has been a lot of inspiration, I love certain elements that scream Spring/Summer which works well for the current season and can be warmed up during the fall and winter to create a light look when the skies are grey.

SHOE INSPIRATION

When it comes to my handbags, Balenciaga is never far from my thoughts - the City Bags in a number of colors, how can I possibly be expected to choose? But they also have phenomenal footwear as well. I'm loving these Espadrilles that combine navy, white and beige. I love the striped effect which creates a classic preppy feel that's super crisp. This particular style makes me think of nautical, wicker and more which is perfect for an office and allows me to work on deadline, organize samples, get my outfits ready for segments and more.

GET THE DECOR

These shoes made me immediately realize that I needed to have a touch of nautical in my room and I'm in dire need of massive storage. I headed over to Homegoods and found that they had a number of massive baskets and I love that there is a lid. This basket is completely filled with beauty product which is great as when people come over, they can take a few goodies over with them! A leaning mirror allows it to lean on the wall so that I can see my look before I pop out (or you can take a few selfies) - white wash is definitely my style as it's crisp and I'm a huge fan of CB2. Every office needs fabulous chairs and your office should also be a great place to do a photoshoot whenever needed and this chair adds structure to the image and of course if from one of my fave places, Horchow.

When it comes to accents, anchor the room with a fab rug such as this grey and white one which is a bit beach and very casual and is available at Macy's. Prop your legs up on this tufted ottoman or put your favorite style books on it to accessorize your room. Finally, I'm a huge believer that every office should have beverages so that you can instantly congratulate yourself for great deals that you closed, segments that were booked or to toast to the weekend. This Bali teak bar cabinet is perfect to sit within your office and easily accessible.

Snazzy Sundays ~ Accented Heels Inspire Decor

As I always say, you never know when inspiration strikes and mine came with this fabulous pair of Gianmarco Lorenzi Double Platform Heels (trademark of this fabulous designer) with exposed zipper detailing within the exposed platform. The detailing of this black shoe allowed me to carry this over into great decor options that can add some pop throughout your home!

In the bathroom, add details such as this black and white Legacy Home Linea Graphic Shower Curtain which has a nice architectural feel. Moving into the bedroom, flatsheets by Natori are another classic with a twist as they have a Ming theme on them. Pair this with bedding by Ralph Lauren as it's a classic that never goes out of style.

Moving into the kitchen, I am a huge fan of Mavea as we use this throughout the day, unlike my Penguin which turns my water into seltzer, this container purifies water and can hold large amounts. Paul and I drink from this everyday and many times, my water filters here before being used for my Penguin or Breville (tea maker that I am also obsessed with). In addition, I love fun dessert plates as these are perfect when you're having something sweet or you want to eat from a smaller plate, I love these Vagabond Vintage Black and White plates.

Moving into the living room or wherever you choose to relax in, I think having a Media Cabinet is a must! You can store your media in here OR it's great in your office if you want to store your accessories which is also another fun way to display as well as organize them. Add fun pillows to your space from Horchow which has visually appealing graphics. Finally, we're always charging our tech everywhere and sometimes you just want to talk with others on a phone (you know the ones we grew up on), so these Bluetooth Handset and Charging Stations available in black and white is perfect and adds a bit of pop in your decor!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Decor Gold

Although gold is not a color people see me wearing in my outfits, it is a color that I love seeing within decor options! I'm inspired by this fab art deco gold and emerald bracelet from Lucas Jack in terms of how to bring this within your home office. This wing tipped chair is the perfect way to establish your work space and of course work from this fab olive brand chest that is ornate.

Now it's all about the accents and the need to accessorize your space on another level. I love this leather Moroccan gold ottoman which can be used to prop your feet as well as to have extra seating space. This gold pillow is also a great choice with its ruching.

When the lighting's right you can get a number of items done and you never know when inspiration strikes so having this Antoinette mirror across the way to catch it is definitely encouraged.

Finally, feel like a queen by popping in emerald to the look whether it's your mug, toasting glass. Finally, even when you're working hard, your nourishment should still be presented in a fabulous way - like this Williams Sonoma fabulous platter which is made out of stone and accented by silver (not gold but I love mixing metal)!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Your Own Decor Escape

It's the long Martin Luther King Jr weekend and inaugural weekend as well! For many, there will be no work on Monday so it's a great time to not only think about freedom in general and how far we have come but also getting some work done whether it's setting up your business, prepping for NYFW, catching some shows, and more. I am a multi-tasker in all that I do and I do a lot of work from the comfort of a number of chairs and couches while I have my shows (E!, Bravo, WE, Style and more in the background). It's so important that your workspace whether you work from home or in an office, you need to have a zen space as we work hard but should do so comfortably. As you know, I'm a huge fan of grey and like to bring it into my wardrobe as well in to my decor.

