Sometimes you have those days where you need to do some series pampering. Whether it's the end to a crazy week or you're taking an unexpected day off, you just want to relax. There's something about taking an amazing shower with your favorite bath bar and then layering in your lotion as well as sealing it with perfume. It's about just enjoying time to yourself and allowing time to stop for a bit. Many of you know Bond No 9 New York for their fab perfumes but they also have soaps that tie back into their signature fragrances as well. When I've been a fan of Benefit Cosmetics since I was in college and "Touch Me Then Try To Leave Me" is one of my favorite portions of their line. This rich lotion is thick and makes your skin feel so soft that I believe it's name pretty much sums up what your skin will feel like. Being someone who is obsessed with having soft skin, I think this is a great item to use. Of course, when you're having a spa day like this, you'll definitely want to have a fun robe and who doesn't live the kimono style. As you know later on this month, I will head down to Miami for a fun few days in the sun with various members from Schick (loved the lunch presentation I attended at The Standard Grill at The Standard NY to learn about the Schick Intuition Plus razors, pomegranate is in our near future and loved the results this morning), The Q Squad and fab bloggers that I'm proud to call friends! This is all apart of our commitment to Deadline Fitness, a book created based on Celebrity Stylist, Gina Lombardi's tips that allow people to intensify their workout when certain deadlines come up. Since June 28th, I've kicked up my workout activity as I not only only want to look my best in general but also for the trip and upcoming ones as well! I've been asked how do I stay motivated. Well being someone that is always running around, I love knowing that that I can focus my energy into working out to get a lot of my extra activity out. Typically, I exercise during the day so that I get off to a good start. Sometimes in a week I have that one day where I really push myself and I may get a little sore but I always have a way to reward and rejuvenate my body so that it's ready for the next day!
With a crazy schedule that will only increase, I love to not only provide treats like a smoothie but also bath products. Maybe one day in a week I take a bath or I'm a huge believer in exfoliating the face and body and of course I am a lotion freak so I love finding extra decadent lotion and pampering myself! There are times that I don't even have time to go to a spa so it's nice that you can turn your bathroom (regardless of space) into one. My workouts are a blend of what I love, items I hate but that I know targets my body and then something new that I may have picked up! For me, my workout is to maintain my good health and to increase my stamina and strength in general which is always a good thing. But although our body is a fine tuned machine, it still is our bodies and deserves to have a little TLC! Keep up the work for those that are working out on Deadline Fitness as you'll see the results the more you stay on it!
The first time I saw Model Co, I was in Sephora. I would later learn that it was an Australian brand that definitely knew a thing or two about beauty. I enjoyed seing the pink and white containers and loved that the products looked so simple while being absolutely amazing. I have had the pleasure of receiving some great products from their PR team and can't wait to share my thoughts on them with you! I have to say that I was so excited to try their Shimmer Airbrush Illuminiser!
I love that as you spray your skin, you're not only pleased with the shimmer that it leaves behind. Not only does this create an amazing glow, but it also has an amazing smell - which leaves you breathing in Frangipani (my school's flower interestingly enough). Not only do you smell amazing but you will be relaxes as you have chamomille and vitamin E to calm you as well. So you'll always look completely refreshed.
I definitely love the price point and the fact that it is so accessible at Sephora as well. With a full line to take care of your skin, you'll pamper your way through every look your're going for from illuminating skin that sparkles to having a nice tan that you can apply yourself (more on that for next week) and much more. I can't wait to share with you and I have to say that there is nothing wrong with having these cute colors and containers to brighten up my bathroom!
