Swoonfest Saturdays ~ NBC's Fashion Star Fabulous Hues

Last week I had to share one of the favorite looks that was created by Johana from NBC's Fashion Star. This week she was paired with Daniel again as they had to create separate pieces that are meant to be worn together in order to create a cohesive look! Yet again, I was all about Johana's look as her pencil skirt was perfection and I love Daniel's tops! During the show, there were three distinct variations that made it on the runway; however, when it came to production (as Saks actually bought both), you can see that they have a blush/black ensemble as well as a black/white combo. The beauty of this look is that they look fabulous separately but when placed together, it's as if you have a dress!

Roll over the images to see how I would accessorize the above in terms of shoes and handbags! In addition, see how these items are a universal for your accessories and how you can include it within other looks that you plan on wearing during this season and the next! You'll find these accessories consist of Reed Krakoff, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta and Stephanie Cesaire.

Mingling Mondays: Project Runway ~ Lord & Taylor Challenge

The 9th episode of last week's Project Runway took place at the 5th Avenue Lord and Taylor department store with the inspiration coming from the retailer's signature, "American Beauty Rose", as well as the customer in mind as well and finally finishing the look with selections from L&T's Accessory Wall. The winner, Michelle Franklin, had their piece produced and is sold exclusively at the store's select locations, their website and included within the windows of the 5th Avenue location. Michelle's chartreuse satin colorblock shift dress with chiffon and microsuede trim is the perfect item to include within your spring wardrobes without a doubt.

As many of you know, I'm a huge fan of Lord and Taylor as I love purchasing my outerwear as well as shoes from the 5th Avenue location. I can always find what I'm looking for without having to worry about not finding a sales team to assist me! Above you can see how this dress began in sketch form and how it is available for purchase and how it is styled. Of course, you know when it comes to accessories, I always have a few twists and I love playing with yellow as it's a great neutral to build on top of!

ACCESSORIZE THE LOOK

Here's how I would style this look for myself or for a few of my clients who love playing with neutrals! All of these items are available at Lord and Taylor and are perfect to wear with a number of other looks that you'll wear throughout the Spring and Summer! Roll over the images above to find out more information about getting the above.

Shoe Sundays ~ Denim Decor

Denim is for more than just what you wear when you're out and about, it's a fabrication that's perfect for the home as well. I have some fabulous finds that I know are perfect for your living rooms and kitchen.

SHOE INSPIRATION

When I think of great casual style, I think of denim and today's inspiration comes from a great classic casual brand, Coach which has a heel that you'll love wearing with a number of outfits to add a twist to your Americana looks. Why relegate this fabric to just your outfits, continue to infuse it throughout the home.

GET THE DECOR LOOK

Infuse this hue throughout your space whether it's this color OR other arrays of color. Take some time to roll over the images to find out what I'm loving within this theme.

Treasure Tuesdays ~ Support Your Accessories

As an Accessories Expert, I'm always checking out new pieces that I want to wear or that I want my clients to wear when I style them! My rule for accessories is the same that I have for apparel. When you find yourself fidgeting in your garments or accessories, that's when you know that you need to make sure that things stay put! I have a growing kit that I use whether I'm going out with friends, going on air, prepping for Shoe Week events or styling clients for their music videos or their red carpet moments. Although a lot of my tricks of the trade are things that I have created myself, I love the items in this list as they are a must whether it keeps you looking fabulous or extends the life of what you're wearing.

Sometimes you do actually see me wearing earrings - although it can be a rare site! My ears are sensitive and I don't like the feel of an earring with weight although I think it's gorgeous to wear a pair of cascading chandelier earrings! To offset the weight and to feel a bit more secure, I highly suggest BlingGuard's BlogDots which have 45 pairs that are disposable and come within a tin. You can also use these on your clip ons, pins, brooches and badges.

I love Hollywood Fashion Secrets' Fashion Tape Refillable Gun as we all know it's great when we have garments that need to stay put whether you're ensuring that a wardrobe malfunction doesn't take place but it also has other uses that are not always about items playing peekaboo on you! When I wear scarves or sashes, I actually use the tape to keep the knots tied so that I don't have to tweak it during the day or night. I also like to use this to secure bra straps, to take the extenders on necklaces and to tape it under my dress so they don't peek out when I wear it.

