I love Fridays as many times I'm working within the neighborhood, wrapping up from the week and just buttoning things down. As we're in the transitional weather, I have a thing for rocking spring/summer and fall looks together. I obsess over wearing a simple button down shirt just like this one from Helmut Lang and paired with these fabulous Vanessa Bruno shorts. I'm obsessed with my new Gypsyz which are made from Gypsy 05 - love that these come up above the knee and are cable knit boots. I love rocking them around the house and around the corner! Layer this fabulous feather diamond necklace from Irit Design with a bracelet (fabulously jade) from Wendy Yue. Of course this green amethyst Lagos ring is the perfect way to make the outfit come together. Those who know me know that I love this weather as I will wear knit caps inside and outside to complete the look! How can you not rock this newsy cap from Pierre Darre!
Here we are at the midweek of NYFW! We're going to runway shows, presentations, parties and so much more! We change looks throughout the day when we can and it's definitely tough during the winter season as you never know when a snowstorm can come messing up your fashionable looks. But when I hit the portion of this time of year when it's time for a fun night out, convertible looks are always fun. Something easy and chic and of course cab appropriate! I'm loving this tank fromHelmut Lang which has an asymmetrical angle at the hem and paired with black leather leggings from Jay Ahr. Slip on this pair of heel-less Giuseppe Zanotti's which look amazing and hello, there isn't a heel!
Cap off this look by this Rick Owens jacket. Finish the ensemble with the Agrigento amethyst raw necklace. Rock this crystal rock cocktail ring from Low Luv x Erin Wasson and finally the perfect calf skin hair bag which is classic and has a pop of color in it as well thanks to Fendi.
Navy is such a staple color that you may feel confused on how to dress it up. With the in between weather that we are experiencing, I thought it would be best to look at how you can rock this shade in a comfy way as well as being able to work well within your lifestyle! First it's all about the leggings, I love these grey Helmut Lang as it's stretch and jersey which allows your legs to look phenomenal. Pair this up with this fab navy Schumacher blouse which has just enough to detail where you can wear it out for a fun night out while also having it on when you're running errands, doing meetings and more! Finish off the overall look off with these fabulous Gianmarco Lorenzi suede boots! I love that it has a bit of that military embellishment which is a nice detail that you can show off with each step.
When it comes to adding a bit more bling, I love Michael Kors' rose gold watch that has a navy face. Ellen Himic's pendant smoky quartz necklace is the perfect piece that will make your blouse look fab. Finally, I'm all about rings and love this Charlotte Bjorlin D'Elia quartz ring is known as the beast ring as I love its claw like appearance.
On Wed, I head out to Santo Domingo to design my 2nd collection for Sebago in my Kimmie Smith x Sebago Spring 12 collection. I'm uber excited to get in some fun and sun as well as to design the follow up to my Kimmie Smith x Sebago Fall 11 collection. With that said, I have a bikini for each day! I am a fan of many things and can't even list it as it would go on forever! That being said, I'm a huge fan of Rosa Cha! I have been for a number of years and who doesn't love a color palette of pink, black and white. This fab bikini would look amazing with this opal cocktail ring by Sevan Milky, fab blush wedges by Camilla Skovgaard and of course this fably adorned Helmut Lang Bunker Tote! It's yet another fab way to ensure that you're looking amazing no matter what global beach you're jetting to!