It's all about the chair, I love a great leather one that I can work upright in as well as to curl up in and this one available at Neiman Marcus is perfect. This retailer has a number of other great finds including this Giorgio Armani weekender in embossed croco. I love that it's such a fabulous traveling companion that it's perfect to accessorize your space with this great piece which ensures you're always ready to travel.

Pop in some color with this fun Chaps Seychelles pillow from Kohl's which has a nice worn look to it. Kohl's also has a coffee table from Sonoma Life + Style with storage baskets which is perfect in the home office. For additional storage which also serves as an ottoman, is from Martha Stewart. Continue popping in other grey elements with a cashmere throw from Design Within Reach which has a fab herringbone pattern. Curl up under this lamp from Ylighting with your tablet that is inside this Tod's iPad case. While sitting in my zen space, I enjoy drinking a lot of tea and having it with this Jonathan Adler cup is a perfect way to plug through your day. Finally, it's about the smaller details such as a vase form Venini which is perfect for your arrangements as well as this box which is great for odds and ends (I put my jewelry in them as I think it's essential to have a jewelry box to put your items in in every room) from Ethan Allen.

Snazzy Sundays: Kitten Lounge Loft ~ Tackling Our Fashion Office

Tackling The Office

- Find comfy seating for pitch meetings and watching video feeds for future coverage

- Organize our samples for shoots and vids

- Create a cozy nook for shoots and vids

- Create inspiration with our samples by having them displayed in the office - it is fashionable after all

- We agree with Bravo's Jeff Lewis that every evening should be a martini break at the office

We have been working like anything to turn one of the Kitten Lounge's spaces into a hybrid between a closet as well as a room to work in which allows us to shoot videos and to hold our meetings internally! Although there have been some ups and downs, it's good to get to the point of thinking of what to bring into the space. We have plans of making this fully functional within the next few months and as I'm a fan of making lists, you can see above what we're focused on! We want comfy seating so we can chat as well as to watch red carpet coverage from the office as we tweet or to think about what I'm wearing when I'm on the way to thinking about my segments. Samples are a huge issue with us as we shoot with them, use them for our spreads and more. We also want to have a section where we can do shoots here for things that don't need a huge production around it. Our samples stay a bit longer then we initially think whether we use them for a number of projects, are awaiting for them to go back somewhere or it's decided that they become owned by us - why store them away when it can become apart of our decor - hello storage that keeps them in a dedicated space but allows us to be inspired! Finally, we love on Bravo that Jeff Lewis' team is known for having martinis at cocktail 'o clock and we do too! There's something about toasting the end of a successful Fashion Week season, projects we've enjoyed closing (which is all of them) or to hail my return after a long trip - all of it needs to be done well and why not start here.

I want to share with you our initial points to tackle as we continue to go forward! I've been obsessed with the Napa Kitchen/Bar Carts for awhile and this one from JCPenney is perfect as it makes your options mobile. A simple drink can now open itself up to having light snacks whether it's after work or watching Fashion Police! Bookshelves are fantastic when they're art even when empty! We're excited to see our shoes, jewelry pieces and more sitting there on this Maria Yee Ventana shelf on Gump's. A proper bar set is key and is the only civilized thing to have in the office we love this Waterford barware set. We love a fabulous coffee table that can double as quick seating such as this reclaimed table from Anthropologie. I grew up with wing tip chairs in the living room as well as having them in my mother's bedroom! It's so decadent and I think no room should exist without one and this Biltmore Chair - this is perfect for the office and can also work well in a shoot. Glam it up with these Marrakesh style pillows from Horchow with this rich orange hue - amazing! We will keep you up to date on the progress and once completed or within our beginning steps, we will show you as well. Going forward, many of our videos will be done here so you'll see how it all worked out and the brands that graciously became our sponsors for our enlightened and inspirational space!