I'm a rounded toe girl but there are times when I wear a pointy toe and my clients definitely love it. Over time, you'll find that your shoe has indentations as your natural gait will create breaks in the pointed toe area. Tip Top Shoe Saver ensures that you can put these little V-shaped items within the toe of the shoe to keep creases away when you're not in them. Each box comes with a pair and is a must when this is the shoe of choice.

You know that my signature is a fabulous ring and of course, I get them sized when they're my own; however, when I am borrowing jewelry from a brand or styling my clients I have to use BlingGuard BlingWraps! These invisible latex free bands ensure that you're rings won't turn around on your finger or slip - which is embarrassing as no one should fidget and have their accessories work against them. There are 30 bands that come in each box which is always good to have on hand.

For those that are driving around, you always wonder about whether you'll ruin your heels! Tip Top Shoe Glove For Heels (check out their version for men's shoes as well as flats for women) slips up the back of your heel so it's completely protected and wraps around your ankle so that your shoe looks fabulous without worrying about any unnecessary brushing.

Finally, we've all had a shoe that for some reason rubs against our heel or is a little loose in the back. I definitely suggest Avon's Back of Heel Liners has a set of two. This is definitely something that's great to have on hand to ensure that no shoe is deemed unwearable!

Shoe Sundays: Brunch Approved ~ Walter Steiger & Emerald

The most important meal of the week is brunch! This is a great time when you and your boyfriend can come together to catch up with what took place over the week or what will happen, where you and a number of couples can come together as you meet over a new or favorite spot OR friends come together so that everyone can get looped back in as texting and tweeting aren't enough many times in order to stay connected. Brunch makes Saturdays and Sundays a little more special and is a great chance to rock looks that you may not normally wear or to unveil your new treasures to the world! When I hang out with friends, people always comment on my shoes first and with the weather turning (ever so slowly), you can rock your spring looks now.

SHOE INSPIRATION

Shoes are one of my top two conversation pieces and it's super easy when they're Walter Steiger who is known for his architectural style of heels. This curved heel brings a lot of drama into your outfit and I love the fact that these nude/blush pumps are a great way to build on top of an outfit!

ACCESSORIZE THE LOOK

I'm all about rocking cute dresses and the essential cuff when it's time for brunch. It ensures that I have only what I truly need, allows me to stay in the moment without all of the tech I normally take with me and know that I will be picture ready as everyone arrives. I love ombre, it's been on trend from clothing, hair, nails and more. This Otte dress is such a simple piece and incorporates grey (which I love) and emerald (Pantone's color of the year). This simple sheath shape flows on its own and also enhances your natural shape and yet is super simple. Grey is a neutral as well as nude/blush. The emerald tone a great color to bring in to give a pop to the outfit. In addition, these heels with this dress will elongate the leg and I love how there is a bit of a high/low in this dress as it's a little longer in the back then in the front.

I love that this clutch by Stark is not only my favorite material (python) but has a neutral skin with a bit of grey, white, beige and green. This is definitely a bag that you can hold in your hand and accents everything nicely. Green Tourmaline mixes well with diamonds in this Sidney Garber ring which screams luxe fabulous when propped on your finger. It pairs equally as well with Chan Luu's classic wrap bracelet. Finally, complete the look with a fabulous necklace by Jill Alberts which brings the green back into your outfit closer to your face so you can see the motif running throughout your entire outfit in a subtle way.

Trendy Thursdays ~ Rich Tones Comes to Beauty

Last week ended a series of projects that were focused on the beginning of the year and with a lot of them closing and transitioning into new projects to start, I had to take a bit of a breather from things and seek a little inspiration after going to a few meetings and events. There was just enough time to take a little personal time and to see what was out there. This time of year is amazing as you're getting items from Spring, carryovers of items from the fall/winter that you may not have received and of course, you start thinking of items that should be hitting your closet! With my initial focus being boots (which didn't happen) I decided to have an open mind to find whatever would catch my eye!

ACCESSORIES INSPIRATIONS

I walked away with a fabulous pair of heels thanks to the amazing sales that took place at Lord and Taylor. Getting these Joan and David Quella heels which are a mixture of burgundy/berry, a mossy green and skate grey in snakeskin obviously gives me ideas on how my accessories can inspire items to add into my beauty case. Joan and David reminds me of classic heritage heels - it makes me think of looking in my mom's closet growing up and seeing heels that were in an array of hues and in my favorite magazines.

