Bling hoodie ~ Victoria's Secret

When I'm not running around the city, I love my weekends when I'm hanging out at our beach house in Long Beach! That means wearing lounging clothes throughout the day (you know that I love Victoria's Secret and their Pink collection and this long tank is perfect), getting some reading done (Julie & Julia looks like such a great movie that I want to read the book first) and to enjoy some amazing beverages. These glasses are from CB2 and are in a set of 6 with these super cute vintage labels! Although it's definitely hot out there, in Long Beach there is always a bit of wind (and I'm always on the balcony) so having a hoodie is an essential for the residents of our beach village - one again, it has to be Pink. So with the weekend around the corner, I think that we all need to find a way to enjoy our days off in the most relaxing way possible!

This has been the best weekend, for many of you, you had a half day on Friday, then came Valentine's Day which is a great way to spend with your significant other or special someone(s) and then (if you're in NYC), you woke up to a gorgeous day that begs to be taken advantage of! The fact that this is President's weekend and we can actually enjoy the Sunday without Monday blues - AMAZING! Sunday brunch is one of the best meals of the entire week! I love trying different places or going to one of my favorites (Paris Commune) in the West Village. Today I am doing my first brunch in Brooklyn and I am super excited! During the summer, I would love to host a brunch and anytime you have friends over, presentation becomes everything. I am all about Moroccan elements and a little of the boho style as well. I have created a little spread of great pieces (I love the beverage servers with their antiqued look). If you're thinking of having brunch and are considering items I would suggest the following: a great theme, serving platters, cute glasses, plates and great pitchers! Have a happy sunday and for many of us, we will be off tomorrow so enjoy the long weekend!

Snazzy Sundays: We Love Lolita

Designs by Lolita accessorizes the most significant part of your home - the kitchen and related areas! We all have various glasses that are our favorite whether it comes from Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, etc. Although I love these places and many times my table has been set with these items, it's nice to have something that catches ones eye due to it being something not found in these stores. Designs by Lolita is the answer! I love that from pilsners, martini , margarita glasses and so much more, so much care is taken in the designs of the themed glass, For example, the Pink Ribbon glasses where a portion of proceeds go to supporting the reseach of breast cancer glasses that are available January 2009 are done by hand as are every other item! You know my love for supporting indies and those items which are handcrafted. I also love the Halloween Martini glass as I am a huge fan of candy corn and think this would be perfect when you are having your fall festivities whether it is prior to or after Halloween! These pieces are perfect for your home and for those that are in Clearwater Florida from Oct 5 - 7th, Lolita will be at a signing for Macy's!

Mingling Mondays: Grab Some Rain

Welliewellie How gross is it today? I hate days where it's not only rainy but windy as well! I love that you can at least make the best out of a wet situation by sporting cute wellies by J.Crew! Now I know that this weather is something that makes people want to take a day away from work. If this is what you plan on doing, at least make it productive by hanging out at a coffee or tea shop and finishing that good book or becoming inspired by starting something creative! I love the idea of wearing a scarf, reading glasses (whether you need them or not) and a cute pair of wellies. This is also a great day to go to a gallery as well and pick up a new artist that you have become a fan of as well. Rainy days definitely mean more than just staying inside and getting a few winks. Of course, I could never say that hanging out at home and watching Fancast isn't a bad way to spend the day either (oh I can't wait to settle in to see more of Lipstick Jungle - is anyone else hooked)?

Snazzy Sundays: Pop Up Bar

Westelm No matter how much of a backyard, deck, etc that you have - you can have a pop up bar at your disposal thanks to this super cute piece, known as the Sydney Bar, that's available at West Elm. I love that there is space for you to prep, people can have their drinks on another stand and there are various areas to organize your beverages and tools. I love that you're glasses have a home, there are holes for wine and much more. I think that this is such a great thing to have and feel that it could even be something that you could use within your home for those that may be in large cities where we don't even have space to have a backyard.
