There are certain times during the year that I absolutely love to be in the midst of shopping mania! One of them is when Lucky Magazine holds its Lucky Shops event! I love going and checking out a variety of items that are greatly reduced while enjoying some cocktails. Each fall that I have attended, the deals have been better and I have walked away with some great finds and awesome goodies to go with it (I am still giddy about my Tory Burch bag and the most amazing CK seamless panties - TMI I know but I love them so it's ok). This year, Lucky Shops will be at the Metropolitan Pavilion on November 7th and 8th. This year the denim bar is back thanks to Lycra and of course Singer will be there for complimentary hemming. Lucky's "The Lucky Guide to Mastering Any Look" will be available for purchase and I love that Benefit will have a Brow Bar. With so many giveaways available and more, you'll want to get your tickets to be apart of this. In addition, the lovelies at Lucky Shops want to give you a little love so we have a giveaway for the coveted goodie bag! I love boots! I love i them in the winter and when you hit those long parts where you wonder if you can take another one of those grey days, there is solace in knowing that you have cute footwear! I am such a fan of these boots as it allows you to rock a number of looks by wearing these. Each one is good whether you're going for a sassy mood like the Magdalena, a casual and comfortable style as in the Rampo Boots or something that shows you kick ass and take names as in the Botkier boot! Either way there are so many fun options available that you'll be excited to know what look you're going for.

I really love the look books that ShopBop.com has! If you're un
sure of what to wear or how to wear it, these looks can be very inspiring! I love that the scarf shown here is made by TDM Design (they were apart of the posts that I had yesterday). What I love most, is that these images incorporate so many items that you're bound to have something in your closet that can be used to be apart of this look. Once you see how much fun mixing and matching is - you'll be able to create your own looks as well! In addition, it's always fun to go through your own closet and then to work certain looks. You can then take your own pictures as you begin to create your own look book. This will help you find what you like, what you think your missing and is always a lot of fun as well.

No matter where you are there is always a runway show going on somewhere across one of the many catwalks that are on the globe! No matter what you have access to them whether you were in the venue or you look at a variety of shows via amazing sources. One of those great sources includes Coutorture which brings the best of fashion, blogs such as this one and of course amazing editorials as well!

This runway show is from Peter Som during his SS08 Runway show. Although this look is being presented within this post, you can visit the site to see the rest of the amazing outfits that were presented during the show. I love that this look takes the idea of "Lady in Red" to another level. I love that this dress has the look of the "Ladies Who Lunch" but isn't stuffy and can have a lot of fun! This dress is definitely like a lot of other pieces within his collection in that the cocktail style of dress is played up and has a lot of fun elements. This can definitely be worn with the sweetest of ballet flats and of course, a great pair of heels as well. Of course, you can find more amazing designers on Coutorture as well.