GET THE BEAUTY LOOK

With such a mixture of hues there are fab items in your local counters or online that you can purchase to bring this into your beauty case. Butter London is not only a nail polish brand but they also have lip glosses as well - I love how rich their hues are and both allow you to rock the burgundy tone whether you choose Come to Bed Red (the polish) or Primrose Hill Picnic (the lipgloss). Yves Saint Laurent also has two products that are fabulous their Volume Effect Faux Cils Burgundy Mascara and Eyeliner in Moss is another way to rock these hues. Burberry makes a number of grey hues available with this eyeshadow palette. Another great eyeshadow option is from Giorgio Armani and is a mixture of grey and a bit of green mixed in (which reminds of these heels even more).

Finish the look with these great finds. Smashbox keeps your lips richly hued in this burgundy shade. Rock these Slate nails by RGB And finally, pop in a bit of green with this waterproof and retractable eyeliner in green from the Sephora Collection!

Trendy Thursdays ~ Beauty Hits the Red Carpet

A great color in your favorite accessory is also a nod towards a hue that could work with you in your makeup routine! With the Oscars taking place this weekend, there are bound to be a number of beauty looks that will be great takeaways. We'll be tweeting the looks of the runway on Sunday starting at 1:30pm EST and would love for you to share what you're looking forward to seeing, what you think will be trending or what you thought should have been added!

ACCESSORIES INSPIRATION

Personally, I'm loving Coral! This hue has quite a range as it can be a bold vibrant color as you would find in this Giuseppe Zanotti heels which is a vibrant pink with a slight red element in it all the way down to a hue that has more of a dust rose/dust blush in a toned down version of coral like these Steve Madden heels which are perfect to accent your fab pedi and ankles!

GET THE BEAUTY LOOK

With such a wide range and so many options (I don't even want to tell you how many lipglosses, shadows and blushes I have within this range of hues), there are a number of ways to bring this look into your face to warm up your skin and to create the sunkissed look that I love wearing when I am on TV segments or that you see your fave celebs rocking. With the nail polishes, if you're going to go coral it has to be bold and although Essie has a number of polishes within this hue that are just slightly different from one another but still having major impact, this one in Geranium is a fave without a doubt! This is perfect for the days of being out and about, hitting the beach and just a fun color in general.

The lips are an essential when I'm on air as I love to do a lip cocktail (mixing a number of shades together to get the perfect pout). Within lipglosses, I'm loving Glazed Lips in Sheer Deep Coral and I love the subtle nature of DuWop's Venom Gloss Coral Tree. For the ultimate in lip color, Yves Saint Laurent has the perfect stain in Extreme Coral. For a shade that's in the middle of vibrant and subtle hues, Tom Ford's True Coral is a great option as well. Line your lips or fill it in as a layer with Colorescience's lip pencil in Coral Life's a Peach.

It's all about the cheeks and having those amazing cheek bones with great blush. For subtle style mavens I suggest Bobbi Brown's Coral blush which has a bit of shimmer. For those who wish to go bolder, I suggest Revlon's Photo Ready Cream Blush in Coral Reef. As a side note, I use a number of corals on my cheeks so those with mid to darker skin tones shouldn't be afraid to have blush that fits in the dark pink to berry tones. In many cases, I actually mix is in with a bronze hued bronzer to tone it down so you have the hint of pink or coral hue coming out which makes your skin look illuminated!

Snazzy Sundays ~ Accented Heels Inspire Decor

As I always say, you never know when inspiration strikes and mine came with this fabulous pair of Gianmarco Lorenzi Double Platform Heels (trademark of this fabulous designer) with exposed zipper detailing within the exposed platform. The detailing of this black shoe allowed me to carry this over into great decor options that can add some pop throughout your home!

In the bathroom, add details such as this black and white Legacy Home Linea Graphic Shower Curtain which has a nice architectural feel. Moving into the bedroom, flatsheets by Natori are another classic with a twist as they have a Ming theme on them. Pair this with bedding by Ralph Lauren as it's a classic that never goes out of style.

Moving into the kitchen, I am a huge fan of Mavea as we use this throughout the day, unlike my Penguin which turns my water into seltzer, this container purifies water and can hold large amounts. Paul and I drink from this everyday and many times, my water filters here before being used for my Penguin or Breville (tea maker that I am also obsessed with). In addition, I love fun dessert plates as these are perfect when you're having something sweet or you want to eat from a smaller plate, I love these Vagabond Vintage Black and White plates.

