Many times, I hit the shower and use my favorite products but on the weekends or on days where I have more time, I love to try new things. One of those new things may be products that I have to take more time to use. Recently, I received two products from Tree Hut, the Shea Butter and the Body Scrub with Brazil Nut. For those that have come over and watched me wash something or just talk for a long time, they find that I constantly moisturize. I do it so much that recently, my friend @nikisnotes commented on how she felt dry just watching me use so much! Brazil Nut has a great scent and I am in LOVE with the Body Scrub. Not only does it make your skin super soft but it's not so gritty where you feel that you have a bit of sandpaper. The Shea Butter has a nice thickness that's not too oily.
Your skin is definitely your best asset and whether you spend a lot of time at spas or re-create your own at home, you'll want to focus on spending time keeping yourself looking fresh! I swear that anyone that comes over my house and has the opportunity to stay over will hear about my new found love for Koh Gen Do! What is it that fascinates me? I love that it's natural and never leaves my skin feeling like chemicals have been placed on it whether I'm washing my face or doing various treatments that keep my skin feeling fresh. I love that when you start using the makeup line, you find that everything is natural and light and your skin doesn't feel like a mask! I also love that I use it in conjunction with other lines and I look flawless and camera ready (you do know that this line is amazing for HD). Daniel Martin is a celebrity makeup artist who understands the art of putting on your face so to speak and has worked on so many projects and amazing people! Recently, Rachel Zoe was on The View and although she talked about breaking into the industry, who could help but look at how flawless her skin looked! I love that it's not over the top and if you want to achieve this look, take some time to check out the products above and listen to a tip that Daniel shared, "I always prep and hydrate the skin with KohGenDo’s Oriental Plants Essence. Then I apply KohGenDo’s Moisture Foundation with a foundation brush. I find that a little goes a long way, blending seamlessly for all over coverage"! I love a peek a boo of pop! One of my favorite elements about natural skins is that the metallic python serves as a great neutral to this gorgeous blue dress that hit the runway yesterday at Tracy Reese's show! The peep toe pump is perfectly sexy and when you want to get away from wearing the typical black, silver, gold shoe - this is a great alternative! Take a bag and match the shoes with the same texture and a slightly different hue! Ted Rossi's pieces are my essential for a day out and an evening that doesn't exactly have an endpoint! Finally, take a cuff with unexpected color and place it on that arm that begs to be noticed! I would place it on the one that is bar just so that it becomes an obvious point for people to stare at! Yes you have added gold and yes you have added a different hue than the dress but I love the natural elements! So far the runways are showing color and fun for spring with an extreme return to the Old Hollywood classics!

A great outfit is a combination of various elements but at the end of the day, it comes to style and mainly time and place. We each have our own style whether you go retro, boho chic or femme. All of these can work with a number of activities that you're heading off to. In the end, it's always about time and place. A top that works well at night may have to have an extra layer or less jewelry so that it can fit within another situation. One of the things that I truly love is when people dress with a number of items together. I love shopping at various boutiques and adding something from Forever 21, with BCBG and then a pair of Jimmy Choos! To prove this point, the tops above are perfect to wear in a number of situations and can be reworked to show whatever style you choose to rock at the moment. In my love of high low fashion (simply meaning items that are either pricey or not that pricey), all of the tops shown today can be found at Mandee ! This goes to show that you never know how an outfit has been completed and that at the end of the day, you're turning heads based on how your brought it together - that's definitely a signature and trend to embrace going into the summer.
I am OBSESSED with AHAVA! Now there are many reasons why I love this body wash first off - the smell is amazing! You definitely feel that you have a spa at home as soon as you use this on your sponge. I have been using Bamboo & Pansy for about a month and I love how silky smooth it makes you feel. Now what else makes this amazing, there are no harmful detergents (parabens) used within this product and it is composed of Dead Sea minerals as well. This ensures a healthy glow that you'll notice within days of using this (in my opinion). This Mineral Botanical comes in various scents so you'll have quite a variety to choose from.
After enjoying this, it has me thinking about using the Dead Sea Mineral Mud which is for the entire body and then the men's line seems perfect for my boyfriend as he has sensitive skin! I tend to use it about once a week and I love that it makes your lips smooth and also gives them a little zing as well!

