Earlier this summer, I told you guys about a party that I had attended that launched new collaborations and styles that Charlotte Russe had incorporated into their collections. We are all familiar with Charlotte Russe; however, that night I could see that they had stepped into a new direction. In fact, one of the items in my goodie bag has made appearances at various events and girl's nights out as well (I love the bib necklace and the cuff that goes with it)!
This week I went to their Editor's preview and saw various accessories and outfits that will hit the stores of CR later on this month through Feb! When it comes to adding sparkle and bling there are plenty of dresses and tops that can be paired over leggings. There are quite a few cute options for footwear and the pieces are truly versatile. Above is a video of some of their key looks that you'll definitely want to pick up for later!
So today, I'm out and about taping my reality show which you will know more about as we get closer to the air date! I'm super excited to be out but it also makes me think about the fact that the more errands you have, the more you have to have comfort! So on days where it's super hot go easy! Less can be a lot more in many cases. This dress is super easy and is one that you'll notice with a great shape and a fab hue. Pair this with one of my favorite shoes (when I'm not wearing heels) these chandelier shoes are a staple at Victoria's Secret and yes they have a version of it in heels - yes I own a pair in that style too! As a side note, they look great with leggings, dresses and yes - jeans. To wrap it up, sometimes it's so hot that you want to pair the accessories down and in this instance, how about a nice ring like this one by Max & Chloe? I love that it's not super matchy matchy since there are various tones of Carnelian! What a great way to look pulled together and ready for whatever the day will bring! The Boyfriend Cardigan is a staple in your wardrobe! This is cute with a pair of jeans, shorts and leggings. No matter what color you have, this is the perfect way to top off the look with super cute booties or with a pair of ballet shoes. I love the Cocoon Sweater as this dresses up whatever you're wearing in an instant! In addition, I love the Splendid sweater as well as it looks very comfortable and is lighter weight as well.
I love gingham and seersucker! These patterns are so cute by being whimsical and yet having such a flirty flair! So is it any surprise that these prints are so prevalent and so much to where during the summer? Where it's cute pants, a dress or a bathing suit - there are so many ways to get this into your wardrobe and it wears well from day to night and in the wee hours as well. How do you accessorize it? When it comes to my favorite shoe, it's flip flops hands down! I could live in these and I love more than just my Havianas. I love the kinds that also look a little less casual and are perfect to wear with dresses. When it comes to the flip flop, it's all about a shoe that is clean and minimal. These shoes are great since they embody this description whether it's Prada, Tod's, Calvin Klein or Stella McCartney. What's my favorite shoe within this collection? I love Stella McCartney because of the color and the details. I also love that her shoes and everything that she creates is totally eco-friendly.
You know that one of my favorite shows during Fashion Week was the Michael Kors show! I loved sitting 3rd row seeing a crisp show with vibrant colors and if you have read previous posts you know that I am definitely a huge fan of his classic American style. With the cold temperatures that have hit New York, I am already planning my super vacation in March! These pieces from his collection are amazing items from their cut to their color! My favorite look is the tunic which is perfect to pair with swimwear or even a pair of jeans or linen pants. It definitely works within a number of looks! he second favorite look are the dresses which are perfect for cocktail parties, the Hamptons or anywhere where you can have a perfect evening with the beach at your doorstep! I love the idea of presenting so many "citrus" oriented items to all of you. This citrus is more of an ode to grapefruit but is definitely something that I think is super cute with many of the flirty tops and dresses that we will be wearing as we head towards summer. These little leather clutches by Rebecca Norman are hand sewn and have this beautiful agate embellishment on each piece. If this pinkish/brown agate is not you, there are other embellishments that you will enjoy. I love this sense of natural bling and feel that this will look amazing with many of your denim looks and super cute heels. Earlier this month, models presented Reem Acra's Pre Fall 2008 Collection. Courtesy of Yahoo and the AP, it's always great to see what evening gowns are on the horizon for next year. I love the regal look of these gowns and have a few favorites that I wouldn't mind having within my own collection (namely within the brown gown's design is absolutely beautiful)!