Moving into the living room or wherever you choose to relax in, I think having a Media Cabinet is a must! You can store your media in here OR it's great in your office if you want to store your accessories which is also another fun way to display as well as organize them. Add fun pillows to your space from Horchow which has visually appealing graphics. Finally, we're always charging our tech everywhere and sometimes you just want to talk with others on a phone (you know the ones we grew up on), so these Bluetooth Handset and Charging Stations available in black and white is perfect and adds a bit of pop in your decor!

Treasure Tuesdays ~ Pre NYFW Wrap Up Meetings

We're a little over a week from the kick off of NYFW. What I love about this season is that right before the shows, there are a number of activities that are taking place that I'll be hosting, supporting others and more. I'm spending my time running to showrooms to finish styling my clients who will be attending shows, brands who I'm styling their shows and some clients who will just be in the city as NYFW ends on Valentine's Day. How do you dress when you're in work mode and running around like crazy? I love to do it with the look above! I obsess over the perfect white shirt over a pair of leggings, fab over the knee boots scarves and some fab accessories! This takes me from me showrooms, event spaces, cocktails with friends in the city and those coming in and my fab clients that love grab sushi and cocktails. This is a great day to night look and one that works as you go.

I start with the basics - I love a short sleeve tee that's draped this is great to layer but even in this freezing weather, I opt for no sleeves this shirt by Armani Collezioni that can be paired with these faux leather pants (sexy) by Generation Love which elongates the leg. I love that you can add a cozy layer with this infinity scarf by by Swell. Complete the look with my go to, over the knee boots by Sergio Rossi.

Bundle up against the cold with these super cute earmuffs by Coach and this fabulous purple coat with fur trim by Alberta Ferretti - how cute is it when this is all together.

Now it's all about the accessories. My eyes are sensitive in the sun in the winter as the cold air definitely makes me tear up. Rock these oversized sunglasses Givenchy frames. Karl Attens has a fabulous pair of fingerless gloves accessorized with fun Swarovski Crystals. Since I'm always on my phone, it's easier for me to rock this look as opposed to having completely covered fingers. Finally, it's all about the bag. This Michael Kors satchel is the perfect way for me to bring everything I need. This is the perfect item for those fashionable errands, meetings and the tent.

Fashionable Fridays: My Style ~ The Body Con Look

When going out for a special event or just to hang out for date night, what do you wear?

I get this question a lot! Going out could be a number of things but when it comes to a fab night out and doing it up classic NY style, then I have to be decked out! Although I go out for a number of things it's always nice to do it up for New Year's Eve (I loved my dress that night as it was fab while not being fussy - it was a ruched body con dress as you can see). When I'm going out for drinks and hanging out with friends, this look is such a go to look! I believe in body con dresses (in terms of my go to look) as it hugs my curves and I like the ruching as it does allow some give. There are times I love to rock brights but at heart, I love my neutrals. This Alexie dress by Reiss is striped and works across all seasons. Pair this with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti watersnake slingback heels which are staples within my closet as I can wear dresses, jeans and more with them. Accessorize this clutch with a fabulous pony hair clutch by Vince Camuto. A key signature for me is a cocktail ring. I speak with my hands a lot (if you've seen me on HSN you know I can't stop) so you should give a little something to look at. This ring by Effy Collection is the perfect accent with its smokey quartz. A sizeable bracelet is also a major part of my look. I love this chain style by Ugo Cacciatore which is another conversation starter. Dressing in this weather is not always the best when it comes to the winter, but I do love this Karl Donoghue belted shearling coat which once again can be rocked with a number of your looks.

Swoonfest Saturdays ~ Signature Hue

Growing up, I was all about black and grey - they were my favorite hues. I felt that it looked super chic and although I was right, my closet was devoid of a lot of colors that are necessary for a well rounded wardrobe. Then I moved on to college and I definitely fell in love with grey to such a point that I began to banish black and go the other way with this heathered tone. It was coming to NYC a little over 10 years ago where I learned balance and embraced other hues. When Kitten Lounge came along, I eventually came to the logo that currently sits on the site. To be honest, I was not a fan of pink; however, it's become a color I have embraced to such a point that I have it on in some way whether it's my accessories, tech accessories and beyond. This look is all about rocking 2 hues that continue to run throughout the outfit. I don't do it often so it's fun when I opt for this style. With NYFW being around the corner, I have a number of appointments in showrooms whether I'm previewing a line or am working on styling runway shows for this time of year. I live for fab blazers, leggings and great pieces that let me wear an outfit from day to night regardless of how my schedule evolves through the 24 hour clock.

