As Publisher and Founder of Kitten Lounge, I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas Eve! Whether you're traveling to your destination or have already made it, I hope you're having an amazing time and will have an even better 2013. With only a handful of days left of the year, I wanted to include things that have taken place this year with Kitten Lounge as well other brands that I am apart of!

This past Sept, New York Fashion Week came showcasing the best of Spring/Summer 2013 fashions. In addition to Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week and Milk Made Fashion Week at Milk Studios in the city, I was so pleased as Paul Farkas and I co-founded and launched, Shoe Week which I serve as the Creative Director for this brand which focuses on a fashion week for shoes. We presented a number of shoes during our runway shows at The Glass Houses, we had a kickoff event that we did with a shoe's best friend - handbags, at Linea Pelle's showroom here in NYC for our Style Tweetup hours before Fashion's Night Out and we had a fab closing party at XVI Lounge focusing on Sneakers! Our sneaker focused closing party, known as Sneaker Sessions was sponsored by Alma Tequila and Hot 97.

Being able to launch a Fashion Week here in NYC with a number of fabulous partners was such a great time and of course we will be presenting a fun showcase during NYFW in a few short weeks as well as a series of events in Sept for Spring/Summer shows again!

2013 for Shoe Week will be phenomenal as we're styling a number of shows throughout the year for a number of global Fashion Weeks, lookbooks and of course our industry focused events through the key portions of Fashion Week calendars! As an Accessories Expert, it's definitely amazing to share and pair phenomenal footwear designers with apparel designers whether they're brands that I have always loved, have become obsessed with overtime - with a need to share their brand with an audience of buyers, media and influentials.

We're in the final stretch of shows! Above you'll see the "calm before the storm"! This is when the fashion show has been set in terms of seats. I love when the room is empty and then you have a sea of people looking for the names and settling in. Yes there are plenty of shows to check in on but we're just days away from the end. It has definitely been an interesting Fashion Week to say the least with a number of events taking place professionally and personally! Yesterday, love definitely reigned and ruled as Kitten Lounge was one of the sponsors of Lookbook's Blogger Break Room (loving those that participated within the styling contest). It was a lot of fun to spend the day talking with friends and fans of the site! We loved seeing everyone enjoying Spa Week's amazing offerings as well as closing the night out with U'Luvka and their fabulous mixologist, Colin. There are a number of people to thank for making it a success whether you were an attendee or a sponsor but thanks to everyone! Today we have our eye on the below!

First off, Happy Valentine's Day lovelies! What an amazing day whether you have that significant love that you will adore more later or those who are simply in your heart as well. Whatever the situation, we love that you love us and that you'll spend the time with friends and family. Of course, we're all about the amazing day of love so it's amazing that Kitten Lounge will be one of a number of sponsors (loving that Spa Week is involved with a number of fab peeps as well) with Lookbooks for our Blogger Break Room. We're covering Fashion Week hard core so it's nice that you get the chance to hang out, relax, recharge and to enjoy a number of services. Come hang out with us as we have an amazing cocktail party at the end of the day at 4pm with U'Luvka and we're loving that everything is taking place at Lookbook's amazing loft. For those of you in NYC, you know that we were hit with some snow which may have canceled some of your plans whether you were flying in (like our friend. Fashion Director of Lookbooks Sam - who is stuck in my home state) or just maneuvering around the city whether it was for work or a determination to make it to a boozy lunch! Whatever it is, it's definitely cold and having some snow boots are a necessity without a question. But just because you have to think warm doesn't mean that you have to dress down. This is a super cute look that will work when you're running around the city and yet, when you take off your coat you can still look photo shoot ready for whatever happens after your first sip. In fact, once you're done you can begin to hone in on finishing your look for New Year's Eve which is the most important outfit of the year!

It's 9pm and my last show is on my list. Courtesy of Lookbooks, I was one of a few hundred bloggers that were invited to Richie Rich's solo show! Thank you team Lookbooks as you know that Kitten Lounge loves you guys! Now I had to go as Richie Rich attended the Forever 21 Walk on Water Runway Show that I hosted earlier this summer at the Frying Pan and sat front row. I knew that this show would be fun and filled with drama and of course you can see all the images on Elle.com. This show was a feast for the eyes from ballerinas beginning the show, to DJ Mia Moretti rocking it out and Caitlin Moe getting down with the violin. There were so many looks for a day out at the beach, parties, S&M wear - there was a lot to look at. The best part was Ellen DeGeneres closing the show out with confetti being thrown everywhere. She rocked it out and it made for a great way to close down the first day of shows! Fab job Richie Rich and I loved sitting across from Ice T as I'm a huge fan of SVU.

Last week, I sent out a major call for Accessories Designers to send in their information to be apart of Project Accessory! The response has been amazing and we have great shows starting April 6th! I'm proud to say that most of April and May has been taken up for these weekly slots. You guys know that I am a fanatic about organization as I love my Editorial Calendars so having yet another calendar to work on is amazing. Although slots are filling up, we still have plenty of room as we will do this throughout the year and many of the designers will make it into a book that will also be apart of this theme.

Continue to flood my inbox whether we have worked together or haven't. There are so many fabulous rings, belts, shoes, clutches, hobo bags, earrings, cuffs, bracelets, etc that need to be shown. In addition, there are amazing designers that I see at the Accessories Shows, other trade shows and of course within their showrooms that I can't keep those goodies to myself. Today's post is yet another call to action as we begin filming next week and for now, I'm keeping the designers under wraps but they are pretty phenomenal. Above are pieces that are definitely amazing to include in your spring and summer wardrobes.
