When I go on air, I have the items that I never do without whether I'm traveling or not. When I get the chance to work with new makeup artists, I leave with a takeaway of items that need to be within my arsenal of beauty items. Here is a portion of my checklist that goes with me!
The Clarisonic is a must and I have 2! My yellow one stays in my travel beauty bag and is perfect to keep my face clean and clear. This way my larger Clarisonic that works on your face and body can stay at home. I am also a HUGE fan in Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorne Hydrating Serum which is perfect to put on your face after you have cleaned it with your favorite cleanser. I'm also loving Essie Good to Go Clear Nail Coat is always nice to put on your nail to make it shine even when your nails are done. Who doesn't love a glossy nail when you're on TV?
Now during this trip, I came upon items that are new to me! When I was on HSN, I fell in love with a lip combo that looked awesome! I love M.A.C. Lip Pencil in Plum that lines and fills in the lip entirely.On top, she had Stila Lip Glaze Gloss in Sugar Plum. I have had this in my closet for awhile but used it on this trip, Fresh Brown Sugar Affair Set has the polish that exfoliates your skin, the lotion which smells phenomenal and when you're not rocking gloss, how about that awesome light tint hue that also makes your lips look amazing. Many of you know that I love Zoya's Indigo but when I couldn't get it - I fell for Butter London in Big Smoke which has that great dark blue, elements of black and glittery hues. I love being introduced to new items and getting to play with beauty.
Purple, plum, lilac and more are fabulous shades that can be included within the beauty routine that you do on a day to day basis! Whether you're looking to spruce up your vanity or you simply want to add a new hue to your look, I've definitely got you covered! Finally, spritz yourself with one of my favorite fragrances by Natori which has more of that great eastern sample of flavors that will enhance the bodywash from your day!
Purple comes in strong this season as it is one of the main colors of the fall. Although I am exciting to see this color in various ways from makeup, coats and so much more, what about when it comes to your home? There is no reason to eliminate this powerful color from your home. Thankfully, I am so glad that Vivre agrees with me and has so many great pieces in varying shades of plum. Take some time to check out the pieces that look best whether it will enhance your pictures or be the perfect item to place on your dinner table.

I am a huge fan of Ella Moss and I love this Black Label Samantha One Shoulder Dress (available in black and also in a regal plum). This has the perfect amount of sass that you would want to take to a final summer house party, a release of a product or anything that means you need to look amazing. The dress is so easy that you need to only think of what heels and what your clutch will look like. If it's a bit chilly, you may want to think of a wrap but other then that you're ready to go! I love that this dress is on sale and looks super cute as well. I have a new favorite brand of teas. It started while I was at Wholefoods a week ago spending about 20 mins browsing the tea section. I love Republic of Teas and a few other brands but nothing had jumped out at me until I saw this logo of Zhena's Gypsy Tea and I must say that I looked at the label and the antique like tins and thought that it would be interesting to try. Although there were a variety of teas, I settled on a sampler which contained Lemon Jasmine, Pomegranate Rose (my initial reason for purchasing it), Ambrosia White Plum (which became my favorite) and Sense of Peace. I have been sampling these teas and I love that it's Organic, Free Trade and for those that are concerned, it's Kosher as well. After visiting the site and learning about the tea, the care put into it, etc - I signed up on the mailing list. I believe that my next purchase will be Brazilian Berry or possibly Italian Chamomile. I also like the sound of the White Ginger Iced Tea as well.