As much as possible, I have begun to add pink within various apparel choices and if there is a signature event that I am attending, I definitely wear this as this color now works across all the brands that I have in addition to Kitten Lounge! I'm a huge fan of Vince hot pink silk shirt which is perfect in all seasons as it can be layered or worn alone. Pair this over black J Brand leather leggings which is another staple in my closet. Complete the layered look with this fab Celine blazer (love the button detailing). I love rocking a fab scarf and have to admit that that portion of my closet just continues to grow, this one by Marc by Marc Jacobs is perfect.

I then think of my fun pieces and in this case, I'm loving these Alexander McQueen grosgrain heels with a bow - it's sweet and yet edgy. Geometria is in full swing with this Laura Bohinc sun and moon ring which is a conversation starter without a doubt. Ivanka Trump's necklace adds in a bit of heft and old world glam while these fingerless gloves by Imoni bring edge as well as allowing you to work on your phone as you're running around - I'm never without fingerless gloves.

Finally it's all about the bags. iPads are necessary in all that I do so keeping them safe while stylish is essential. This Burberry Prorsum metallic pink leather case is perfect and fits within this 3.1 Phillip Lim bag with a great slight foldover detail. Together it's a fab look or a great way to think of pieces that you wish to add into your look but to rock another way.

Fashionable Fridays: Python Trend ~ Year of the Snake

Feb 10th, the Chinese New Year will have arrived and it will be the "Year of the Water Snake". Now I am not personally a fan of snakes; however, anyone who knows me knows I LOVE python. There's something about the texture, hues and how luxe it looks whether it's on a handbag, a pair of heels or around your wrist. It's a must have material to have in your closet without a doubt; moreover, I love all the colors that it comes in as well! here are a few must have items that will allow you to play up the most casual of looks as well as to enhance something that is truly stunning!

Marie France Van Damme is known for her apparel, swimwear and of course fab accessories. I love her fold over totes ($550) as well as black and gold clutch ($550) as these are great and perfect whether you're rocking a shirt dress, wrap dress or a simple maxi! Ruthie Davis takes python from its classic hues to watercolor in her Sanibel creation with these vibrant heels in sherbert resort tones.

I'm all about wrist bling and it doesn't always mean stones, this Yosef H Antique Trunk Collection ($180) in rich red with closure hardware is a conversation stunner.

As always, I do look at an alternative as sometimes you see the texture you want, but it may not be the skin of interest. When it comes to that, I am known to swap python for crocodile as it still has a great look and is still fabulous to add a pop of nuvo glam within the overall look. Of course, it's also important to have the ultimate statement bag that can carry a number of things without looking like you're lugging your world (people are always stunned by how heavy my purse is) and how can you not do this in fabulous grey from Nancy Gonzalez ($2750). Together, all of these items ensure that winter, spring and seasons beyond will be perfectly accessories forward no matter where you're off to.

Of course when it comes to her (and what you may think of sending my for Christmas) are these fabulous Yves Saint Laurent Blue Tribtoo stunning metallic blue shoes! These will dress any jeans and simple looks. In addition, we're loving Ramiro Encizo's Petit Noor Tote in this neon cherry wash that allows bright pink to mix in with the neutral tones of this bag.

We're loving this Elizabeth and James black and white tuxedo which can be paired over these LAgence suede leggings as well! Complete the look with a simple cami and then layer on accessories to finish this look! I'm loving this resin Tory Burch necklace with chain detail as well as (of course) this Balenciaga city bag which includes everything you need for a night out. Finally, these simple Lorenzi heels make this utter perfection!

Mingling Mondays: FW2012 Trends ~ Kita Williams

A few seasons ago I remember watching VH1's T.O. Show. At the time that the show aired, I was doing a lot of traveling and it was fab escapism. I love when you see celebs and their teams that make them even more of a rockstar then what they are. Kita Williams is a fab publicist and was my fave on the show! I've always loved her sense of style and she definitely comes across as the bestie and girl next door that you would want to know!

