I love it! Last week we covered various items that were eco friendly and we decided to continue talking about these items through the end of April! Wil our coverage end here? I don't think so. I think having this included within regular posts will be a great way to ensure that we have numerous ways to do our part. In many ways, I want to bring the most inventive ways that we can keep the Earth looking great while also increasing our closets!
Now when it comes to automobiles, we probably don't look at the seatbelts and think about their major contributions to the overall statement of the car; however, Harvey's Seat Belt Bags will make you think about how amazing it can look when it's on your arm. To get you on the same page, yes these are bags, wallets and clutches that are made out of seatbelts and they come in various colors and bodies as well!
These bags are gorgeous because they consist of the belts that have been rejected from the factories and they have been woven together to create a durable bag. No wonder it has found itself on the red carpet. In addition, these bags can go wherever you feel like heading to. From diaper bags, everyday and evening wear - this bag is definitely a great find that you won't mind sharing!
So tomorrow is the first day of the PGA Golf Show in Orlando so my posts will be more golf oriented. One of the things that I fell in love with in terms of Ame & Lulu was that they understood the need for women to accessorize. I think that having fun pops of color and also something that makes lugging items around easier, adds to the fun of the game. The golf course is truly an accessible field to everyone! Ame & Lulu has created amazing lines that not only give you a lot of variety but allows you to show your personality! With items designated for golf, tennis, yoga and the everyday - you have no excuses to look cute! This Kimono collection mixes brown, cream and hot pink together. Take a minute to check out what could make your game look a lot better!
Today was hot and absolutely amazing! Today I started early in the afternoon at the Big Apple BBQ Fest which took place in Madison Park today and tomorrow! Not only was it hot but it was a lot of fun to see food, music, hear seminars and to hear happy people getting excited about BBQ. I have to say that I was a BBQ novice but after a recent visit to Dinosaur BBQ in Harlem, I had a renewed respect (yes how does a Midwestern girl not get into BBQ until a late age - I don't know but I am definitely interested and got a lot of information). After picking up my press passes (thanks Katy) I went to the seminars first. Sponsored by Snapple and Every Day With Rachael Ray, I really wanted to see what was going on and sit in on a few demos if possible. I had the luxury of making it in to my first cooking demo "On the Side". This was lead by two Food Editors of my favorite magazine - Every Day with Rachael Ray. Pamela Mitchell and Teri Tsang Barrett shared interesting sides that you can include on your barbecue which are just as important as the main attraction! I came in right when they handed out the amazing golden sweet tea and I also sampled the hush puppies that I hadn't had in quite some time. This video clip includes the segment about the hush puppies. Teri is on the right and Pamela is on the left! These ladies were a lot of fun to listen to and was a great way to introduce me to my day!
