I love searching for outfits for things that I have going on in the future and being able to introduce it to you guys is even better! Blushless is a fabulous designer who has created a gorgeous dress called the Wild at Heart Mini Dress which is made of 100% vegan leather. I love that this dress is perfect to wear for a red carpet event, a rooftop party or anywhere that you need to be noticed! I'm not really into Glitter but I am a fan of things that sparkle and glisten especially on a night out or when I know I'm hitting a red carpet function! When it comes to my handbags, I never skimp on the whole style and function factor. The way I think about it, my bag is worn throughout an entire season with barely any change ups. This bag needs to become my staple and go with a number of things that I happen to wear. There are so many factors that dictate whether a bag will be appropriate or not. I want the color to pop but not to the point where it seems like I am lost in color. I need a sizeable bag with many compartments and I need to feel that my personality is definitely reflected as well. In addition, I always love when I can find a great boot that makes me love the bag that much more.
Earlier this week, I was introduced to Hayden Harnett and I fell in love. Not only do I love their accessories but I love the boots and they have a clothing line too. They know how much pop they need to infuse in their pieces while allowing your personality to come out too. Essentially, you're wearing the pieces and not the other way around - which is a good thing. I have to say that I am in love with B Makowsky! They have super cute bags that we should all tote around as the fall is without a doubt upon us. I love these bags as they are perfect for the season, who wouldn't love the caramels and the yellows which are perfect hues to have year around. I love the leathers and the hardware that make these pieces conversation worthy as they see you coming and going. We all need stylish pieces while also making sure that it's affordable. People ask me what do you like to wear? What's your bag like? Well as I walk around with my transitional bag which I can't wait to sport my new bag which is one of the ones featured in today's gallery, I have to say that it takes so many components to make something perfect for me. It has to have a look where you definitely keep looking at it but at the same time, I don't like having super flashy hardware. Some of the bags featured here, would not be everyday bags but are definitely perfect for effect. I always like to carry large bags. Deciding what will stay home or come with me during the day is just too much stress. I love carrying my notepads, technology and sometimes I run around picking up a few things so I need room for whatever I will find along the way.
I was all about black bags and with the past few seasons I have gone to burgundy, various shades of cognac and caramel. I like to keep it fun. In addition, when it comes to pockets, they are a must. I need compartments for my compartments. Being a girl that's all about silver, I tend to sway towards brass embellishment and I am a HUGE fan of wider straps. The downfall of a big bag, skinny straps dig into your shoulder and it's uncomfortable and not very attractive.

This weekend my boyfriend and I went on an important errand to Blockbuster and found ourselves at a Pier 1 Imports! Of course they had an amazing sale going on and since we are in the process of decorating our place, how could we not stop in? I have always been a fan of this store and love the interesting pieces that can be found there. Interestingly enough, my boyfriend fell for this Red Bonded Parsons Leather Chair. Let's just say I didn't fall for it and fortunately, there was a black one that was like this that I was more than happy to compromise on. Thankfully, we were much more agreeable on other pieces but with sales from 25 - 75% off, this is a must to take a peek into!
I love a lot of the runway shows that have emerged with that fab summer theme and of course, my eye is always on the accessoires portion. I love the idea of presenting so many "citrus" oriented items to all of you. This citrus is more of an ode to grapefruit but is definitely something that I think is super cute with many of the flirty tops and dresses that we will be wearing as we head towards summer.