Recently, Kita hit the red carpet for UNCF's 33rd Annual An Evening of Stars! I love her classic flawless look but of course, if I were styling her I'd have to get her in this fabulous rich plum/eggplant dress by Herve Leger! She would rock out this look with these fabulous heels by Yves Saint Laurent! Finish this golden look with this decadent Nancy Gonzalez clutch which adds a pop of color in this look. Although I love Kita's necklace, I would switch it out with Herve Van Der Straeten!

Fashionable Fridays: Kimmie Picks ~ My Wishlist

So a few weeks ago one of my readers asked what was on my holliday wish list this year! With it being the last day of November and us heading into the last month of the year (can you believe it) - I had to give you a peek on a few items that I will be looking for under our tree this year. As you know, I'm always about accessories and having something fun to put on! So since this year has been quite a year to make for a great 2013, I am definitely looking for Santa to bring a few things my way that will come in handy! As many of you know I'm OBSESSED with Balenciaga from their city bags in various sizes to their cosmetic cases. I love them in a number of hues but this rose golden bag is perfect no matter what coast I'm on or what season! When it comes to rocking something fabulous and decadent, I think back to one of my favorite jewelry brands, Konstantino - I adore this blue topaz. When it comes to natural stones, I love this agate cuff from YSL which is perfect for casual days or my power meetings when I'm going over design concepts or an upcoming event that I am hosting.

Of course, I wear many hats so in addition to being an Accessories Expert, the founder of this site and other items - I am also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Shoe Week and having too many shoes is never a bad thing! I adore peep toe heels, over the knee boots and sandals (AND I have a thing for flip flops - Havaianas of course)! I'm fortunate that my work allows me to travel all over so I'm always buying summer clothing even when temperatures here in NYC are much colder! These K Jacques sandals are so fun as I love that there is the shocking pop of patent leather color and then calf hair - perfect for my kaftans and maxi dresses which are a tropical must! When it's time to go glam or to dress up my jeggings, I'm always a fan of anything by Giuseppe Zanotti - especially with these amber suede heels! Finally it's all about over the knee boots - Casadei is a must to have in my closet from peep toes and beyond!

Mingling Mondays: FW2012 Trends ~ Garcelle Beauvais

I'm loving how Garcelle Beauvais came to The 3rd Annual Autumn Party Feature a fashion show by J. Mendel Benefitting the Children's Institute, Inc. at The London in West Hollywood. We love how she rocked out her black cocktail dress with this bolero, simple clutch and a pop of color for her heels. Her earrings are absolutely stunning! I'm a huge believer in wearing a fabulous necklace and bringing in an additional texture to the look. This cluster necklace from Donna Karan is a great way to merge the hues together and to bring another layer of fall into this look. I love her look when it comes to her lip and to achieve it would apple NARS Cosmetics Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil (obsessed) and Dream Creams Lip Palette from Laura Geller which allows you to layer on another dynamic shade on top (which is a great way to get your desired lip).

Snazzy Sundays ~ Prep Those Closets

Roll over the images and click to see more information.

With New York Fashion Week and Shoe Week being around the corner, I have to say that the fall is a huge season where I seriously look to fix up my closets! Maybe it's because I like to ensure that I have room for brands that will be dressing me at NYFW, that I tend to have a number of items for future dressing opportunities sent to me and of course - there is my own shopping habit! With that said, people ask me all the time what they can do to maximize their spaces in a simple way. What I love is the fact that many times you can go to Container Store to get these shoe organizers. I love that you can put them in your closet and use the rod that is already there and place the desired number on there!

If you have some shoes out on display some of your other shoes such as (from top to bottom) Fendi, Rupert Sanderson, Rachel Zoe, YSL, Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik can sit within their own spaces! You can take it all in sitting on this Ottoman from Horchow as well as having this print from Crate & Barrel to complete your zen like state as you begin to conquer your closet!

Treasure Tuesdays ~ Sunset Summers

With the summer quickly coming to an end, you have to do something special whether it's going out with your girls, having a rooftop dinner with your honey and more. I'm loving that this dress is perfect by starting off with Roberto Cavalli and to have fun accessories inccluding Nancy Gonzalez, Gucci watch and Brown Sapphire as well Opaque Sapphire from Eva Fehren and Jamie Joseph. I love the fact that this cuff is a fab way to add a bit of bling with this Federica Rettore and of course complete the look with these stunning heels with Rene Caovilla.

