I love many of the images from Christian Dior's Cruise 2009 Collection. There are so many vibrant colors that pop, I love the infusion of the essence of the Southern Belle mixed with the island babe. My favorite outfit from the entire show is this dress. I love that it's fashionable confection! Obviously the colors are very complimentary to one another and I love the length. This is the perfect item to wear when you go to a friends cocktail party on their rooftop or in the Hamptons! At the same time, this reminds me of a dress that would have been a favorite for me to put on my Barbie! The sleek look with the ruffle is perfect and I love the necklace that was paired with this piece. This is definitely the effortless and comfortable look that you would want to wear when being out and about. It's not a bad idea to think about wearing a cute hat with this as well. No matter where you are there is always a runway show going on somewhere across one of the many catwalks that are on the globe! No matter what you have access to them whether you were in the venue or you look at a variety of shows via amazing sources. This runway show is from Peter Som during his SS08 Runway show. I love that this look takes the idea of "Lady in Red" to another level. I love that this dress has the look of the "Ladies Who Lunch" but isn't stuffy and can have a lot of fun! This dress is definitely like a lot of other pieces within his collection in that the cocktail style of dress is played up and has a lot of fun elements. I love the fact that at any given time there are Fashion Week shows taking place around the globe. This is a great way to see the creativity of so many designers. In terms of staying with the theme of this month, I wanted to choose some amazing designs that have elements of THINK CITRUS. Thanks to the hard working people of Coutorture, I have included some of the posts and of course you can see a lot more from India Fashion Week and of course other designers that are currently showing in other Fashion Week Shows.

I love this outfit because of the super cute cami and skirt with this beautiful wrap across the top. This definitely makes me think of wearing this at a cocktail event on a beach or someones loft that has a beautiful deck. The embellishment is absolutely gorgeous and I enjoy the trims as well. I think that she definitely looks like a princess.

I have to say that this outfit is my absolute favorite! I love the pops of yellow and that it ties on the side. Once again I think there is something very regal about this and I love the black, white, silver and orange hues. You can never go wrong with a super cute clutch as well. This is definitely something that would be cute to wear at South Beach during some amazing event.

I like the blend of the sheer tones of orange and black. If I were wearing this, I would so wear this with Carnelian or an Agate stone that picks up these gorgeous tones. I love the beaded portions on the top of this dress and definitely feel that this is the perfect dress to wear to a gala and to set you apart from the typical "black gown" that people gravitate towards. Fashion Week is finally here! We all kicked it off in many ways but I spent my first show at Victorya Hong's show. She launched her line Na-be which was a hommage to the 80's and bringing it into a nice neutral palatte of colors with a pop of color unexpectedly showing up in the line. This recently voted off contestant on Project Runway was one of my favorite designers within this season. I love her designs so this was a great way to kick off my Fashion Week by seeing this show which was at the Altman building in NYC. Even better on this rainy day, was to see the show with fellow members of the Coutorture Network. As a member, we are all interested in presenting various elements of fashion

My favorite outfit from the runway show would be a tie. The first one was this belted look. I think this is such a cute outfit that can be worn in a number of situations. My second look is this cute grey piece.

I love the grey necklace tunic dress with the shoulders that have cut outs. I love that it was shown with pants; however, I think would be cute to pair with boots and cute leggings as well. I have to say that this was really a great show that presented over 29 looks with grey and blue being dominate colors within this presentation. On Thurs Dec 6th, Chanel had their amazing fashion show. I must say, that when people ask me what some of my favorite designers happen to be, Michael Kors and Chanel are always up there. When it comes to the classics, Chanel is definitely one that I love! This past Thursday this Amy Winehouse style inspired runway show hit the runways with much success! Take a look at the images courtesy of Yahoo and the AP! I love this coat with the embellishment.

I have to say that I definitely love the nod to the Amy Winehouse look. It definitely gave the show an interesting look and who isn't a fan of Karl Lagerfeld's designs anyway? This show had a variety of notables in attendance including Naomi Campbell, Emma Watson and more.

I love this look simply because of the whimsy that this outfit creates! Chanel's 2007/2008 collection took place in London. In addition to the amazing show, guests arrived in cars bearing the name and logo which is an interesting touch as well.