Snazzy Sunday ~ Marrakech Style

It's the last Sunday of 2012, how did so many days go by? Like many of you, I feel that I am in the midst of doing a lot of changes in my work and living space in order to increase my productivity as well as to change up where I am! I love an antiqued and aged quality every now and then! Turquoise is one of my favorite colors and makes me think of beaches and everything that is amazing about warm climates; however, it's also a rich color when you think of Marrakech style which is what is being presented today. Whether it's a study, living room or just an area that you are reviving like a reading corner - this is a great way to introduce a new hue to your living space.

Starting with Neiman Marcus, this Old Hickory Tannery sofa is perfect - I'm a huge fan of tufted furniture and love how cozy it makes a room look. This garden stool from Gump's will serve as a great side table and has a nice high gloss finish. If you have a book case or other flat surface, Anthroplogie has a fabulous votive which adds a hint of whimsy with their votive! Warm up your floors with this fabulous Mughal Crewelwork Rug and liven up your walls with these curtains to complete the look!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Deck Your Holly

If you're running around today to get some last minute shopping done whether it's for gifts or to get your home in order for guests, it's not REALLY last minute as this is the day before Christmas Eve and the last Sunday prior to Christmas Day. The Kitten Lounge has been remote working on a number of fab updates that will take affect in the new year but we're definitely in holiday mode! Today, we're inspired by green and how this can be in your home as guests come over! As there is nothing wrong with a little sparkle, we had to share this show stopping dress that's perfect during the holiday season and is very regal by Alice + Olivia. This is perfect whether you're planning for a New Year's Eve party, an innauguration or another special event in your life.

Bring in some pop of this color as well as other hues of green with this vase by Crate and Barrel and an open mouthed container that's colorblocked at Anthropologie to add some decor options into your space. As you may be spending some hours cooking a fabulous meal or having others assist, ensure that you're in the holiday season with Staub's cooking set essentials (available at Williams Sonoma cooking) which is perfect for what you'll be having. Finally, sit down at your dinner table with plates by L'Objet Fortuny. From now until the end of year, we'll bringing some fun lists of things that we love, recapping over the following year and spending a bit of time down memory lane!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Citrus Hues Inspired

We know that in 2013, Emerald is the color of the moment throughout the year; however, we have to pay hommage to this year's color that was crowned by Pantone for 2012 - Tangerine. What an amazing hue that is perfect whether it was worn during the summer or in the fall. We had to share some of our favorite finds from this year and of course, wanted to show how it can still be infused throughout your home! French Connection has a fabulous dress that mixes various hues of orange which will make you look fabulous whether it's for a holiday party or something for the spring!

First we have to start in the bedroom, how can you not love this pop of tangerine with this bedding including a duvet and sham by Dwell - how can you not love how crisp it looks! Add this Boden chair to your vanity or use it as a little stool. Move into the kitchen with my favorite latte bowls (I have them in grey) in the orange hue and available at Anthropologie. When making fun beverages, put them in these Bormioli Rocco glasses (we need the bright pink ones for the Kitten Lounge Loft stat). With guests coming over, add these washcloths to your towel rack as they have stripes of orange and are super chic thanks to DKNY. After a busy day, rest in this Soren Chair and enjoy the scents of Archipelago Botanical's mango tangerine!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Gold Chemise Inspires Your Holiday Decor

There's nothing like snuggling in your home whether it's curling up with a loved one, a good book, your laptop, watching TV or whatever you do when you get inside your four walls! As always, every Sunday we look at how to enhance our living space with a nod to a fab fashionable item. Today, we've fallen in love with this fabulous Mary Green (in addition to doing fabulous lingerie, she is also the designer of fabulous sleep masks and it wasn't until including today's chemise, that I realized that she created the very much so coveted Breakfast at Tiffany's inspired sleeping mask that you may have seen all over a number of websites - so on our list this year and a must when traveling) 1930's chemise which is available at Brooklyn Fox Lingerie! I love the ornate silk and lace garment which is perfect for lounging around the house on a weekend! You can also check out more items available at this fab boutique as in addition to lingerie, they have a number of swimwear brands, shapewear and more. This classic hue can be placed throughout your home just in time for the holiday as well as when this season is over.

Deck your trees, mantles and more with these fabulous Gold Sequin Ornaments which keep the holidays as accessorized as it should be thanks to the Land of Nod! Add more pop and texture to your window seat, bed, couch or favorite chair with this fabulous Donna Karan Glimmer Star pillow at Neiman Marcus. Place your petite gifts in these fab Champagne Frost Christmas Stockings at Neiman Marcus. Feel like royalty with Isabella Collection by Kathy Fielder in a Damask style at another of our fave retailers, Horchow. Adorn your walls with a Gold Antoinette Mirror at Neiman Marcus and after a day of enjoying the indoors in a luxe way, prepare your beverage of choice in Same Cristallerie Four Gold-Patterned Goblets Neiman Marcus.