Snazzy Sundays ~ Your Office Is Your Art

As I write this, I can't believe that NYFW is a month away and that my co-founder and I will be launching Shoe Week. As you can imagine, I have quite an extensive collection of shoes and I believe that since we spend time curating our collections, we shouldn't have them in our closets. So in our offices, we showcase our fabulous shoes. This bookshelf which looks like a leaning shelving unit is available at Kohl's is the perfect way to show your favorites! Here, I have included Gianmarco Lorenzi, Giuseppe Zanotti, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexandre Birman and Christian Louboutin are fabulous to present - we all have our faves!

Whether you have a separate office or a second room within your home, you can have as many shelving units as you think is necessary to contain your odds and ends as well as your shoes. In addition, make sure you have a cozy chair like this one via Crate & Barrel. Place this fab leather pillow in the arm via Design Within Reach and this cozy floor pillow at CB2. I'm all about fun lighting and love this pendant lamp from Ylighting and when you need to make sure that you're perfectly coifed, this beveled mirror from Horchow.

Treasure Tuesdays ~ Night To Day

I'm not going to lie, I am a huge fan of taking night looks and rocking them in the day. The essential classic night shirt is perfect to wear later in the evening but how about bringing it in the day? Brulee currently has a sample sale and this shirt is phenom to rock in the day for meetings, errands and to board a flight! Pair this with Zero+ Maria Cornejo which has a crop knee legging which is super cute. Pop on a pair of Rupert Sanderson yellow and black laser cut butterfly heels! I love Cathy Waterman's citrine ombre beads. Pair this with Fendi's cuff and rock this Elliott Chandler cocktail ring.

Mingling Mondays: SS 2012 Trends ~ Giulliana Rancic

Last week we gushed over Kris Jenner's white dress and here we go back in white! Maybe it's the fact that later on today we have the Met Ball (dubbed the Oscars of the East Coast by many will be live streamed and available on Amazon, Vogue and Metropolitan Museum of Art) where we know the fashions will be stunning (and this year you can see it streamed live) that we're even a little more excited today! Last week, Giulliana Rancic rocked this fabulous dress by Theia at E! Upfronts which looked phenomenal. As a huge fan of this media everyday girl gone glam, it's hard to suggest tweeks - but of course I am!

I'd definitely play up the blush love by adding in these amazing Casadei studded pumps. I would layer on pops of shimmer with Charriol (loving that one of these a Nordstrom exclusive) - together it's just enough bling which every girl loves! To add a little neutral, how about Nam Cho's eye popping ring with champagne diamonds? This amped up look is so G and one we're super excited aboout!

Mingling Mondays: SS 2012 Trends ~ Kris Jenner

The Kardashians definitely have a matriarch that keeps everything in check even while she works on her personal empire. Last week, Kris Jenner stepped out to attend Google and The Hollywood Reporter hosted an event right before the White House Correspondants dinner! I love Kris Jenner wearing this long sleeved banded dress in white! It's a sexy look while definitely being age appropriate as she is always on point with her look .We're loving her woven black clutch and may we suggest this one by Bottega Veneta which is oh so chic. I'm drooling over her earrings as they are classy, eye popping and can be noticed wherever you happen to stand! To get a similar look, try Colucci Diamonds availale at one of my favorite sites, Forzieri! Finally, it's always about the shoes, I would have actually opted for this fab mesh pair by Giuseppe Zanotti as I love the fun exchange of textures between mesh, banded and woven! White is so crisp and there is a way to bring it to a feminine as well as an edgy look.

Mingling Mondays: FW 2012 Trends ~ Cynthia Rose

Be prepared for a sneak peek for your closets! Last month, you may have noticed that I was attending an all day shoot for Cynthia Rose for her Fall/Winter 2012 collection. If you love rich furs, textures and fabulously decadent jewelry, this is a line that you will definitely want to keep an eye out for without a doubt! Above is an image of the campaign that was taken and of course, I wanted to share fab accessories that could be paired with this tonal look. The star of this look is the fabulous outerwear! I would definitely pair this with a python medium bag which is perfect for running errands and going to brunch, by YSL as well as these suiede and python heels at Pierre Hardy. Finally, I'm loving this Topaz and Diamond Fountain of Life Ring by Vicente Gracia which will look phenomenal with this entire look?
