Back in 2007, I launched Kitten Lounge and during that time, there were other sites that had just started as well - Total Beauty was one of them. They were the definitive beauty one stop shop in terms of finding out about a number of beauty items. As everyone knows, the older your site gets, there are changes that allow you to evolve in order to be the best version of yourself! Total Beauty has done just that by having its shops which continues to provide expert advice, how to tips, tricks and unbiased product reviews. I love this time of year! Tons of events and so many more reasons than normal to get snazzy for fun evenings out. I'm loving this Bailey 44 ruched dress that is perfect for the season. This dress on its own is phenomenal for holiday parties, New Year's Eve events and so much fun. But it definitely looks amazing when you pair it with a number of goodies that will allow you to stand out! I adore Le Vian for its strawberry gold with various diamonds. In your hand, this envelope clutch by Emily Cho who has amazing exotic leather prints. I'm a huge fan of Dara Ettinger and her Hayden Stone Cuff has a phenomenal hammering on the arm with a fab natural crystallized stone. I love salads anytime of year but it's around this time of year that I can eat it every single day. Now it's not to say that I eat a minimalist salad, I love tons of goodies as well as creamy dressings! When it's super hot outside, I think it's amazing to have a large bowl of salad (love the natural look) and it's nice every now and then to make it myself. I love having a nice wooden bowl and being able to serve those who are enjoying it with me. In addition, homemade dressing will never have to be mixed in a bowl thanks to this mixer. Complete the perfect look with decorative salt and pepper shakers (am a huge fan of Michael Aram as I just received a picture frame of his) and have your trusty cookbook nearby so that you can have dining options!

Happy Halloween everybody - what are your plans? First, everyone can say a virtual Happy Bithday to my sister who is turning 27 tomorrow (she's growing up so fast sniff sniff)! She will be heading to Japan tomorrow and expect to see some guest posts from her as she captures Japan and brings it back for us to enjoy! Tonight, I am going to head down to Atlantic City where we will eat at PF Changs (I loved this back home), we are staying at the Tropicana, we will hit a few clubs at the hotel (I am going as a Geisha), and then I am so excited about the fact that I will wake up to yummie room service in the morning, a spa at BlueMercury for a Coconut Sugar Body Wrap and lunch at Carmines! This is going to be a great Halloween and I can't wait to send you all the details and to let you know everything that happened.
