After seeing the Michael Kors Fashion Week show a few days ago, as I sat thinking about my post for today, I knew that I wanted to add some of his fab accessories. I am all about his bags (have always been a fan) and of course, how could I not mention the footwear which are perfect. I feel that he has quite a few items within his collection that use the olivine color which is the perfect neutral while adding quite a pop of color. Take some time to check out these items and then of course start putting together items from his label as well.

MTV Model Makers Is Looking For You

With so much talk about modeling, who makes a good one and what it takes, it's clear that everyone needs to take a step back and think about what modeling means. Finding women that are true bodies is definitely a request that is being heard around the world. Although the industry may be struggling with what it is considered ideal, we can all agree that positive health is essential and MTV is adding a show that allows women to work towards their goal in being a model while also enforcing losing weight in a positive way. Could it be that MTV's new show Model Makers may help 15 people from around the country by providing trainers, nutritionists, stylists and industry leaders under the supervision of Michael Flutie could provide some answers to this? For 12 weeks, contestants will compete in intensive physical training to ensure that everyone is at their personal best while also completing high fashion challenges to see who has the "It Factor". The winner will receive a $100,000, a models portfolio and a personal trainer for one year. If you are interested, there is an open call and all the details can be found by visiting MTV's Model Maker site. Fashionable Fridays: Fall Bags to Ponder

People ask me what do you like to wear? What's your bag like? Well as I walk around with my transitional bag which I can't wait to sport my new bag which is one of the ones featured in today's gallery, I have to say that it takes so many components to make something perfect for me. It has to have a look where you definitely keep looking at it but at the same time, I don't like having super flashy hardware. Some of the bags featured here, would not be everyday bags but are definitely perfect for effect. I always like to carry large bags. Deciding what will stay home or come with me during the day is just too much stress. I love carrying my notepads, technology and sometimes I run around picking up a few things so I need room for whatever I will find along the way.

I was all about black bags and with the past few seasons I have gone to burgundy, various shades of cognac and caramel. I like to keep it fun. In addition, when it comes to pockets, they are a must. I need compartments for my compartments. Being a girl that's all about silver, I tend to sway towards brass embellishment and I am a HUGE fan of wider straps. The downfall of a big bag, skinny straps dig into your shoulder and it's uncomfortable and not very attractive.

So the concept of LAGOON is a favorite of mine because it incorporates obviously blues and greens but also being able to enjoy the sun and all that comes with that. I love this outfit that came from the runways of Michael Kors (which you know I am a huge fan of his sense of great classic American style) and is apart of a collection of images from Coutorture. I love the bold color and the concept of the sun kissed island babe. You know with Michael he incorporate this goddess tone into everything that he presents! Even this silver girl gets sucked into his love for gold and bronze!

I am such a huge fan of Michael Kors. I love his classic American style and the fact that Michael has clothes that have that modern feel with elements of old world Hollywood glamour. Watching clips from this years Fashion Week runway show, you can definitely see that look within his collection. I love that this year there is an element of the American Jet Set group. I love the warm caramel colors and it seems like a touch of the 60's brought forward. Treasure Tuesdays: Fashionable Super Bowl Commercial

Today if you're in NYC or simply are a huge fan of the Giants, you can enjoy Super Tuesday AND the parade of our newly crowned Giants. In that vein, I had to share one other Super Bowl commercial that I absolutely loved. It tied together one of my favorite songs (Michael Jackson's - Thriller), Naomi Campbell and of course a tasty beverage. I loved seeing the dance moves from the lizard and Naomi and it was so catchy that it defintiely became my favorite commercial of the night. All of us should think about looking this glam when we're out and about and shaking it up no matter who's around (without carrying how we may look when doing this).
