We all have different styles but we all like the idea of having our own chair. This chair is where we come to when it's been a long day or where we could spend a rainy day! I actually love all of these chairs and if I had to choose, it would be between the Pottery Barn chair and the one from Rooms to Go. I have to say that the chair from Wisteria is definitely a great chair that I could do my jewelry in as it has that great boho vibe to it! Whatever it is that you gravitate towards, find your chair that's perfect for reading, watching TV (it's the Oscar's today) or coming up with that next great idea!

Mingling Mondays: Grab Some Rain

Welliewellie How gross is it today? I hate days where it's not only rainy but windy as well! I love that you can at least make the best out of a wet situation by sporting cute wellies by J.Crew! Now I know that this weather is something that makes people want to take a day away from work. If this is what you plan on doing, at least make it productive by hanging out at a coffee or tea shop and finishing that good book or becoming inspired by starting something creative! I love the idea of wearing a scarf, reading glasses (whether you need them or not) and a cute pair of wellies. This is also a great day to go to a gallery as well and pick up a new artist that you have become a fan of as well. Rainy days definitely mean more than just staying inside and getting a few winks. Of course, I could never say that hanging out at home and watching Fancast isn't a bad way to spend the day either (oh I can't wait to settle in to see more of Lipstick Jungle - is anyone else hooked)?

Snazzy Sundays: Eat, Pray, Love

Eatpraylove For weeks I had heard people talking about Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert - wherever you go, if someone is reading something - this book is bound to pop up. So as I headed out for vacation, I picked this book up. Once I was above 10,000 feet, I pulled out this book and the woman next to me asked if I knew anything about it. I explained what little I knew since I hadn't really read it yet and she let me know that she didn't even finish it and that it was a bit slow. Later in the week at the pool, another woman said the same thing!

Last night I finally got to India (this is someone who can read a book in a day if it's truly engaging) and I have to say that there are moments of struggle here but I am hoping that I can get past this and find amazing gems in this story! I do like it but it is definitely a challenge at times. So today, I will continue on with this book - has anyone finished it that definitely loved it? No spoilers please!