During Fashion Week, it's more than the fabulous clothes and parties, I love being in the tents and getting introduced to new products. As I walked around the various booths, I came in front of Boots. I knew them to be a store that sold various skincare, beauty products, etc. But I was surprised that the line called No7 was their own line. I was given a moisturizer for day and night and I have been using it since Fashion Week! I love how fresh my face feels and as I received a full sample, I know that when it's time to get another one, I can either go to Boots or I can get it at Target. This is affordable and attainable skincare that will make your face glow everytime you apply the creams! This has made my skin look very refreshed and I honestly feel that I am getting a mini spa everytime I was my face! So although this post is late in coming, I wanted to spend a few months with this product before sharing it with all of you!
So you guys have heard me rave about Model Co! There is barely a day that goes by where I don't use the Illuminiser which creates a nice shimmer effect or the refresher which ensures that I have a great dewy look. Using both ensures that you have such a fresh scent that doesn't come off as something chemically created but as apart of your natural scent! Recently I received two items that I have found to be an absolute necessity - The Liquid Buds remind me of the Go Smile capsules that you can simply snap to move the liquid towards the much needed area. It's nice to have something compact that allows your lips to not only look amazing but to get nourishment as well. Another item that I just received but will not try until this weekend are the Heat Caps. Simply put, the directions state that by wetting your face and applying the mixture within the heat caps, it becomes self heating and opens your pores and cleanses. I love that this is good for all skin types and in each box, there are 4 one time use capsules. This is definitely a nice way to pamper your face and to prepare it before you go back to the grind. Finally, I am all about the Exfoliant Wipes. Who doesn't need a refresher whether you're leaving a meeting and heading somewhere else or you just want to make sure you smell absolutely irresistable. But even beyond smelling great, you're ensuring that your skin is the softest possible by taking off the dead cells. I love these and I think that it is a must to have and with that vibrant color, you're all set. The pop factor of the products is absolutely amazing. It's girly to look at and yet so effective. I have definitely been thinking about the total fitness package. I got a membership two weeks ago at New York Sports Club and have incorporated that into my fitness regime (yes even the "Total Body Fitness" which is a bona fide boot camp) and I have been eating a lot more healthy by having more veggies. But when I was invited via Sam Dark and Total Beauty to hear Dr Obagi speak about his skin care line, he really got me thinking. I have been a Dove girl for years now. I am all about washing my face and keeping it clean and moisturized. But it wasn't until he started talking about your skin cells needing to continually be charged in order to stay firm. In his line of thinking, his collection is Skin Fitness. As I walked away from his presentation (and after an amazing treatment that won't be offered until this fall and yet I so want this), this Beverly Hills dermatologist made me want to keep my skin fit. So I have been on the regimine for about two weeks now. Although I didn't notice things overnight, I do feel that over time I have seen some things. According to Dr Obagi, you have to treat the cells to see everything on the surface - it's not a topical approach but one that like exercising, you'll notice in time. I enjoyed seing the pink and white containers and loved that the products looked so simple while being absolutely amazing. I have to say that I was so excited to try their Shimmer Airbrush Illuminiser!
I love that as you spray your skin, you're not only pleased with the shimmer that it leaves behind. Not only does this create an amazing glow, but it also has an amazing smell - which leaves you breathing in Frangipani (my school's flower interestingly enough). Not only do you smell amazing but you will be relaxes as you have chamomille and vitamin E to calm you as well. So you'll always look completely refreshed.
I definitely love the price point and the fact that it is so accessible at Sephora as well. With a full line to take care of your skin, you'll pamper your way through every look your're going for from illuminating skin that sparkles to having a nice tan that you can apply yourself (more on that for next week) and much more. I can't wait to share with you and I have to say that there is nothing wrong with having these cute colors and containers to brighten up my bathroom!
I love Cherry Blossoms and I find them to be not only beautiful but relaxing as well! I love this time of year when they're in bloom and seeing the streets lined with the pink trees is absolutely breathtaking. You can have this sentiment year around as a skin for your laptop thanks to Skyn! They have amazing skins that are not only protective but they are also a great way to show your individuality! This bright color turns your favorite piece of technology into something that you'll enjoy looking at even when it is not in use.