Snazzy Sundays ~ Winter Escapes

With the hectic holiday coming up, you have to do some mental escapism. We were checking out Anthropologie (our favorite store) and found some items that would be perfect. We love this tent (the floor is not included) because you can create your own oasis. Imagine being on an island and prior to arriving, having a team add a floor to the bottom of the tent so that you could move furniture into the space. Check out the inset as the inside has that warm carnelian hue on the walls. If you're floating within a tent, you want lounging furniture, fun pillow pops and of course, you want to have a few mixed cocktails so why not continue the orange hues within this fab Kumquat Pitcher! I believe that the final layer is the perfect bikini and this Missoni as well as fun Quiksilver board shorts for him!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Clutches Set the Tone

You never know where inspiration for your decor strikes but when it comes to my accessories, I let that take the lead! I'm obsessed with Ramiro Encizo who has this fab back that's blue and black! What I love is that if you look carefully. there are a blend of hues in blue which is perfect to dress up an outfit or to ensure that your living and dining rooms are set! I am a huge fan of Moroccan vibes and infusing other motifs within them. I'm loving this Knoll couch which reminds me a bit of the 60's parties and is perfect to catch a snoozy with the perfect throw. Enjoy nibbles dipped in various flavors by DVF. For a bigger spread, this Ethan Allen tray is decorative and can hold anything you have been whipping up in the kitchen. Keep the lighting intimate with this pendant light from Ylighting. Keep the theme coming with these fab shakers that continue the Moroccan theme at Macy's. Pillows add an extra layer of texture and are perfect with the theme and we're huge Horchow fans!

Snazzy Sundays ~ A Little R&R

This is the last weekend before a massive holiday so we have to relax and enjoy our homes prior to all the activity that is about to place. On weekends like this, we want to relax with our friends and roomies over tea, drinks and sushi! We love Haute House's tufted sofa available at Neiman Marcus which brings Old World charm to your home and is fab to pop your pillows of choice. This Taka table is also available at Neiman Marcus as this is another way to ground the room and to create warmth. Bodum's tea pot is a perfect way to infuse your tea or have tea cocktails which can be enjoyed in Jars glasses which has this great Grecian - antiqued vibe. Sip cocktails from these Marc Blackwell fabulous glassware which has accents of silver. Extend your seating with these felted wool stone pillows by Viva Terra which continue pops of grey within your living room. Finally, have this sushi set by Rosenthal at the ready. Whether you make your own sushi OR you order take out, this is a great way to present it.

Snazzy Sundays ~ Long Weekend

We do love a long weekend and with it being Veterans Day tomorrow, this is a great way to relax a bit and to truly prep for the week ahead! With that said, your room is your sanctuary and if you have the opportunity to put more elements in it, why not? I've always been a fan of Damask for decor and love that you can infuse this within your bedding. Available at Neiman Marcus, these quilts (as well as other portions of the bed) can add an old world quality to the look. You can also ensure that it speaks to your personality by mixing other solid or prints with it to make it your own. Open up the room by having an amazing mirror, this Venetian style looking glass makes your room feel like a parlor or drawing room.

I love a lazy day in bed or a productive one in bed! Either way, having tea is an essential way for me to get moving and although I am OBSESSED with my Williams Sonoma, I do love this flared tea pot set by Joyce Chen. Of course if you have enough room, there should always be a seating area in your room as sometimes a day in one space needs to be broken up. I'm loving Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams rectangular ottoman.

Snazzy Sundays ~ A New Day

As we're barely in the month of November, there are so many things that are going on. Here on the East Coast we work harder to get back to our lives with the aftermath of Sandy from getting back to our schedules, reconnecting with people and pushing forward. We're days away from the election, days from the holidays, just reset our clocks an hour back and just having that sense that the calendar year is about to flip to 2013. It's a lot of change and whether you're overwhelmed or excitedly forging ahead, there is a sense of getting in the mindset to move forward!

