I love a good selection of bling and I am not afraid to say it! if you have seen me out and about, you know that I love those large cocktail rings and am prone to wear it with any and every outfit no matter how casual or dressy! I throw all caution to the wind and I love it! Well I love pieces that pop and glimmer and am such a fan of LOLA (Lots of Little Accesories) Jewelry. These are bold statement pieces that are not for the shy or faint of heart, I really love the Smoky Quartz ring and would love it to be in my collection but there are also other colors that also pop out and look just as amazing with all of the outfits that you are prone to wear. These rings are apart of the collection 'Pop Rocks' which is very appropriately named in my opnion. In addition, you will love other pieves such as these pink ribbon earrings! Not only do they look elegant but they still have a lot of bling that gets you noticed.

I am starting to embrace a type of accessory that has been very foreign in my closet! Although I liked looking at pearls, I never thought it would be something that I would wear. This all changed when Moon River Pearls reached out to me! Who knew that pearls could transcend so many styles and provide so many looks? I love layering my pieces with chokers or other bangles. The pearls that are shown below are full of color and go from Little Black Dress to an extremely casual outfit with jeans and there is absolutely no granny factor here! Visit the site and although there are the traditional pearls, I love that they have great looks that are outside of the box - you'll never look at pearls the same way again!

There are so many things going on around Kitten Lounge that it's nice to have a round up. This is something that I will introduce starting today to keep you up to date! This week there will be tidbits from the first half of the month. Of course we had Fashion Week which brought such shows as Tracy Reese, Carmen Marc Valvo and more. We even went behind the scenes at the Erin Fetherston show to talk with Robert Cleary of Dashing Diva. Fashion Week also brought us up close and personal with Victoria's Secret's holiday presentation which was amazing. We even launched our music focus with Rachael Sage and of course right now, we are doing a giveaway that includes her special pack and you can still enter as well. In the midst of this, I celebrated my 29th birthday which was a lot of fun and who wouldn't love to end Fashion Week on that note! Once Fashion Week ended, we took a step down memory lane where we looked at some of our favorite toys that we played with; however, they have been reimagined by such celebrities as Courtney Cox and David Arquette - super cute. We are getting closer to the holidays so we started peeking into Halloween and I can't wait to share the goodies.
Of course, we can't talk about Kitten Lounge without talking about Paul! Our Food Editor is not only creating yummy posts such as his Avocado Squash but we will bring amazing posts starting this fall for weekend getaways. We are getting our calendars ready for long weekends which involve resorts, great foods and just getting out there with nature. I'm so excited to share more things with all of you but I just wanted to get everyone up to speed!

I remember when I was little playing with various Cabbage Patch Kids and also My Little Ponies. I didn't think about how old they are; however, both are 25 years old this year! Cabbage Patch Kids will release a special doll that will be apart of their 25 years being one of the favorite toys that we enjoyed playing with it. I love that they come in silver foil and that kids will continue to enjoy this tradition.
Now from Cabbage Patch Kids we move to My Little Pony! Now on their special website - My Little Pony Project, various people came together to design the ideal toy. Such celebs as Kimora Lee, John Stamos, Amy Grant and more re-interpreted this favorite toy and of course we have a few here for you to view. If you like what you see, you'll want to check out others who have joined in as well. Enjoy stepping back into time and thinking about what you did with your favorite toys and how it is possible that I am 4 years older than them!
