Late last month, Giorgio Armani's Menswear show hit Milan Fashion Week! From crisp suiting for the Hamps, to suits at the office he had his models covered. In addition, we're loving the casual style that was perfect for jaunts in the country (or maybe if you're country involves portions of the city that you don't usually hand out)! Can we talk about the accessories and handbags? These items are perfect for women as well! With only 5 weeks to go from New York Fashion Week next month (stay tuned as I co-founded and will be launching Shoe Week and being days from flipping through September magazines, we're so ready!
Giorgio Armani hit Milan with their menswear show. We loved seeing suits as well as casul looks hit the runway. In addition, the large bags are perfect for trips wherever you're jetsetting destinations take you! Here are some of our favorite looks!

What a weekend! Milan was buzzing this weekend as many athletes descended upon the Calvin Klein Collection Fashion Show for this menswear shoe! With such notables as Henrik Lundqvist, Victor Cruz and Amare Stoudemire making their way to the show, they not only brought the world of sport together (hockey, basketball and football) but also showed their own personal style! These guys look great in their uniforms; however, can also rock a suit in a number of ways (tie, bowtie and casual).
Last week, I had the opportunity to pop into Scents of Departure event hosted by Christine of Tineey at Henri Bendel! Immediately, I understood that there were a number of scents that either embodied or were inspired by a city. These airport coded fragrances have amazing descriptions; however, I realized that there was an awesome quiz that I could take that would select the fragrance that was for me! What a great idea as I wasn't sure how I would be able to smell everything. After taking an interesting personality based quiz, I was told that I was London (LHR)! Apparently Miami and LA were close runners ups! With such fragrances as Dubai, Tokyo, NYC and more - you're bound to find whatever place is your home in your heart! Seeing that I run through so many cities and feel that I know a number of airport codes off the top of my head - this is perfect for the jetsetter. I love that they had a great window shopping location but going forward, they will have moved to the fragrance section on the second floor.
I'm such a fan of Trussardi as they make phenomenal pieces for men , women and accessories/gifts. I love that when they presented their line for the runways of Milan in June, they had a number of fab looks for the boardroom and vacationing in your fave locale. Their models also hit the stage with fab luggage perfect for all your jetsetting needs!
I love rocking large shades whether I'm in the tents of Fashion Week, running around the city or wherever there's a need to hide from the sun! With so many fab brands, it's never a problem to rock chic lines. Above is a collection of glasses that I love (beyond the ones that many have you seen me in as I'm a huge fan of Marc Jacobs). In addition to a lot of choices, Sunglass Hut is running a fun contest called "Full Time Fabulous" where you can win the opportunity to win the ultimate dream job as a jet-setting style blogger for SunglassHut.com. By winning this contest, the winner will receive access to everything fashionable for one year. Within that year, you will receive an apartment right here in NYC (fyi it's fully furnished), attend a number of fashion events (VIP passed to shows in NYC, Milan Paris and beyond), get a clothing allowance ($1,000 monthly), interact with designers/models/celebrities and of course have a salary of $100,000. This is phenomenal and a great way to live the dream courtesy of Sunglass Hut! You can begin placing your information on Full Time Fabulous
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you need to create a 60 second original video on why you're a fab candidate - as well as to fill out an entry form on their website as registration is open until midnight EST on Oct 27th. The winner will be announced on or about Jan 10th of 2011.
I love this season! There is a show every where you turn and we can all allow our inner (fill in the blank) Audrey Hepburn or Elizabeth Taylor come out. Although many of these pieces may not be something that you would wear out, you can definitely take some nods from these fashion greats! Fortunately, I am a fan and would wear anything that came off this runway! Salvatore Ferragamo is one of my favorite designers and recently in Milan he unveiled a line that I would not mind having in my closet!
My favorite outfit (that I would wear in a jiffy) is this super cute cocktail dress that not only wraps and has a beautiful key hole effect, but it also has a cute scarf. This is such a sassy look which makes us all feel that we are red carpet ready. I love the classic blue color and I love the snazzy elements that allow for shimmer. In addition, I love the idea that you can pair this with a cute clutch (I am so about this and feel that it is a fashion essential).
The peek a boo effect of this outfit is so cute! This is perfect to wear along or over denim and leggings. This is perfect for a night out when you are going to a premiere of some sort and you want to show how cool you look. Once again the shimmer is much appreciated!
This outfit makes me think of a disco dancer. I love the shape of this outfit and how it fits the upper body and instead of becoming a dress, it's a pant suit that is not only sexy but extremely classy as well. I love the black, white and grey colors of this piece.
My favorite "night time" look from this collection is this top. I love how it loops around the neck and the pop of color which shows a green portion of this outfit. I have always been a fan of this look and with a little Hollywood Tape, this is an outfit that will have every eye looking at you no matter where you go. Although I have shown a few images here, make sure you visit Coutorture to see more from this show and many others!