For me, my job requires that I do a bit of traveling generally a few days here and there and I have to have everything I need nearby and to make it functional so that I am not lugging an insane amount of items. I have been obsessed with fabulous luggage from weekenders, rolly bags and garment bags! With the sense that I am going to go into these last few weeks determined to do some shake ups of my own, today's post is based on this vibrantly yellow Cantarelli bag. It makes me think of travel whether I am on HSN, designing a line, doing a press trip or actually getting a much needed getaway! There is something about yellow that is powerful and subtle. With the need to push forward, I find that when I get focused in one area it spills into everything. So changing it up within my decor to continue my inspiration, yellow can be infused within my bathroom with Home Source International towels. In the kitchen there are a number of ways to pop in yellow just to freshen things up with Spoonula sets from Rachael Ray, a cast iron pot from Staub, a tea and/or coffee set from Bed Bath and Beyond and fabulous bowls from BIA Cordon Bleu. When it comes to entertaining and bringing friends over, keep it fun with these ice duck trays from Lekue and keep them cold by placing them in this Bodum bucket with ice pincher!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Owl it Up

A few weeks ago, I received a fabulous owl necklace which has only made me want to think of ways to incorporate this into decor options! I'm obsessed with Heather Moore's owl charm and it's today's inspiration. For your bedroom or wherever you place your jewelry after wearin git for the day, how about this Owl Trinket Dish from Urban Outfitters. When it comes to the kitchen, we're loving that Pottery Barn has owl plates as well as a punch bowl that incorporates the owl's tree branch! This is perfect for holiday parties. Clean up spills with this dishtowel from Anthropologie and as you sip a bit of espresso, these mugs are perfect and available at West Elm.

Snazzy Sundays ~ LAQA & Co Inspires

A few years ago, I found out about LAQA & Co and loved that they had a nail pen which allowed you to paint your nails (which keeps your hands steady as you apply color). While I was doing appearances in New Orleans, I was flipping through my weeklies and found that this same brand had the Fat Lip Pencils! I love these - for the past few times that I have been on HSN, I have used these types of pencils to fill in the lip which creates a glossy look and then layer it with another gloss on top. I had to get more nail colors and test out this lip pencil! I will definitely share in a post next week about this but for now, the Fat Lip Pencil in Fairyblood (True Blood is coming on later tonight so I love that the name reminds of one of my favorite shows) and then Fancypants Nail Polish Pen in grey. As is typical of every Sunday, I love showing how accessories or beauty items become inspiration for an entire room!

I am such a Breakfast at Tiffanys, Doris Day, etc fan so this reminds me of a drawing room that I would love to have. Voluspa Candles is one of my favorite aromatic brands. I love that the outside of the tins are decadent and that they embody the hues of today's LAQA &Co colors. This tufted couch from Horchow is a great color that is a muted tone while being vibrant. Set up extra seating with this cubed ottoman also available at Horchow. Finally, this blush chandelier is the perfect way to tie this room together.

Snazzy Sundays ~ Rhuby Inspires Decor

My inspirations reach far and wide when it comes to putting a room together. The other week, I had the opportunity to try Rhuby, a liqueur that has rhubarb in it! Without a doubt I had to try it in at least 2 of the favorite ways that I like to have a beverage at home! My first choice was mixing it in tea. Thanks to my boyfriend's mom she has made me obsessed with the Breville (available at Williams - Sonoma which brews teas. Simply select your favorite then highlight the button that corresponds with your tea and you have the perfect cup. I have also been making iced tea by basically brewing it and then putting it over ice and making it in large pitchers. So after brewing some Jasmine Tea, I included some Rhuby which had a very nice flavor to it - super light and I didn't need sugar as the liqueur was all that I needed in it to make it sweet! She also got us the Penguin which turns water into seltzer (also available at Williams - Sonoma). I love this as I mix a lot of my drinks with seltzer and so I simply put in the Rhuby which allowed me to enjoy the full sweet and slightly tart taste of this drink! Although this is a beverage that comes out of Sweden, it just became available in NYC on June 1st so I will have to try other ways of having this drink and I can't wait to see the bottle which reminds me of perfume!

With such a fab pink hue, I thought of ways to bring this color into your home. Obviously in drinkware, I'm loving Anthropologie who has an Aldo pitcher perfect for making a number of drinks at one time and then these interestingly shaped glasses as well. When it comes to popping color on your couch, with the Monumento pillow. Fill this Kosta Boda bowl with some treats for a get together and even light a candle by one of my favorite brands, Vouspa in this pink citron scent!
